Fight:Qatai v Riotka

From HollowWiki

Amazing View

The view here is outstanding, and as you gaze out over the edge you can see various familiar places in the distance, such as the sage forest and the xalious mountains below where you would believe the mines are nearly located close to Melbane. Keeping your footing you may travel along the cliff to the west, or head north.

Qatai wanders idly onto the cliff. The warrior holding his arms close to his chest trying to warm the cold blood that flows though his veins. The sudden sound of the snort alerting him to the presence of another. His eyes shoot up in a glare. Then he notices the bag. Unknowing of the contents he forms in his mind that even if they are of no value to the foreign assassin. Surly the merchants would find value in them. Putting his right leg forward the unskilled assassin attempts to draw the blade of his only weapon out slowly. The light of the moon flares off the naked blade upon its full release. Then green-scaled feet carry the preklek in a simple charge. Lowering the blade down to the ground, sparks ignite on the snow-dusted ground as the warrior draws ever closer. When the distance allows it, Qatai twists the blade so that the sharpened edge face the centaur before he raises the blade quickly wanting to put a gash into the underside of the steed’s stomach.

You 's slave steps back as the quick moving object from the corner of his eye adavance suddenly. The sparp digging pain stung and sent blood every where. Dropping the bag as he leans back aginst the tree. Anger mixed with rage as his eyes tint red. Reaching for his spear that now lied in the snow. Taking his wooden shaft in hand the moment it's point aimed at the attacker. Witha sudden flick of his arm the spear was launched. He Winced in pain as the deep gash relesed more blood unto the snow. The throw now that he looked at it was not as good as it could have been. His mind returned to putting his weight back to the other side retriving a small sword. He was feeling angery, this un provoked attack had unsettled him. He sucked the pain up and made a leap with sword in had at that bastard. 'If i may die, may the gods allow me to take him too.'

Qatai Had eyes of a truly untrained warrior as they left sight of his opponent watching the bag until it feels into its place in the snow. When a large flying object caught his sight from the corner of his eye, Qatai quickly turns his attention to where it should have never left. Lifting his blade up he deflects the on coming weapon from its intended target but the preklek failed to calculate the weight of the steed. Sparks light up the two blades as the centaur descends causing the blade to fall as well. At last stopping the blade with his wrist, the assassin sneers a slight bit as the teeth dig into his scales. Dropping to his knees then finally into a roll under the centaur, he runs towards the bag. Grabbing it on the run then hops the guardrail used to keep beings from falling of the edge of the cliff. Continuing in his run the assassin jumps with faith off the cliff.

You 's slave executed the attack but as he landed his energy ran out and his legs began to buckle under his weight as he began to lean on his weapon. His enemy rolled under him suddenly. As he turned he mind told his legs to turn yet they did not respond. His mind was caught off guard for a moment until he realized he was falling. He watched the dark figure leaping over the edge with a bag in hand. His body hits a tree, shoulder first and for a brief moment he allows himself to think that he may be able to stay up. Sliding down the side of the tree slowly to the snow it when he realized just how cold he was. Finally his head hits the snow softly and the centaur spies the trail of items that had fallen from the bag as he fled. Staring at them as the snow begins to cover his body. Sighing one last time he thought to himself; 'The Master will be most displeased with me....most displeased." deciding he was too tired to force his eyelids open any longer he closed them. "It's not so cold any more....". Then all was silent.
