Fountain - Aranhil Buys Her Freedom

Aranhil walks up the trail, the cart he normally pushes around with him is set aside hidden in some trees in Xalious. Now he only carried with him a small pack, and running at his heels would be his clever pet fox who seemed to be sniffing at the air the whole way through as if something delectable was about to become its next meal, perhaps an unaware rodent. “Where are you Bell! I have your coin!” he would shout.

Diyuir :: A heavily armed and cloaked figure stood on the Kelay Fountains edge. The figures arms were crossed and his wit was about him. The sound of a beings voice would ring through his ears as he awaited. There was something strange about this being though as it came into sight. Something about them that wasn't right. Beside the Wood Elf was no one. Instead his slave dealings were done by enchanted items that controlled his selections. As Aranhil came into view Diyuir spoke in a cold emotionless voice. "Greetings my friend. Congratulations on your new property. Though before our deal is done, I must ask do you wish to buy Lady Diamonds freedom, or keep her as your pet. For if you shall free her all you need do is destroy the braclet. If you wish to take her as your own. I will need your blood." Standing still now the figure among the fountain didn't show any emotion nor interest in his customer.

Aranhil turned as he only now noticed the figure standing in plain site. He released magic already into his armlets and rings which gave him the power well beyond that of giants. But he knew now he could not touch this man. Nor could he see clearly who he may be. a small fracture in his plan to capture this slave trader. Allowing the magic in his items to dissipate he knew that for now he would have to play this clean and clear, at least until diamond was safe from harm. “How am I to know you shall not attempt and recapture her Bell, should I set her free?”

Diyuir :: The cloaked man remained ever vigilant and still as he spoke in the same cold voice to Aranhil. "My name, is not Bell. You seek another. Yet you fail to realize something my friend. We are running a business here. What kind of business would we behold if we went around re-capturing our goods? It would set out a bad name for us and leave us in the poor districts of gualon feeding off dead rats." The figures robes swayed lightly in the wind as a moment of silence passed. "If you wish to purchase the girl. I suggest doing so now. Else I shall see this as a stage and your ties will be cut from the gears."

Aranhil smirked at the man, this is not the last you shall hear from me you know. I will plan a way to capture all of you involved in your business…but for now free Diamond from her binds. I pay you for her freedom!” He tosses a rather large bag of coins to the mans feet.

Diyuir :: The figure nods lightly to the man and reaches down picking up the coins. "We understand your concern my dear friend. We know your heart must beckon for you to destroy us. We will not deny you your chance in due time. I will inform Bellium Avanas of your request. We do have honor and such." As the cloaked figure pocketed the gold he pulled up his robe sleeve and removed a bracelet from his wrist. The enchanted runic item flashing gently. He tossed it to Aranhil and spoke. "Destroy the item. It may be crushed, smashed, burned, whatever. You will find Diamond free of her chains once this is done. Thank you for your business customer." With that said the well guarded figure turned and fled into the shadows. His end of the bargain well held. Though his silver tongue had spilled one lie, he would inform Bellium. If he existed. Little did Aranhil know he had just dealed with Diyuir himself. Feeling his heart bursting through his chest he realized how badly he needed the gears now. Someone was on to him and his dealings were in trouble. Yet he had one thing of warning. Mint.
