RP:Chaos unfolds in Gamorg

Gamorg City of Ogres

The legends do not do this location justice. Straddling the dark hills of the Bad Lands is Gamorg the city of Ogres. Many ramshackle huts have been thoughtlessly thrown up onto the landscape by the rough hands of hundreds of ogre's troll's orc's and goblin slaves. There is no other place like this, the air is damp and foul smelling; filled with the stench of hundreds of years of decay and many thousands of tons of troll dung which is used as cement for many of the buildings. Standing defiantly on a hill to the North West is a large spiky rough square structure which is most likely a primitive fortification. Not much can be seen to the east but the smell suggests more trolls. To your infinite surprise in this obscenely foul and ruined place there is civilization the primary species of ogres and orc's appear to be bartering in the street, as well as fighting, arguing drinking swearing and other things too foul to mention, welcome to Gamorg homeland of the Ogres.

Iktomi is walking around the streets of this filthy city, clad in leather lined with wolf fur. In hand is a spear and on her arm is a shield with matching bracers to go with it. The people of this town do nothing to her, unlike the poor gal who is screaming in the distance. Her face is all in shadow except for the lower half, so her amber eyes cannot be seen. She seems to walk with a bit of power and pride in her step, something most do not do in this city.

Balatro entered the town, eyes wandering about curiously to see the work of his previous mischief. Instead of his human form, he was in that of a small red fox and sat within the shadows of the city. Optic picking up the feline who was being left alone, a cruel smile appeared as he began to cast a small illusion about her in jest. Suddenly two ogres appeared before her, each one standing in her path as they spoke in their broken english. The problem with these ogres and seeing through the illusion easily was that, the stench of the town made it near impossible for anyone to tell who really made what stink.. The ogres' beady eyes looked down upon the feline, "You dum, you no walk like dat here. Not ogre, only ogre walk like dat here." As the two ogres spoke, their fat little fingers came down to prod Iktomi upon her shoulder, should she continue to fall for the illusion, suddenly a very real finger would feel as if it was touching her.

Iktomi stops and just stands there as he is spoken to. With a slight curl of her lips, she smiles and tilts her head to the side, "If I am not mistaken, none of the others have a problem and neither does King Gorkall. All in this city know who and what I am to Gorkall, so something tells me you are not from this city." She hisses and jumps back quickly, her spear gripped tightly and her lion like ears picking up on any unfamiliar sounds in the city. her sensitive nose catches a scent she has not smelled before and it causes her to growl and speak allowed, "Who ever you are, your little illusions will not work on me. You are not from thsi city and are considered an outsider. outsiders are not welcome here." She hissed and looked around, finding the little fox and facing him.

Reeni 's footsteps were quite a bit of ways before entering the city. Charcoal ears flicked back in aware for she has stumbled upon a most horrific village. Creatures the size of three strong men roamed about, their skin the color of leaves themselves--some were of a different shade. The sight was a bit scary in Reeni's eyes, her lids widening. An ear twitched to the voice of another shouting out 'outsiders are not welcome'. What could that possibly mean? Obviously this calico cat would have to undergo some hostility--ogres were never of a passive nature nor reasonable. Eyes darted to the distant figure. . .queer, it was a woman. Not only was she she a woman but a hybrid of some kind. From Reeni's distance she could not quite see exactly what Iktomi was nor did she spot the minuscule fox. Reeni did one of many things, which was stop immediately before entering any further. . .also she had to clamp her nose--the stench was atrocious. For now, Reeni remained on the outskirts of town, a mere spectator of such until noticed.

Balatro looked innocently at Iktomi, holding up his injured paw and whining like a small dog. Limping forward a few steps before collapsing upon the ground, the foxling obviously had something devious plan should anyone know who he was. Laying upon the ground, his nose sniffed, and being a lycan he had a better sense of smell then any feline or other race except maybe pixie about. His ears perked up ever so slightly as Reeni's faint stench wafted into his nostrils

Iktomi caught the sight of the feline approaching, but she gave all her attention to the fox and who ever might be in the area casting the illusions. The Orcs, Ogres and Trolls seem to look on to Iktomi, expecting a bit from her but hten they focus on the new feline, a look of lust and rage in thier eyes. As for the fox, well, Iktomi was not light hearted like others and she only growled and kicked a rock at the fox, "Scram! Little critters like you are what I eat for dinner and bring to these beasts here." With ease, she jumps on top of one of the many huts and looks over the area, growling and looking for hte one who caused the illusions. Something is wrong and Iktomi did not like it, though she couldn't help but think of what the beasts in this city would like to do to Reeni.

