Balatro enters the tavern in the small shape of a fox. His fluffy pink fur was once again covered in snow from his recent trek through Kelay and he looked for a target to relieve the snow upon. Ahhh the feline and with that he approached Lisi, shook his body, and hoped to cover her with all the snow from the outsides.

Lisi sat alone at a table in the tavern, taking slow swings of the ale in front of her. She'd spent the previous night at the healer's home, but decided to leave the house before the young human woke up. The feline didn't want to deal with his unruly behavior today. She felt bad for leaving the scoundrel with Awne, but she was sure that a woman who'd had a children of her own would know how to deal with him. Lisi let her eyes wander across the faces in the tavern, only to find the pink fox approaching her. He stopped and shook the snow from his fur, a few flakes landing on her dry clothes. As she felt the cold soak through, she sneered at him. "Have a nice stroll?"

Balatro eyed the feline up and down, he made sure to take in all of her features as he grinned wide, "Oh the stroll wasn't that great but where it lead brought a few pleasures." As he offered a brief wink, his hind legs pushed off the ground and he soon landed atop the table. He took special care to place no weight upon his front right leg and with that he sat before the feline, "How's the drink?" It wasn't really the greatest of questions, nor was he trying to find conversation... It merely fit a void of things to speak about..

Lisi watched him as he eyed her. If she was given a piece of gold for every time a man had done that manuever, she probably would never have to ask for a free drink again in her life. She lifted the ale to take a drink as the fox jumped to the table. The leopardess peered at him over the rim of the glass with her emerald eyes. Lowering the drink, she said to him, "It hits the spot. Want one? I'm sure they can serve it in a bowl." She smirked at him.

Balatro found himself chuckling at her response, the insult rather amused the little foxling. "That so? And I am sure they mix yours with milk, yeah?" His eyes had finished looking her over long ago and he laid down before her, curled into a ball at the center of the table. "Sure, I can take a drink or two, been a damn long time since I had me one anyway." He yawned sleepily as he awaited the woman to order him the drink.. Afterall, why would he pay if she was willing?

Lisi let out a soft laugh as he fired a joke back at her. She raised her hand to wave over Nancy and ordered another ale for the fox on the table. The feline then slid down into her chair, propping her feet up on the table beside the pink animal. The bit of slush from the path outside fell from the bottom of her boots. "You know, " she told him, "its usually the man buying me the drink."

Balatro looked upon the woman as if she had just insulted him, "Me buy the drink? I think not! You know those cost money afterall!" He huffed loudly, perhaps even snorted as he spoke up once again, "Besides, why buy booze when I can just walk back there and steal it? Is it that hard to go behind the big ol' smelly dwarf and take a bottle of his liquor?" A light chuckle was heard as he shook his head definatly, "Probably one of the easiest fools in all of Hollow to steal from! Hell, between the avian town and Kelay, I have never paid for a meal yet. I simply take what I need from the fools and have myself a feast."

Lisi laughed at him as he made the outburst. "So we're one in the same. Stealing what we want without paying a cent." She was refering, of course, to the hundreds of men she'd fooled and teased by using what her parents had given her. She felt no remorse for them. Some of them enjoyed being teased by a woman they couldn't have. But she looked more for the pitiful, lonely looking ones that would jump on every word and favor she let spill from her soft lips. "I just use a slightly different method."

Balatro had found himself to enjoy this woman and her words afterall, her 'methods' certainly found like fun. "One in the same does perhaps not describe us best, but similar we are indeed." He chuckled as he added, "Hell, we even got the good looks to keep us similar, though mine are clearly better." His eyes lit up with mischief at her next words however as he gave a brief flash of intrest to her, "Perhaps you can show me this 'method' sometime soon? I think, we may both find ourselves to enjoy it."

Lisi couldn't help but smile at him. "Oh yes, I'm quite envious of the pink. Could you imagine how much it would make my eyes stand out if it was colored that way?" She was joking of course, but it seemed to be the one thing that this creature loved best. It was nice to speak to someone who wasn't so uptight or too unruly for her liking. The feline raised a finger and started to twirl a lock of her chocolate colored hair around it. "Really now? What kind of tricks could a little thing like you show me?"

