Letter to Lionel

The remaining guard returns with a box, a coffin, and a letter for Lionel. The box held the head of the black armored orc while the coffin held the killed guard, returned to Frostmaw to be buried with honor as a warrior.

Dear Lionel,

The head is to an orc that might've been in the company of what slain Henderson. At least he took this one with him. I sent you this head in hopes that you are able to identify the identity of this slain orc. If so, it might help in telling the nobles who is targeting them.

But this is the report: The road to the villa is safe. No encounters on the trip, and it was quiet. During the day I had the two explore and set traps around the villa. One enemy is confirmed killed via trap. It wasn't until night that three more entered through a tunnel, and unknown number entered elsewhere. The three in the tunnel were slain quickly. No major injuries to report. The cellar was set on fire, however after we evacuated everyone to safety we were able to put it out with only minor damage to the supporting structure. The alcohol was all destroyed.

Conclusion: I would be a fool if I didn't think they wouldn't come back. So with this letter comes a request for reinforcements and scouts. And maybe a crate of Frostmaw ale as an apology for destroying their wine storage. (That can come out of my pay.)