Reeni 's ears immediately perked up to their fullest. She had heard the low feral grumbles of their rage and possible lust of Reeni--not like it was of a sexual desire. . most likely the rumbling in their tummy. As for the poor kitty cat, Reeni took a quick step back to retrieve something out of her bag. Oddly she held onto a stick, not more than three feet in length and the width being just right to grip onto firmly. Although Reeni may look small in comparison to these monstrous beasts, she could hold her on. Emerald gaze continued to stay onto Iktomi, her scent riding with the quick breeze that lifted...more than just her scent that is. Feces, decay, bile, you name it! Boy did it reek. So far everyone seemed to be at a standstill, lest those creatures come barreling down toward her. Hostility just everywhere! Goodness my!

Balatro limped behind the building as the feline decided to bellow commands everywhere. His eyes lit up with excitement as the woman thought she could tell him off. Hiding out of sight, eyes focused upon the ogres who were barreling towards Reeni, intent upon pummeling the poor feline. The magic flowed through him as suddenly two mischevious turtles began to cross the road and as the ogres approached sunk into their shell and burrowed slightly into the ground. The ogres began to trip and crash upon the animals as they were passing by. The first ogre who tripped seemed to have caused a chain reaction, until soon a very large pile of fat beasts lay upon the ground. The snickering fox sat in the darkness, watching the scene with the utmost excitement as tremors could be felt from the earth by the massive weight of the collected men.

Iktomi watched Reeni fro mteh top of the hut and even yelled out to her, "If I were you, house cat, I would leave this city before these boys tear you up. I have little control over them and i will not command my King's men." Still, she had an advantage here in the city, she was the King's mate, and the beasts of thsi city listened to her slightly and never messed with her, that is how she knew something was wrong because even Ogres from outside the city would know to leave Iktomi alone. upon seeing the sight of the stumbling Ogre's she hissed in frustration, "Get up you beasts! This is not how you would be if Gorkall was here. Either kill the feline, or find out who is intruding upon our city!" The beasts got up quickly and looked around, clearing the area for Iktomi to look over. She hissed to herself and jumped to another hut, moving closer to Reeni and farther away from the foxy meal she could be enjoying.

Reeni 's brows had furrowed into displeasure once hearing herself be called a 'house cat', if only that woman had known what this particular feline had been through for the past two years. Gaze unlatched itself from Iktomi to study the rumbling idiots ahead of her, then peculiar turtles came out from thin air..er rather they were crossing the road. For some reason that made her think of that incessant cluck clucking chicken. . Halting herself from making a move, Reeni witnessed the domino effect--very funny it was. A smirk etched out onto her visage along with a few small giggles. "My dear lady your beasts seem to not be coordinated nor do I believe one could slay me," she bellowed out to Iktomi, a bit of sting with it. Brows would only furrow more watching as the woman came closer.

Gorkall had been travelling from the bays of Cenril from his meeting with the white healer and his personal pet; Lisi. The Ogre had mostly been enjoying the silent cool fall evening. Until he reached the edge of the great fog forest. The sounds of war crys echoed out from his city. Worry flooding through the behemoths mind as he burst into a sprint the rest of the way home. Upon making it to the entrance of his city the Ogre found a rather disturbing display about the masses. Confused at first Gorkall scanned over the horde and caught sight of his mate Iktomi in a furious stance. His dull-gray gaze quickly settled upon a stranger in his land. The Ogre opened his mouth from behind the demon maw and released a blood-chilling roar that silenced the city of Ogre. The massive green skin moved forward clinching his fists tightly as he growled beneath his throat. A shout given to the outsider that plagued Gamorg on this eve. "Who dare defiles the City of Ogres with their presense without the approval of myself or my people!" Gorkall reached a close distance between the outsider and grinded his teeth heavily popping his jaw. His eyes set to Reeni as he heard her final words to Iktomi. "Oh? You dare speak of my warriors with such ignorance! Perhaps you may be high and mighty to the civilians of this city but you shall kneel before their champion and king to be else you will find your hide ripped from you and turned into mere apperal and meat!" The Ogre peeled his visage back into a terrifying snarl revealing spiked teeth that held the stains of blood about them. He awaited the response of Reeni as his breathing grew heavy sending thick clouds of smoke into the atmosphere.

