RP:Orphaned Eggs Finally Found

From HollowWiki

Ancient Wall

It seems the forest may not always have been completely devoid of life and civilization, as a man made feature resides in this dismal area of the forest. The ruins of a long broken wall rise up out of the cold gray earth here; it appears to be made from a dirty looking brown stone and has obviously weathered years of abuse and damp here in the forest. Filthy dark green lichen clings to its damp cold surface so that in places the man made structure is almost unseen, it is almost as if the simple presence of a man made structure this deep in the forests cold foggy domain offends it so much it feels the need to hide it and slowly rot it away as best it can. You wonder if the wall stood here before the forest and if not what terrible threat could lay north of here the people would come so far into this dreary oppressive and downright frightening place to build this way too keep out. The path continues onwards through a break in the wall or southwards away from this rotting and now useless barrier.

Chakor looked around as he waited for Mythayus to show. After weeks of searching he hoped he had finally found the abandoned eggs his Queen had sent him on a quest for. There was an air of death and pestilence about the area, no creature, no matter how foul, would step food here. The lycan was on edge as he continued to scan the area, the last thing he wanted was to be attacked in this desolate place.

Mythayus was being careful, of his surrounding. "Chakor" He called in a whispered voice. Hoping if his love was in the area, he'd be able to hear him with his lycan hearing.

Chakor spun around quickly as he heard a voice peremiate the eerie silence of the land. To the elf's relief it was only his fiancee. "Good you're here." said the gladiator as he walked closer to the knight. "After so many bad leads, I think this might be the one." He looked around and saw nothing. "Well you're the dragon, can you find the eggs?"

Mythayus laughes, "Well, i know where to look. I dont have a special egg sensing ability, if thats what your asking. I have however been working on another ability that will allow me to since anything living in the area, including unhatched infant dragons." He smiles quite proud of that, though he does owe Al for the idea inthe first place. "Black Dragons Like to build their dens and nest underground. So let start looking for those signs."

Chakor laughed and nodded. He started to look around for any signs a dragon den might be somewhere around here. Since he had been given this task by his Queen he had been searching for these eggs non stop. Well, mostly nonstop, save for the week he was in another dimension but that doesn't really count does it? The elf had not bothered to ask what on earth the queen of Frostmaw needed two black dragon eggs for but given the circumstances that lead to this tasking, he wasn't about to question it. For several silent moments the duo searched but the elf found nothing. Looking over to the knight he queries "Any luck on your end?"

Mythayus shook his head, "No, i havent found any signs of a den yet. Perhaps, i should focus on finding signs of life." He sat down on the ground and crossed his legs, and closed his eyes. Faint glowing was coming from under his eye lids. Using his mastery of electricity, and knowledge of living things, He knew all living creatures give off some amounts of electricity and him being able to sense it, Reached out as far as he could. searching for the unhatched dragons, electrical signature. Hoping to help his love.

Chakor stopped and watched Myth as he sat down. There was a strange glowing under the knights eyes that disturbed the elf. He had never seen this kind of power displayed by his beloved. As he looked down on the man with the glowing eyelids, the elf heard a rustle in the trees. The gladiator spun around quickly to see what had caused the commotion only to find a small lizard scurrying across the ground. Chakor let out a sigh of relief, clearly the ominous air of this desolate place was getting to the seasoned warrior.

Mythayus opens his eyes they were still glowing, he had picked up on a faint electrical signture that was bigger that a lizard. He starts walking in the direction of where it was coming from. It was very clear to chakor that his love wasnt paying attention to his surrounding, just barely missing tripping over a large stone.

Chakor followed behind Myth, not wanting to break the trance the knight was in. As he stayed near the name he could see something forming in the dank fog. Two oblong shapes. Hopefully, these were his eggs.

Mythayus continues on his path, Nearing the ever growing oblong shapes. He stoped standing inbetween the two. PLacing a hand on each one. His eyes stop glowing shortly after place his hand on them.

Chakor 's eyes now light up, though his with glee. Finally, after all the searching, he had found the precious eggs. Carefully he places the abandonded eggs into his satchel. Leaning in he kisses Myth on the cheek. "Thank you love. I owe you big time." Looking around to make sure the area was still safe, the elf gets ready to depart.

Mythayus smiles, "want a ride?" Myth uses the baron landscape to his advantage transforming into his dragon form, With the sounds of popping and cracking. He stretches out his massive wings.

Chakor chuckled and hopped on Mythayus' back. For most people seeing a human turn into a dragon is quite a traumatic experience but since he too knew the pain of shifting, it didnt bother him in the least. "Lets head home to Frostmaw love."

Mythayus raised his head, "Very well," His voice boomed. Volume control was extremely hard when you his size. With a mighty flap they were air born and headed towards Frostmaw, with his love.
