Desparrow got injured in a duel

Desparrow told you, "*hangs head in shame* Good morning m'lady. I am sad, for I have lost a duel with an opponenet last night."

You told Desparrow, "I am saddened to hear that my brave friend. I am as you know a healer, have you any injuries I can attend to for you , sir?"

Desparrow told you, ""I do have a few that I would like not to remember. I have several lupine claw scars on my back. They are fresh and do hurt badly. Would you please take care of them?"

Oweorcyn said OOC, "I could get in. I could walk right through the front door.. I could throw a white sheet over my head and I would pass as a wraith and get by the guards. We could circle in black dots for eyes and draw an evil face expression, you know fanged mouth?"

Desparrow told you, "Just let me know when would be best for you m'lady"

Sophie offer to treat him at her shop

You told Desparrow, "But of course sir, but of course. I am currently in my shop, I can treat you in the back room, would that be acceptable?

Sophie smiles gently at her brave friend, now for a short while also her patient. "I have wiped down the table in the back room with antiseptic herbs, and dried it for you sir. Would you care to lie down on your front, and remove your shirt that I may clean and treat the claw wounds?"

Desparrow nodded, only a little shy to remove his shirt for a woman as beautiful as she. He also removed his shoulder pads, and any other obstructive clothing that may inhibit the full healing. He walked over to the back table and lay on it, his abdomen pressed against the surface. He was acutely aware and ashamed that Sophie may see the scar that ran through his pants, Carved an 'A' meaning Atyoa. He also hoped she didn't notice the burns on his shins from Atyoa's frostbite magic. He wanted those as a reminder of how he made a mistake to underestimate his opponent. Desparrow turned his head to the side to be more comfortable and closed his eyes

Sanichel thinks his mother is perfect

Sophie's tiny 3" tall adopted pixie son Sanmichel flies into the room as his mother is preparing clean cloths and anti-septic wound cleaning mixture. The lad flies over to near Desparrow's head. "Don't you worry about a thing mister! My mom is THE greatest healer who ever lived, and I am here to protect you too. I am Sanmichel the famous, valiant pixie knight." Sophie smiles at her son's praise. "I am far from the greatest healer who ever lived Sanny, but it is good to know you believe in me my dear." She gazes sympathetically at that cruel marked, the 'A' carved into her friend's hip, "Sir, I have such barbarbarically inflinted marks my self, from when I was a helpless captaive, a brutally tortured slave of the drow, please feel no shame in my presence, sir. It is the cruel one who so marked you that abhors me." She pauses before beginning to gently clean his wounds. "This will hurt some, I am afraid."

Desparrow opened his eyes at the small boy, very small boy and smiles slightly "That is good to know my boy, I am counting on it." He chuckled softly and then reclosed his eyes. He steeled himself for the worst of the pain, but felt assured that it couldn't be worse than how he felt the previous day when his flesh was unthawing form the heat and cold attacks he was receiving. "I sympathize with you m'lady, I understand the cruel life of being in captivity. I plan on ending such tyranny in this land. Perhaps in others. And I left my mark on that beast, he can no longer become a werewolf, only a simple wolf and human. I purified his evil heart and made it so he can no longer transform." He chuckled again and remained quiet the rest of the time

Sophie works as gently as she can to carefully, thouroughly clean the gashes in the man's back, making a mental note that this would not be a good time to reveal that she is herself a wolf, having been bitten some years previously. She winces in sympathy knowing no matter how much care she takes her efforts will cause him pain, but cleaning the lacerations is very important to prevent infection. The healer calls to little Sanmichel "Please ask you brother Guerin to find some new, untorn clothes for our friend in the clothing rails. No charge."

Desparrow feels soothed by the touch of the gentle elf. "I thank you m'lady. That would be very nice. I have nothing against the creatures of the night, but I will not stand for evil in any form. I am obligated to purify the hearts of darkness and end the spread of the evil plague in all lands that I come to. It is just that something has brought me here. I don't know what it is and I hope that I find out once my work here with this Vuryal is complete."

Sophi nods in understanding though the man will be unable to see the gesture from the position he is in. "I understand sir, I hate evil, and violence in all it's forms. I worship the gods of light, such as Kanos. You passed through the Temple of Kanos to reach my shop. Having finished cleaning the cuts on her patient's back. The druid healer gently lays her hands upon his shoulders. She concentrates, gathering a little life enegry from the deizens of Craughmoyle, and also from the plants and animals which inhabit the slopes of the Xalious mountains above them. Never taking more that each can spare, she channels them into the cruel gashes on her friend's back, causing the flesh, to slowly knit together and heal. Another child about ten years of age enters carrying some neatly folded new clothes which he hands to Desparrow."There is another room through there, where you can get changed in privacy." Then turning to his mother, Young Guerin asks "Can I join the scouts in Cenril mom?"