Balatro could not help but snicker inside his head, the sight was becoming more and more amusing by the second. Not only was he hidden from sight and mind, along with his smell covered by the ogre's overwhelming stench, but now someone else was going to take the blame for all this. Suddenly a thought snapped into his mind, as the ogre who had punched him from the other day, the blue, appeared as his illusion shouting above the crowds. "Jester!" His fat fingered pointed at Reeni, a sneer upon his ugly face. Yes, the trickster was now pinning all crimes he had commited just days prior upon the unfortunate feline and figured he would be able to get away with it as no one was focused upon his illusion. In fact, unless people had a -very- good reason, this illusion would probably be near uncatchable due to the immensity of the situation. As the blue one continued shouting, accusing the feline, the prankster decided he would perhaps give her a chance of escape. And, in an attempt to distract the others further, two ogres appeared within the crowd, dancing the can-can.. Why? merely a distraction to be ruled out an illusion while the feline would take advantage of it and run.. Hopefully..

Iktomi growls and looks to Reeni, "They are not mine, therefor they do not listen to me. Its best you leave this city or fall prey to all here." Iktomi hated when others would not head her warning, but Gorkall would be here before to long. The lioness silenced herself and smiled at the roar, and quickly jumped off the hut and made her way to him and stood beside him in her usual attire. Her shield is still held close to her and her spear gripped tightly, "Gorkall, she is not hte only threat to thsi place. There is another here, and the illusions they created gave it away. Be careful and be on the look out." Her ears twitched and turned to every out of place sound causing the feline to tense up adn hiss every so often. As she speaks, it on'y prooves that she is right and that none are safe while the illuionist is in hiding and playing tricks on them.

Reeni was far from taken aback, more like thrown into a whole universe all together. Eyes widened to the rather large beast who towered above the five foot five woman. Within seconds a bit of rage had actually began to build up as her tail flicked itself continuously back and forth. Gaze shifted up and down amongst that Ogre King. . .whom she had never even heard of. In fact Reeni had never even seen this village nor took three steps within its boundaries--what another predicament the feline got herself into. Ears folded down in a painful manner while eyes flinched closed. .the scream was quite thunderous and ear-splitting. When Gorkall had ceased his threats and vicious intents towards the innocent Reeni, her stare would pull off more harm than her speech, "Good Sir, I have done nothing to uproar your. . .'men', if that is what you call them." Another shout was heard as the name 'Jester' continued over and over along with other miscellaneous happenings. The can-can. .? What in the name of Sven was going on!? Reeni had thought, the grinding of Gorkall's teeth just irritating and raising Reeni's irritation to vexation. "Jester? I am no clown either!" Reeni soon would have to shout to the top of her lungs, the surrounding sounds just blaring. As for the stick that was still held by Reeni, it remained poised and ready if needed to be used--one never knows about these ogres and beasts. Iktomi then settled herself next to the massive creature. .Before causing anymore drama betwixt the two, the cat held onto her own tongue until threatened further.

Gorkall was growing irritated by the chaos that had begun to unfold amongst Gamorg. He listened first to Iktomi, than Reeni and finally the blue magi in the back. The Ogre had enough he turned to the citizens of Gamorg and released another blood-thirsty roar. Causing the earth to vibrate beneath the waves. "Everyone to your homes! Now!" The true citizens of Gamorg cursed and scolded Gorkall before fleeing into the countless rubbish huts and to Dak's tavern. The Ogre gave the blue magi a specific stare. The very same Ogre had just explained to Gorkall that the 'jester' took the form of a foxling, not a feline. He twitched as he raised his hand to point to the blue magi. "You stay where you stand, Blue one." He nodded to Iktomi ordering a silent command for the woman to stay with the blue Ogre to ensure he followed Gorkall's command. He then turned back to Reeni and examined her closely. He wasn't as foolish as most of the green skinned brutes of Gamorg. He was much smaller in stature and held a higher intellect which is why he kept his rule. He eyed over the woman for a moment before speaking to her in a low, cautious voice. "Why do you come to the land of the Ogres? Why do you cause chaos in your wake? Do you have a death wish or are you simply insane?" The Ogre reached out with a gauntlet covered hand and placed it on her shoulder giving it a firm squeeze that would cause pressure on her bone. "I suggest you find your way out of here before I take you to our prison, or better yet the gallows of the great Fog forest." The horned Ogre gave Reeni a defying stare. He didn't wish to harm this feline on this evening and he had just released Lisi into slavery from the Prison on the previous eve. The troubles of Gamorg were growing greater by the day with the attacks of the true jester still at hand and now this opposing feline making an unannouced visit to quite possibly the least appealable city on the face of Hollow.

