RP:Antonio Visits Slintora

The Nameless Desert

Slintora was resting next to one of the pillars that belonged to the old temple. With eyes glazed over he seemed to just be gazing at the endless expanse of the desert. A nasty looking stab wound could be seen in his gut, not wearing anything but pants right now, the rest of his equipment lying next to him.

Antonio steps through the desert, it wasn't clear what brought him here, and gaze upon, he looks close too an illusion. Or a mirage. His ragged cloak billowing in the wind, stopping every once and a while to examine something he would see in the sand. The cloak ending in a hood covering his face in shadows, his full suit of armor present, even in the hellish heat. His cloak flutters out, not unlike an amazingly large pair of wings in proportion. He just stops at one point, the hood doesn't grant any insight to what he is staring at exactly.

Slintora sees something break the line of the horizon of the beautiful desert that he swore to rule as Pyroking. He didn't know exactly what it was at the moment, but hopefully it would come closer so he could get a better look at it. He couldn't get closer due to his injured leg. It was healing from what that electromancer did to it, but other than that he couldn't do much but wait. Thick orange locks covered over parts of his crimson hues, giving only slits of vision which was quite an annoyance, but it wouldn't matter till the subject of question was closer

Antonio fully draws himself up, as he takes himself back up, trailing too the figure he sees at some point. He stops no more than a total of ten feet from him, not exactly clear on what hes thinking about. He speaks after a few moments, nothing really said, and the wind, instead of taking his voice, seems to carry it, as all winds seem to. " You. " With that one word, he feels he summed up what he wanted to say. The scythe at his side, along with the long, ragged, almost bear-thread cloak, attributes him to death.

Slintora raises a brow, using his hand to lift the locks obscuring his vision. "You? We met once.. At the beach did we not?" He thought the visage was vaguely familiar. He himself was in bad shape and if this creature attacked then he would probably be in bad luck. That scythe looked intimidating, however none of this would be shown to him. "Welcome to this temple.. You would be my third visitor for today. I feel lucky. I hope you aren't here to collect one of the bounties on me.. It would be just my luck."

Antonio chuckles a little, the scythe is flipped, the blade pressed deep into the sand below him. He stares for a moment, " Maybe. Though we had such a lovely chat, it wouldn't be worth... Nullifying. " He chuckles a little, dropping down to sit in the sand, just as he was with the water. Crosslegged. " If I wanted to kill you. It wouldn't be over money. " He laughs lightly, before falling back in the sand, now that the sun is showing his face, its an expression of joy. For the most part.

Slintora nodded, grinning as the other sits down, "What brings you here?" he couldn't think of the name of the fellow right at the moment, but hopefully he wouldn't have to ask for it again, that was always embarrassing to some degree. Until then however he would stall and have just a small chit chat. He himself was glad for the event of company, especially one that he could talk business with.

Antonio he stares at the ground, before vaguely stating. " The sand. " And smiling a little more as he takes a handful of it, letting it drift free. " And what about you then? Besides getting your bounty.... Hounded. " He was staring at the ground the whole time he spoke, but finally he looks back up too Slintora. " I can't imagine you have the same motives as me. "

Slintora would like to stand, but didn't have the strength or the ability to do so at the moment. Thus he was forced to keep leaning his back on the column that gave him support. "I declared myself PyroKing. I am going to rule this desert. Plans are being laid out, and I will make a society of outcasts. We will prosper, and...." he stopped, eyes raising back to Antonio. "I am to rule this place.. It is now my home. I have left the forest for it cannot be mine.. yet."

Antonio laughs a little, its not mean, or even patronizing, more of self entertaining. " Well, here I am speaking with the future ruler. " He lolls his head back to stare right at him, " And how do you plan to own this play.... Fully? " Staring at the PyroKing. " One that I may possibly need to challenge. "

Raziel grins wider, "I plan on rebuilding all of this, restoring the city here to its former glory, and then I plan on building more! I will make this into an empire that will rival the Ice Queen. I will raise an army to take back the forests, and then I will melt that little glacier, flood the towns, and turn the desert into a giant oasis with the great bounty of water.

Antonio stands up after a moment, as he turns too look back at the desert with a little bit of a sigh. " So you're introducing water too a desert? " He tilts his head back, looking too him out of the corner of his vision, his voice sounds a little disappointed. " Seems I will be out too cut you down sooner or later. " He looks at the mans wounds. " Though, not today. You're a little to... Impaired. "

Slintora stares up at the sky, "Maybe I will.. Maybe I won't.. I do like the arid climate.. Perhaps I will leave it as it is.. I do however plan on expanding this desert. I want to overtake the sage. And Cenril. The bordering lands of this place. Would you not help me?" he offered, curious to know what the undead male had with the desert that he loved it so much.

Antonio stares at him, eyes begging for sleep, yearning for it, but maybe not for their own. " Sorry, I've lost interest in helping others. " He lost himself too other things, mind going back to something he remembered, but he shook his head free. " And why would you care for my help? "

Slintora sighs, "I am going to need as much help as I possibly can get. Eboric did this to me. Not only do I need to be stronger.. But I also need others to help me fend off those who would dare to interfere with the spreading of the desert. I don't want any unexpected surprises.. And I am sure you have some allies that would be able to be convinced to aid in a greater cause. Spreading of the wasteland perhaps?

Antonio clenches his hand the littlest bit. " Increasing the spread of a desolate environment a nice... Prospect. " He shrugs a little, " I'm not interested though, like I said, I may be cutting you down soon enough. " He stands, turning his scythe right side up, the blade gleaming wickedly in the blazing sun. His hood is put right back up, hiding his face. " I'm not worth any part of your army anyways. "

Slintora narrows his eyes slightly, "What do you mean? You aren't worth? You could command a garrison. I plan on raising an army of fire goblins and fire imps. they will charge forth without mercy, burning down the trees and then sowing the soil with salt. Nothing will grow for hundreds of years if ever." he grinned at that thought, ruling over the entire landscape.

Antonio shrugs simply, and laughs, a cold drawing laugh, " How about no? " Staring at him for a few moments, keeping from moving for a moment, before turning, the sand whipping around with his cloak. " Its possible it isn't worth my time. " As he starts to walk, " Or I'm not worth its... Realize, I plan to taste that soul. " He raises his scythe in a form of a goodbye, " When you can stand properly that is. "

Slintora chuckled, "Alright.. When I am able to stand that is.. just one request.. Don't tell anyone I am here.." he didn't need a mob on him right now. Not during this vulnerable moment.

Antonio he looks back a little, and says fairly simply, " I don't tell a lot of anything. You're safe. " He chuckles, hefting the scythes full weight on his back, the heat doesn't seem to keep on his armor, or his weapon. If anything, he looks... Cold.

Slintora nods, relieved, "Thanks. I guess I'll owe you one." he made a mental note, that he would do a favor for Antonio, should it ever come up that he needs something. His own attentions turned away from the male and to the temple behind him. He would have to raise it somehow...