Olivia enters the tavern, carrying a rather large bag within both her hands, elbows pinned at her sides to keep the bundle from overflowing and spilling over. Whatever the hell was inside, was quite the mystery, for even as she walked with keen focus upon the bag and a determination to keep it upright, nothing hinted to what was in there. Oli sat down at the bar, plopping the bag down and digging inside. Once she found a smooth ball she pulled it out...Actually, the author lied, it was really just an apple. In which, the avian took a rather large bite from. Yum.

Balatro looked towards Lisi with a grin, "Oh I don't think it's any new tricks for you, I just do them better." He gave another momentary wink until he spotted the avian as she entered, a brief nod given to Lisi, "Scuze me, unless you wish to join.. Course, I can no longer joke about this stuff.. Don't want to upset the woman, now would ya?" He chuckled once more as he leapt off the table and hopped onto a seat beside the apple eating avian. "Hey there Oli!" He nuzzeled his body against hers, "How did you sleep?"

Namern walked into the tavern in silence, not wanting to be seen or heard, the Vampire had gone to extreme measures to conceal who he was. Goggles and scarf covered most of his face with a tophat concealing the rest and long robes with gloves to prevent anyone recognising his general body shape. His boots fell upon the floorboards and they let out a dull creak with each step and soon enough he reaches a table that he feels comfortable at, towards the back but still in the larger group of people to remain inconspicious, and sits down, looking about at the people inside the tavern with a small amount of comtempt.

Lisi looked over and saw the avian walk in, and winked at the fox. She understood, after all she knew what it was like keeping secrets and such. "You got it." She gave the pink animal a small wave, and let him run off to the girl. She figured that she'd let him have a talk alone with his 'woman'. As much as she knew about secrets, she was getting quite bored with affairs. The feline let her eyes fall on another new comer to tavern, a man who seemed to want to keep to no one but himself. Perfect, she thought. Lisi rose from her seat and on her way to the man's table, snatched a half empty bottle of clear alcohol. She placed it down before the man, looking down at him with a smirk, her other hand resting lightly on her hip. "Rough day?"

Namern looked up at the newcomer, his sheer curiousity was enough to stop him from doing anything stupid like standing up and walking away but he didn't particularly feel like talking, still, his curiousity beats his comfort and he speaks anyway, "I suppose you could say that. There are a lot of bad things happening lately and I'm afraid I have just been on the receiving end of one." He kicks out a chair across from him should the other want to sit and continues, "It's nothing I can't handle though. What about yourself? I am sure you have a more interesting story to tell than I."

Lisi politely took the seat that was pushed out for her. She sat smoothly, propping her elbow up on the table then resting her chin in her palm. The other hand's index finger lightly traced the opening of the bottle, listening to the man's words. "Oh dear, " She said, then pushed the bottle to him. "It always helps" She gave him a wink and then leaned back in her seat, her spotted chest heaved as she let out a heavy sigh. Remembering the night before, she told him, "Well, other than dealing with a young, hot headed human who had a little too much to drink, just fine." She smiled at him, her hazel eyes making contact with his.

Namern politely slides the bottle back towards the female, "I don't drink. Well, not at the moment." Her eyes may of tried to make contact with his but he was wearing goggles and refused to make eye contact, his vision darts over to her shoulder and he continues, "Pity. Did you hurt them?" The Vampire chuckles, if anyone in this tavern knew him personally they would notice a slightly darker tone and a more cruel demeanour than usual, but there was only one person here who would notice that, and they didn't matter to him, "I've been dying for a good rough up."

Balatro said to Namern, "I can rough you up, ya blathering fool... In fact, I would enjoy to bash you about a bit! It isn't like you don't deserve it, backing out of our brilliantly made plan!"

Namern said to Balatro, "Do I know you?"

Lisi let the bottled back into her hand and shrugged at him as she took a small swig from it. Setting it down, the feline looked down at her nails. "Hurt him? Oh no, wouldn't think of it." She said, when in actuality she did land a good slap across the man's face just before he'd passed out from his over consumption. The feline let a smile tug at her lips and she told him, "You know, if he were here, he probably would try and pick a fight." She heard the fox spit words at the man she was making conversation with then shook her head. "Don't listen to him, he's just trying to pull your leg."

