Eternal Forest

Iverfin had been too inebriated to actually make it all the way to Frostmaw, so instead staggered out to the Eternal Forest. The full moon was upon her. She could feel the pains in her gut; in her chest; every limb and organ screamed in agony. She staggered around the forest, carrying what appeared to be a large duffel bag - supposedly with all her precious items in it to be stored safely somewhere. With what seemed to be her voice and some animalistic voice she groaned and pressed against a tree, shoving the duffel bag into the gap between. The elf couldn't hold out much longer~! Her voice didn't have the capacity to scream, so she didn't disturb the entire forest or alert the creatures to her presence. She growled and gasped in a guttural manner, her very skin feeling tense and tight - as if it was ready to burst~! She doubled over, blackened and pointed nails digging into the earth as she hunched over and screamed in silence.

Daisy doesn't really care much for this forest. Oh the trees and plants are just fine. They welcome her and her magics. It is all of the creatures that go bump in the night that she doesn't really want to cross. Well lookie here. One of those bumps just crossed her path. Of course she isn't seen, being small and quiet. That doesn't seem to be much of an issue here. The feline watches Iverfin and her struggles with a frown. "Are you hurt?" And then she sees it. That giant full moon grinning maliciously down at her. That's right, little kitten. I know what you're afraid of. Here you go. Play with the elf for a bit. Did the moon just cackle?

Iverfin reeled her head up at Daisy's words, obviously alarmed that someone was present~! This woman hated the fact she was a lycan, she was paranoid of turning someone or killing an absolute innocent. The elf groaned as she felt her stomach churn, the wolf thoughts coming to her mind - meat; food; kill; hunt; prey. Prey ran through her mind, oh the chase, oh the kill~! The blood down her lips, down her throat, in her belly - oh so tasty. The elf extended a clawed hand and wheezed, "Go~!" obviously, she didn't wish to harm her~! Certainly, the elf heart beat was typically just a tad slower than a human heart - but now, with transformation looming, her heart thundered in her chest~! Booming so loudly, reaching a speed that would border on someone going into cardiac arrest. It was, indeed, as if she were having a heart attack. In fact, that was what was biologically happening - the heart had to stop, in order to shrink down to the size of the wolf heart.

Daisy can't. She is frozen right there on that spot that very well could have been in Frostmaw. Oh Frostmaw. How the little kitten loves you and your icy wind and your dangers that always seem to find felines when they're all alone. There is no snow in this forest though. Only trees and grass and Daisy and this Iverfin that is in such turmoil. Poor creature. Daisy's empathy takes a minute to say hello, but it doesn't stay around long. Fear tugs that right back so they can hide behind something sturdy. Move feet. Feet! Oh it is useless. She takes a breath and lets it out slow. "It's okay. Just... relax." Thanks a lot, Frankie. That'll help.

Iverfin had no other words to give: nothing could or would be said. Blood pooled in her mouth, pouring out onto the earth below - soaking into the soil - as teeth popped out, one by one, to be replaced by those sharper and far more lethal feral canines. The swiftly-changing elf growled and groaned, clawed hand clutching her chest as that heart of hers came to a panicking halt; juddering in her chest as every other organ fell to failure and began to also shift. Lungs growing larger in capacity. The elf was silent on the ground, body shuddering and jerking as every part of her changed, flesh darkening slightly as blonde-ish fur grew in. Her face elongated as the maw and snout grew in. Oh that feline better have a plan.

Daisy stares in horror as... okay that was some awesome imagery there. I just have to say that. Daisy is already petrified and now she's grossed out too. But! She holds her composure somehow. Probably in a basket. A cute one with wicker handles. Her lips are moistened with a swipe of her tongue. "Hey..." she coos. Gently. No sudden movements. "Hey so... It is a nice night, don't you think?" Purr. Just... try! Purring is cute. Yeah, there's no purring right now.

Iverfin was mostly quiet while the bones snapped wetly and reformed; tailbone extending and growing fur. Clothes left in tatters beneath her. Jade eyes stared out at Daisy, before she finally emitted a chuffing noise and then that low growl that said: 'are you food or are you a threat~?' The elf rose up on all four paws, shaky at first as the body adjusted - but then standing tall, staring down Daisy with that bushy tail; hackles up and fangs on show. Daisy was either going to quickly become dinner or a playmate.

Daisy is friends, not food! Not food at all! Breath hitching in her throat, she slowly squats down in a more submissive stance. "Maybe we'll just have a nice little talk, hm?" Wolves can't talk, stupid! Do something. "Or, growl. There doesn't have to be eating invol..." Brilliant. Oh you brilliant and lovely girl! She sits down on her rear and slowly digs a hand in her bag. Food. Wolves like food and maybe this will help. Blessed be her magical bag of non-squishening. From that bag she pulls out a giant bacon sandwich. She needs both paws to hold it! Mmmm. Bacon. He holds the treat out to Iverwolf and actually manages to purr softly. "Here you go."

Iverfin growled still, not convinced that she could accept the sandwich offered up to her. Eyes flitted between the sandwich and the ground, as if to suggest Daisy throw it to her or put it down for her to accept it. Certainly, the submissive position was appreciated it - Daisy was seen as less of a threat, which is why the wolf seemed to hold such a prideful stance at the moment~! If something was so small and weak, then it could not pose a threat to her~! And if it was feeding her, then it was most certainly a friend and not a foe.

Daisy can certainly take a hint! She puts the sandwich down on the ground in front of her then backs up a little. She stays on the ground, sitting, purring, being cute. Tis what she does best. Hey! Don't you question her sitting skills. Fat kittens are totally good at sitting! "Just... you know. Eat that. Bacon is tastier than kittens. Besides, you don't want my fur caught in your teeth, right?" She giggles nervously, thankful her purring isn't acting up. Everybody likes purrs.

Iverfin approached the dropped sandwich in a proud manner, dipping her head to sniff at it with interest. The bacon sure was tempting... that said, she snapped it up in between her powerful jaws, chewing powerfully and messily - spilling out huge chunks onto the earth, which she licked up sloppily yet happily. Once the piece was consumed, the wolf huffed and stared at Daisy. If there was more food, she wouldn't need to hunt... and she could just stick with this little thing. That said, she sat on her haunches and stared - avoiding the eyes, as that was combative.

Daisy swallows audibly. You can actually see the lump in her throat move. Okay. So the beast isn't all snarley and bitey at her. What is she doing? The wolf is just sitting there. Maybe she wants more food? Possibly. The bag is rummaged through once more. This time she brings out a leg of lamb! One of those cool looking ones with the bone on one end and the flat part on the other end. Wolves like meat, she's sure of it! "Do you want this too?" She stretches out to put the food on the ground in front of the Wolfenfin.

Iverfin snapped forward, snapping her fangs at the leg of lamb before reeling back with it. The wolf settled onto her belly, setting the leg of lamb between her outstretched paws - chewing pleasantly and often using a paw to stop it moving away while she chewed upon it. Once the wolf had finished it, she dropped the mostly bare bone and looked at Daisy once again, levelling her with a stare that said: 'you live - this time'. That message sent across, she rolled on the ground to mark her territory - it was nicer than peeing everywhere - and then trotted off into the depths of the forest. She'd return whenever she was back to normal...

Daisy is just glad she didn't pee on herself! She clutches the locket at her chest, hiccups back a sob, and stands on wobbily legs. Sleeping outside will not do tonight. No. She'll find a place indoors somewhere.
