Meadow - Her Name is Diamond!

A path runs through this meadow from the merchant's corner, and then turns west. Your sure that it would save time for the path to just cut straight west, but the maker of this dirt road obviously wanted travelers to see this serene place. Long, soft grass, and wild flowers invite you to lie down here and enjoy the peace and quiet of this place. Bees hum from flower to flower, collecting the sweet nectar, and unknowingly the means to create the plants offspring. This meadow shows how dignified and simple life can be sometimes, and you feel the need to ponder your own existence in this world called Hollow. To your west you see a path leading into the hills, while to your north you can see a building.

Aranhil once more pushed his cart towards the small grassy plain. Once he would reach it from the northern exit he would attempt and hide it well into the trees but before he would do so he would once more grab his pack. Intent this time on gathering the herbs needed for his new potion he would track across the field in search of the south west Xalious exit. Now, with the cart well hidden he started across the meadow, keeping his wits about him he was sure to keep extra attention on the field, too many times already has he come through here seeking the exit to end up helping a young maiden whose name he may never learn. All the same, that same maiden crossed his mind now, ‘Had she really been freed?’ he wondered.

Diamond layed in the middle of the meadow. She seemed fine from a distance, and very well was. Her arms were crossed behind her head nonchlantley(sp...) and her legs were crossed as if she didn't have a care in the world. She just lay there, staring at the drifting clouds and the fleeting sun. She heard footsteps, and undoubtfully they were Aranhil's, no one else came in here....and if they did, they would walk faster, as if to just pass the nature's gift, " Hi." The elf calls out, but doesn't look

Aranhil who had been glancing perhaps too much to the corner of the meadow where he often saw Diamond was somewhat surprised at the voice just ahead of him. So continuing hesitantly he finally finds the voice’s origins only nearly after walking into her. The grasslands were in bad need of keeping and grew tall. “Hello there, how are you today?” he wondered what was wrong now, for it seemed that something always was, even if she looked fine. He would kneel down beside her perhaps to better inspect her body, and in no way did he mean it sexual, but only professional.

Diamond grabbed the collar that she had been keeping by her side and tossed it at the man. That most likely would have distracted him for a bit, because now she was sitting squarely infront of him, " Thank you." She mumered. On a seperate note, there didn't seem to be anything wrong with her

Aranhil caught the collar only after it would hit him in the chest and he would fumble with it before falling backwards to the dirt path. Smiling and yet still somehow embarrassed he would sit up and blink maybe an extra time or two at her sudden movement that to him had gone unnoticed. Toying with the collar in his hands he would look back up to Diamond and say to her, “So you found out it was me after all,” it was more a statement than a question. “You are very welcome,” he would say after a short time. Aranhil suddenly remembered his quest for herbs but decided once more that it could wait, after all they were rooted well to the ground and would go nowhere even if they were made to wait another day on him to pluck them from their rocky soil.

Diamond nods slowly, " I guessed. You said you would, and I seemed to be sold...quickly. I am sorry for the burden I have caused you." Slowly, she bows down her torso and presses her torso to her knees, after a moment of staying in this position she straightens up and extends a hand," I was told my name is Diamond. Nice to finally meet you properly."

Aranhil didn’t know exactly what to say as she bows to him, in fact words didn’t form in his head until she greeted him with her name. “Diamond, what a good name, mine is Aranhil as you know.” He would smile and shake her hand. “And don’t worry about the whole thing. It wasn’t much, only a few gold pieces.” This was in fact a lie; he had spent thirty-five thousand gold pieces on her to save her from perhaps a worse fate. In his mind it was worth every coin.

Diamond shook her head, as she lets her hand fall, "Do not lie to me. I know the price of slaves these days...It wasn't that much..." She looked away and let out a sigh," I still am sorry. If I hadn't been here in the first place..." Her lips pursed and she let out yet another sigh.

Aranhil thought a few moments and then decided it best to apologize. “I am sorry, but really do not let it bother you. Tell me though; have you recovered any of your memory? How did you learn your name?”

Diamond frowns, " I have gained nothing in memory. Someone I knew came by...I think he was my brother the way he was acting when he saw me..." She couldn't have been more wrong," He said my name was Diamond...and the little girl I have been seeing in my hallucinations if supposingly my daughter...." Her eyes squinted and then the elf nods, " Thats it..."

Aranhil nodded a smile over his face, “Perhaps I could meet them one day? Maybe tomorrow?” Aranhil was truly happy for her, meeting her brother and now knowing her sister. Maybe he could learn something of Diamond’s past from them and so help her to remember it. Then again, what if when Diamond remembered her past, what if he never saw her afterwards again if what she was to learn would was in some way horrible. After a moment he dismissed the thought knowing it couldn’t be so, he looked at her again, someone as such couldn’t be evil. He smiled again feeling a sort of happiness at her being happy, even if in this small way.

Diamond trembled slightly and shook her head. Her voice became dry and hoarse as she spoke," I don't know where my daughter is..." A hand wiped away a few tears that rolled down," The man named Xylen said that if I don't find her he will....But I don't know where she is. I only saw her in my nightmares, and they weren't good..." A small sniffle followed her quick blubbering words, " I-I am sorry...."

Aranhil was confused, he didn’t know what to think, what intentions did this man have with her daughter? He wouldn’t let anything happen to her. He knew this. Standing he would grab her hand and pull her up with him. He would pull her into a hug, more on impulse than otherwise. “Don’t worry, Ill help you find her. I have connections in the other cities such as Larket and Kelay.” Now he released her and not waiting for her to possibly say anything else he would race off for Kelay village in search of the Larket Tradesmaster. Before exiting he would holler to the winds.

You shouted, "I shall find her!" You ooc: sorry, i have to go, if i want my paycheck i have to leave.