Namern nods, "Well, people don't pull my leg. It doesn't work because I don't care." He puts his hands together on the table, "Someone that wouldn't think of hurting another. Quite an unusual thing. I think you are lying my dear. Sorry to say." It was the logical path and the words 'wouldn't think of it' in a sentence gives him an instant doorway to be suspicious. No one says wouldn't think of it while being truthful.

Lisi cut in a glare to the man as he said his thoughts on her words. She drumed her claw-like nails on the table's surface and she said to him. "Alright. Gave him a good hard slap across the cheek. Bastard deserved it." She huffed. The anger from last night had returned and now she wanted to lay a good hand across the human's face a second time. Something about him frustrated her, but it concerned the feline more that she cared enough to still think about it. "Down right ungrateful..." She muttered, then realized that she was still in the presence of the strange man. She pushed away the anger and gave him the sweetest smile she could. "So why hide yourself so much? Not like the sunlight?"

Namern smiles, "Madame, I hide myself for many reasons, the sunlight is not one of them." Though the Vampire wished that this subject would be dropped, he knew that it would be rude, so rather gave one of the most simple explanations he could, "I don't wish to be recognised. Simple as that. People think I am someone named Namern. I am not. It get rather frustrating sometimes I must say." He looks to Balatro and gave him a quick flip of the bird before turning back to the woman, feeling much better about himself, "So how was this human, and I quote, 'down right ungrateful'?"

Lisi didn't really understand the reason for keeping yourself hidden away from everyone. She was, after all, a very outgoing person and about wearing clothing to keep yourself unrecognized, well her revealing corset didn't giver her much on that subject. "Well, my good sir, if I were to call you by a name, what would it be?" She asked, giving a smiled that tugged at the corner of her lips. When the man brought up Stryder her smiled faded in an instant and she looked away to the bar. "He's unruly. Got a habit of using women. Too much like.." she stopped herself. Too much like me, she finished in her thoughts.

Namern didn't push the matter further, seeing that it was making the woman uncomfortable, "My name is Sairyu. Pleased to make your accuaintence." He extends his hand for a handshake, "And you are?"

Lisi looked back at the man, trying to see past the goggles that covered up his eyes. She took his hand with her much smaller one and smiled. "Nice to meet you, Sairyu. My name is Lisi." She rested her chin in her palm once more, enjoying the company of a level headed man for once. "So, if I may ask, why do people insist on mistaking you for this Namern fellow?"

Namern shrugs, "Apparently we look alike, personally I can't see the resemblance." He adjusts his tophat and leans back a little on his chair, "There are worse things than being mistaken for someone else. I could be killed for his mistakes. Personally, I couldn't care less if he was killed for mine."

Lisi frowned at him. "I'd hate to look like someone else. Well, depending on how they looked. If they were as pretty as say, myself, it wouldn't be a problem." She giggled to herself and then waved her hand as if to toss away the words. "So, if this causes so much trouble, why not just put a bounty out on him?"

Namern laughs, "I've neither the money nor time. Besides, it's not like I want him dead, just to stop being mistaken for him."

Lisi nodded in understanding. "Fair enough, a few extra coins are hard to come by." This statement was not true for herself, as she could get anything she asked if she showed just enough skin to a wanting man. "You could always do it on your own. You said yourself that you could go for a little rough up. But I agree, why hurt someone when you could just as easily avoid them?"

Namern nods, "Quite so." He removes a bottle of blood wine and removes the cork, getting a glass from Nancy and filling it about half way. The man pulled down his scarf and took a sip from the liquid, "Besides, I am begining to enjoy being covered like this, it's rather amusing."

Lisi took a drink from the bottle she had as the man before her took a drink from the contents of his. She watched him pull down the scarf that once covered his mouth to drink. The feline still found it odd, but didn't find the point in arguing with him. He wanted to stay hidden and unnoticed, so be it. "I'm sure if keeps you nice and warm this time of year."

Namern smiles, "I feel no cold. It is really just for show. I can take it off anytime I like."

Lisi said, "Unless you want to be noticed, of course." She took one final drink, leaving the bottle empty. She stood from the table and she gave the man a pleasant smile. "Thank you for the company, I appreciate such a level head." She placed a hand on his, "I should be off before the cold of the night sets in." The feline gave another wink and she turned to grab her cloak from the coat rack, then pushed open the doors of the tavern.

Namern waves goodbye to the woman and looks back to his glass, sipping from it quitely.