You gave 1 black shirt to Desparrow. You gave 1 white-mages robes to Desparrow.

"Thank you m'lady. I am in debt to you further

Desparrow winced only slightly, almost imperceptably as his flesh came together. When she was done he got up and graciously accepted the clothes and went into the other room and changed into the fresh linen and was going to throw away the old bloody clothes that had become shreds. The mage came out with the fresh shirt on and bowed to Sophie, "Thank you m'lady. I am in debt to you further, but I appreciate all that you have done for me so far already."

Sophie asks "Are the mages robes to your liking sir? Do they fit well? Or should I ask my son to fetch you some leather armour, perhaps? The gentle elf is concerncerd for the safety of her friend as it seems he still intent on challenging Vuryal. "Sir, please be careful. I have attended far, far too many funerals of good people of late. I know nothing of the wolf you fought, but i -do- know that teh tyrant Vuryal is far more powerful than any lycan. " She hesistates then shyly adds, "I have something to show you sir. The frail, elf pulls down the shoulder of her own robe a little to show a mark on her upper arm, where a red hot brand was cruelly pressed into her skin to mark her as the property of a drow house. Then, pulling the robes down a little at the back, she shows the man many, many hundreds of old scars from the times the slave was whipped mercilessly. "I...I just wanted you to know ...I have some understanding of being marked by evil sir..." She is blushing.

Desparrow nods, his skin turning red only slightly out of primal lust but remembering his oath and upon seeing the scars he was filled with a primal hate. He knew that once he was finished with this vuryal that nothing like this would ever happen again. "I do like the robes, but I am sorry to say that they are not my type. I am a mage, but I fight for a living. But I will accept this gift. I will wear it until I have found the funds to buy more clothing, then I will pay you back for all you have done to me. And perhaps I can find a way to remove those horrors from your body and make you perfect once more."

The healer smiles gently. "The scars upon my body are of no great consequence sir. What is important about any being is the content of their heart, their character." Little Sanmichel chirps up. "No mean drows are ever going to hurt you again mom, cause now you have the brave pixie Knight Sanmichel as your champion." The tiny pixie child is turning somersaults in the air. "Do you like sharks, mister? Mom has some baby sharks in her shop, they are awesome, she is going to keep one for me too. Would you like to see them mister?"

Desparrow grins at the child's antics and his excitement. "Sure I would love to see some baby sharks." he moved over to the pixie child. "Where are these baby sharks my small knight friend?"

The apparently human lad ( though in fact he is also a lycan) Guerin chirps up. They are on display. I'll bring them to show you! The larger boy soon returns carefully carrying a fishbowl of tiny sharks which he places on the table where Sophie had treated Desparrow. Little Sanmichel is chatting away incessantly. "Sharks are one of the bestest things in the world, sharks and hamsters. Did I tell you about the time I found a magical shark swimming in my cup of tea, mister?"

Desparrow whispered to you, "I can make him big for you m'lady, I have a spell that can do such"

You dropped 1 Fishbowl of Baby Shark.

Desparrow nods, purely interested in the small child. "I don't believe I ever did hear you tell me about the shark and the tea cup. That would be nice to see."He turns to the fishbowl of sharks and looks at them, "How small they are, I have never seen one before but these seem viciously unnatural. They are quite cute."

Sophie whispered to Desparrow, "I believe that many pixies with skills ni magic, when they are grown up learn a spell to transform themselves to human size when it is convenient to deal with us big folks. Thea and Gwenilyn both have this ability. So far as I am aware Sanny is happy being a normal sized pixie lad, but feel free to make the offer to him, he may be only seven, but I trust him to know his own mind on this matter."

Desparrow leans over to Sanmichel and whispers softly so as not to harm the boy's ears. "I have a spell in my book that will make you human size, then you can protect you mum from anything you want. It will be a big help, you will still be able to fly as well. No back fires or anything wrong could happen. You will just be as big as us."

Little Sanmichel thinks this over. "I had always planned to learn the pixie enlargement magic when I was older, but I wouldn't want to be a great big person ALL the time. Why then I wouldn't be able to ride my valiant warhamster Champion. Have you met Champion mister? Would you like to see my noble steed?"

Desparrow grins, "alright then, but I do have to get going, so perhaps next time I can meet your war hamster. That would be a nice thing to see. " He nodded to the boy and to the other boy and stood. "I must get going my lady, I have things I must attend to before I take a small journey. May the Goddess be with you always."
