The traveller meets the rat

Crimsona shakes her head "I have never heard of you my dear, I have only been in these lands a short time, I come from a far away land of fire and lava called Volcanoss which sits not on a body of water, but a body of lava miss Rowen Stronghammer." she had replied to Rowen, and then introduced herself in turn "Most call me 'The Dark Phoenix', but my full name is 'Crimsona Blazefyre Flametongue' dear Rowen, have you ever heard of the Flametongue name Empress Rowen?" she had asked the rat lady just now.

Rowen the little empress shakes her head. "Sadly I have not, but I'll have my imperial secretary make a note of it."It is an immense honour for you to meet me, after all I am many thousands of times more intelligent, and more beautiful than any other being who ever existed. Something to tell you grandchildren about, eh? So why did you beg for a royal audience with my great self?" She curls her tail around her. "Also what is this lava, it's a kind a bread made from seaweed isn't it? So it a body of lava some sort of weird seaweed golem critter? Do these seaweed golems every play dominoes at all? Or snap?"

Crimsona said to you, "*in her normal british, alien, cryptic accent*Lava is like the molten stuff in Volcanoes, on my way here, I had lost all my things and wondered if they might have fallen in this land, I have also two sisters, one named Scorcha Infernus Flametongue, and the other Enferno Pyrossa Flametongue, whose whereabouts are unknown, weather they are still in Volcanoss, or coming here. Also a lady named Sophie that I spoke with earlier mentioned a Catseye Ruby Pendant, Rubies are our trademark Jewel in Volcanoss, our land is hot all the time and this land is widely perferred ove it empress Rowen. *grins*"

Rowen said to Crimsona, "You still haven't told me whether these funny seaweed golems play dominoes or snap. Do try to keep up with the conversation my dear. It really can't be that much beyond the limits of your mental faculties, after all even children can play both dominoes and snap.""

Crimsona said to you, "Seaweed Golems? never heard of that so I would not know Rowen, however in Volcanoss, we do have Lava Golems and Fire Golems, there is no such thing as seaweed on our homeland, so these Seaweed Golems are an entirely newthing to me my dear."

"Bring me twelve of your finest quality geese and a xylophone. At once!"

Rowen said to Crimsona, "I see well I suppose you can't really be blamed for the paucity of the culture of your native land. At least here you shall be well educated. Education reforms are one of my greatest achievements as empress." The little rat spins around on the spot with excitement. "Bring me twelve of your finest quality geese and a xylophone. At once!"

Crimsona is now clueless about the geese and xylophone statement and shakes her head "you are confusing me miss, I am a darkfire pyromantess and a healer, I have no geese or musical instruments, I have not been here long, are you perhaps a magical educator?" she had asked the seemingly confused rat as the dark phoenix was confused as she saw the rat spinning around and said "We do have education in Volcanoss, albeit in caverns." she stated to the rat.

Rowen said, "You can't go leaving all your education in caverns! You have to get it into people's heads where it can do them some good! It is no wonder you are so ignorant you did not even know I was the supreme empress when first we met, if such is the mis-guided educational policy of your homeland."

Crimsona said, "Our race is highly intelligent, however, our land does not spread into various elements or things like thse lands do, I had never heard of this land till I was sent here, our land is fire and lava with stones, caverns, and rocks and not the wood or grass or things this land has, we have huge caverns and volcanos, and I am all fine for a building, as long as it is made of rock and has fire and lava that is, sometimes we took trips outside of the caverns, my ride of learning in volcanoss was by no means easy Rowen." the dark phoenix stated to Rowen and added "Most of my spells took me time to learn, its no walk in the park in Volcanoss."

Rowen nods in understanding "Well it can't be a walk in the park if you don't have any parks just fire and that seaweed bread stuff, what's it called again? Lava? How ever do you learn anything there if, as you say, the educational authorities keep all the education locked up in caverns instead of putting in into the heads of the fine intelligent people?"

Crimsona nods back "Yes it is Lava, the skies are always reddish colored, most of the things of Volcanoss are not normal in these lands, our race is highly intelligent, we have trees, however, no wood, just rocks, about the caverns dear, Volcanoss was created like that, who or what made our planet long ago I dont know, we even fish and swim in lava, yeah I know it's strange having things and studies in Caverns instead of houses or places like your land does, I am still new in these lands, instead of normal rain like you have here, we have lava and fire rain as well as meteor showers in Volcanoss, I was the first of our race and of Volcanoss to be sent here, I am hoping more will come here so we can learn this lands things, and so far the few new things that I have known or learn interest me, I am sent here to expand my horizons and to spread and teach too lady Rowen, I know its hard for you of this land to believe, but if you were born in Volcanoss, it be normal to you my dear."

Rowen asks "If you have no wood, of what substance are the trunks of the trees which grow? Can you see the wood for the trees?"

Crimsona answered. "Yes, I know wood exists, however, it is hard to come by in Volcanoss and generally would be Fire Wood or Laval Wood if such." she tried to answer the rat the best she could. "Stone is the substance of our trees in Volcanoss."

Rowen said, "Ah that makes sense if your tree trunks were made from wood, then they would all soon be Ash trees, is it not so? Please do excuse me I have to prepare for a state visit to one of the parallel universes. Lots of tedious pomp and ceremony, but I must do my duty, for the good of my beloved subjects."

Crimsona said, "Indeed Rowen dear, and yes it would be ash trees, we are known for our burning ash, and if you are traveling to universes, should you by chance find Volcanoss, you have better had protection gear on and have something showing that you know me there . She summons a stone and uses her finger to write her name in flames on there and gives it to Rowen just in case.

Rowen said, "Oh is this Volcanoss in another universe then? I had understood you to mean it was on another planet in this universe. If it is in a completely diferent universe, that explains why you had never heard of me, after all I rule but this one universe, not the entire multiverse."

Crimsona said, "Indeed it is way far away from here, we always write on stones using our fingers, the writings are always in flames, so use that I gave you and put on some gear should you choose to try and find my home planet so that you have proof that you know me, should you by chance see either of my sisters, show them that and if they need it, see if you can help them get here please."

The rat hurries off to prepare for her state visit( which only exists in her deluded little mind) the imperial hamsterball, recently engraved in memory of dear Cornelius the dandy needs polishing.
