RP:Coming Into Funds
Tyler moves aimlessly through the battered path of Kelay Way. The human doing little more than enjoying a bit of sunlight when a ruckus can be heard from the east. He, along with other travelers are all eyes and ears when a band of three outlaws, one drow, one human and a dwarf come around the bend leading from Cenril. Each of the fleeing men carry multiple brown pouches and sack, undeniably full of wonderful coin. Not long after they appear in the way, a patrol of mounted guards are hot on their trail.
People in the way begin to panic and shout. Some cheering for the fugitives while the other praise the guards. It isn't long before the trio are passing Tyler's location and one vigilante Kelay man extends his leg in the path of the fleeing dwarf. The stout bearded man tumbles to the ground. The massive sack he carried over his shoulder drops to the ground and spills a massive golden amount of golden coins into the way, along with three smaller pouches and a medium one. He's cursing death threats to his assailant while the other two from his team call out for the dwarf to leave his loot. Eventually relenting after getting a shirt full of gold, the dwarf continues fleeing.
The sight of the money is too much for the good people of Kelay to pass up as even the single man who tripped the dwarf dives onto his hands and knees and grabs at the coin. Tyler, like any man, is tempted by the instant riches but doesn't dare jump into the pile before him. Instead, he notes the smaller pouches on the ground and quickly snags the medium one and one of the smaller ones before diving into the Kelay Shop just as the guards race past, a few stopping to arrest and disband the people in the way taking the loot.
Inside the shop Tyler takes a second to peek inside each of his bags. His eyes light up bright as he finds a wealthy sum of Gold and Silver, more than he could have ever hoped for. Forgetting where he was he glances up to see Crialla staring at him with an initially judgmental gaze, but upon seeing the gold a smile quickly comes over the young woman's face as she calls out in a light hearted tone; "What can I get ya', love?"