Balatro continued to sit amungst the shadows, the scene unfolding not quite how he had hoped. As the blue sat back as his king had commanded he began to stutter, "Well uhh, me no know different animal well. It look like small, bout dat height dere and urr, it had tail and ears like dat one." The ogre was having difficulty speaking to his king, which most ogres would as they had lesser intellects. As the ogre spoke the true Jester went to work as his form began to shift. Suddenly where he sat was a naked humanish kind of person, yet his shifting did not cease. As hair began to sprout out, a maw grew upon his face and suddenly, he began to look very much like a werewolf, cept more fox like features. As suddenly as the form ceased it's shifting, a loud howl was released into the air, as if the foxling was howling at the moon if for only a mere distraction. His pack ways from childhood had not gone entirely unforgotten. Suddenly, he burst forth from the shadows, bounding towards Reeni upon two feet. His shoulders were held at about her waist level, as he slammed into her body, releasing her shoulder from Gorkall's grasp and continued forth, rushing for the trees and towards the cover of the fog. Why was the feral beast grabbing the feline, his intentions were unknown, but what would be for certain is that the blue one disappeared in a puff of smoke and unless someone acted quickly, both him and Reeni would be long gone. (ooc, I has permission from Reeni to auto-hit her like dat ^.^)

Iktomi grolwed at the outsiders words and the shouts of Jester only made her snicker under her breath, only so Gorkall could hear it. With a nod of her head, she stays with the Blue one, her guard up and watching the beast closely, Gorkall being watched out of the corner of her eye. Her fur was standing on end and her body shakes with rage. The blue one was bigger than her for now, but if he dare challenge her, well, she would take to her beastly form and that would put her closer in size and strength. Remembering something, she spoke up to Gorkall, innterupting him slightly, "There is a fox running around the city, if that means anything." Her voice was full of her rage and could be felt by Gorkall if he took the time to listen to her voice. At that moment, the Blue one shifted and it startled Itkomi causing her to drop her shield and weapon. In a blink of an eye, Itkomi was no where to be seen. In her place a pony sized lion with ridges down its back and nearly fifteen feet long, stood in her place. Large teeth bared at the shifting creature and just as he bounded toward Reeni, Iktomi leaped behind the feline, and if the foxling didn't stop, he would slam into Iktomi as well and come to a sudden hault, ceasing his escape to the Fog Forest.

Reeni --again sporadic things were happening, not to mention all were commencing in a blink of an eye. In all honesty how could one pick up all those distractions at once, in the eyes of Reeni one moment she was looking ahead at Gorkall, the next her body was in the hands of a furred creature. Also! Can you believe there is an also--Iktomi in the brief seconds of time had transformed into a lion herself. Dear me, Reeni simply wished for a cozy bottle of breathtaking whiskey mixed with some other sorts of poisons. If not for the catnapper's great speed and nick of timing he would have stumbled over the lion. Instead the feline felt a leap from the beast accommodating with the continuous thudding of his sprint. Reeni's surroundings then shifted into what seemed like the Fog Forest...the two beings she saw disappearing along with her hope of a normal night.

Gorkall stumbled back as the sudden lycanthrope raced towards Reeni. The Ogre taking note of Iktomi and he yelled in a firm voice. "Iktomi! No!" He grabbed at the massive lioness and with all of his strength pulled her back and tossed her to the ground below sending a cloud of dust into the sky. He looked out to the creature that retreated with Reeni and simply smirked as he looked back to Iktomi. "Let them go. They are not our problem. Not for now atleast. If the beast wishes to eat the feline, let it." He would then pick himself back up and give an apologetic stare to Iktomi for slamming her to the ground the way he did. A deep sigh was released as he pushed his hair back from his horns. "Come on... Let's go to Dak's and forget about this for now."

Balatro had infact leapt over the obstacle lion, only to find out she had already been removed from his path. As feet thudded against the ground once more, the foxling howled into the night air victoriously, as his furry form trudged on into the night carrying with him his newest...catch? They would eventually stop somewhere deep within fog forest, as ogre and iktomi left for Dak's. His eyes would then settle upon the girl who lay atop his shoulders and with a soft movement set her upon the ground. His intentions tonight, simply gaining her trust..

Iktomi snarled as she found herself being slammed into the ground. It didn't take her long to get back on her feet and release a roar, a roar that matched a dragons. She glared at Gorkall and snarled at him as he spoke. He was right, they were not their problem anymore. She relaxed and reverted to her elven form, dusting herself off. Luckily, Iktomi has learned to change form with her clothes or this would have been a problem. "You owe me. That hurt and you should have warned me first." She took his hand in her's and together they left for the tavern.
