• The Black Lotus Murders
  • Location: Venturil
  • Pay: 2000g
  • Difficulty: 1-2 players; 1-2 RPs
  • Classification: Basic Arts: Poisons and Potions
  • Description: An assassin has made themselves known in Venturil, leaving a black lotus flower in the mouth of their victims. While the murders are none of the guild’s concern, the flowers are of particular interest. Once the victim has been slain, and the flower put in their mouth, there’s hardly any time at all before the body reanimates--this only lasts for several minutes however before the body returns to its very much dead state. The black lotus is extremely rare, and for the assassin to leave it on so many victims means he must be cultivating it somewhere. Find him and find his stash of black lotus, so that the guild will have access to it to make potions of temporary reanimation.

• Call The Deadwife
  • Location: Kelay (House tile)
  • Pay: 2000g
  • Difficulty: 1-2 players; 1-2 RPs
  • Classification: Basic Arts: Basic Resurrection and Summoning
  • Description: A wealthy entrepreneur from Kelay has lost his wife to an unfortunate illness. In his distraught state, he’s hired a medium to contact his wife’s spirit so that he can talk to her again. The medium, however, is a fraud and is known to be such amongst the Necromancer’s Guild, for they employ the use of illusion magic and not necromancy. The widower has given a call to others that wish to speak with their loved ones that has passed on, allowing for a member of the guild to infiltrate the seance and out the medium, and their fake spirit-calling, once and for all.
  • Bonus: Schedule an appointment with the widower to help him speak with his wife for the last time, and ultimately showing him that there -are- people that can help with this sort of thing that aren’t frauds..
