History

This man's history is quite unique for some, and deemed an abomination for others; Mesdoram truly is, in all senses of the phrase, a 'dark elf.' Strictly speaking of his Hollow roots, Mesdoram traveled to Hollow around the upper age of 400. Although he was classified as a drow, the recessive traits as an elf cursed the man: instead of snowy locks, the man had golden hair; instead of ebony flesh, the paleness of the elven race plagued him; and instead of being called Mesdoram, the drow was known as Hawkeye.

Hawkeye's Tale:

Hawkeye Qu'isto was a drow who had the physical appearance of a common tree elf: strands of golden locks, white flesh, but had silvery eyes unlike the typical blue eyes of the elf. Hawkeye did not allow his tainted blood to effect his drowen temperament as he was constantly proving himself to the world. He was raised in a Harbor Town above the surface far away from Hollow, so the Underdark to the man remained quite a mystery to him. The man has an older brother, Vexar, who was also an elf until he was bitten by the vampire Lyra. The two brothers had a great impact on Hollow during their stay; they soon were approached by Movdon and the three formed 'Sin'. Hawkeye and Vexar fought many foes for a respectable time and were the last to remain in Sin. Even so, the last two representatives of Sin consistently reeked chaos to any who dared to challenge them. The two brothers have not spoken since the fall of Sin.

During the latter years, Hawkeye formed an interesting relationship with a woman named Atropos, one of the Lyastri. The two attempted to be with one another, but eventually the relationship faded as Atropos lost her memory and seemed to never get it back. This was Hawkeye's only love during his time in Hollow.

Hawkeye was a cursed drow who's self-tormenting of his appearance would have drove himself mad if not for the influence of Hemlock. The two first met in combat outside the Kelay Way Tavern; it was here where Hemlock challenged many people to duel him at once including Hawkeye, a 6 on 1 exhibition. After the bout, the drows aligned with on another as Hemlock took Hawkeye under his wing, teaching Hawk how to act and become more drow-like. Upon one of these sessions, Hemlock convinced that Hawk's facial features and the way he carried himself would eventually make him a full fledged drow. Before Hawkeye's sudden disappearance, and before Hemlock's death, the two went on a minor killing spree, challenging any and all who were foolish enough to fight back. Hawk's involvement in this event ended as quickly as it started; after his only death duel between an unknown elf, Hawk fled the land of Hollow in make his metamorphosis in private.

While traveling alone, Hawkeye came across a small town of elves. Fooled by Hawk's appearance, the elves mistakenly lowered their guard as the drow killed an unsuspecting elf; the cause of death - a slash from Hawkeye's broad sword. As the elves began to surround Hawkeye, the drow forcefully embedded his blade into the ground and shouted out a very vigorous battle cry. Tremors began to quake the foundation of the town, shaking violently as buildings began to topple and crumble over. Large rubble is all the remain of the town as debris showered over the pure carnage of mangled corpses and crushed bodies. Hawkeye's powerful spell knocked him out cold as the enormous power to destroy a town drained every ounce of energy from him; amongst the wreckage, he laid serenely with his blade inches away from his face. Although Hawk was inactive, the beginning if his transformation begins to happen as he mind and soul begin to reboot and recover the drowen dormant appearance.

As Hawk laid motionless, golden strands began to shorten as the pigment began to change to snow. His pale alabaster skin slowly darkened into the normal ebony color that drows have. There was nothing magical about this transformation, rather that a tattered brain began to decipher the dominant traits Hawkeye should of had at birth. When Hawkeye awoken, he had no recollection of the incident nor his own name. He could not tell you his roots nor if he had family; if his own brother were standing right in front of him, Hawkeye wouldn't have a clue. Pushing against the shakened earth, Hawkeye stood up his weary form and curiously scanned the surroundings. He glanced at his hands briefly and whipped unwanted dust with his ebony fingers. After dusting himself, the man ripped the buried brand from the earth, sheathed it in a beryl scabbard around his waist, and walked away from the destruction; unaware that it was him that caused this earthly disaster.

Description

Mesdoram is a devilish creature with an intimating form to follow. Usually draped in his battle attire, an earthly elemental broad sword rest securely in its beryl scabbard, the hilt's handle well in range of the drow's reach. Twin elemental dirks are hidden within the confines of the drow's charcoal robe. Mesdoram is among the biggest of drows, standing about 5'3 and around 140lbs; alabaster locks adorn his head, the strands complimenting his ebony skin. He is always looking for some confrontation to increase his prowess and abilities, and will challenge anyone. This spell blade is more gifted with enchantments than melee combat, but has been known to charge at opponents with his blades and use his agility to tire opponents.

Current Demeanor

Mesdoram's elven life is still unknown to him, and therefore carries himself as a typical drow. He nor his brother, Vexar, recognize each other as siblings, though both now find themselves a part of The Syndicate. He hates being bothered by strangers but loves a good fight. Mesdoram currently is not seeking past memories and has found his time occupied with being apart of The Syndicate and House D'Artes.

Abilities/Skills

Mesdoram is a highly gifted spell blade, mastering the elemental powers of earthly enchantments and a minor with watery spells. He prefers to use a long broad sword for his terrestrial attacks, and two daggers for watery wizardry.

  • His earthly skills, for the most part, has unlimited potential. When Mesdoram enhances his broad sword, he can manipulate the very foundation of the ground that he uses to his advantage very well: he can turn the ground to mush, create pillars of earth to form, cause tremors and cracks, manipulate debris to produce the intense temperatures of magma, levitate large chunks and fling them as projectiles.
    • Where he is limited isn't significant but practical. Mesdoram can manipulate, not create. For example, in a duel against Refrit, his opponent became covered in mud caused by an attack from Mesdoram. Mesdoram then manipulated the earth on Refrit's clothing to become extremely hot and threatened to disintegrate Refrit's legs. Mesdoram cannot simply set opponents in flames without cause. That is the main limitation: he can manipulate, not create.
  • His water skills are still under development, but uses them effictively when needed. Until gifted with Keter's Enchanted Elemental Twin Dirks from Patron Tiphareth, Mesdoram needed the aid of a 'starter' to enhance his daggers. This starter usually was simply pouring water on two normal daggers, and then he would mutter a spell to enchant his blade. With this upgrade in equipment, a need to pour water has become an afterthought.
    • As far as the specific skill set, Mesdoram can fling icy missiles towards opponents; the range of size for these icicles can be a swarm of shards to elongated lance-shape skewers. (although usually 1 at a time) With the same technique for a myriad of icy-shards, he can at the last instant melt the ice to intense temperatures, sometimes fooling opponents who would raise a shield to block projectiles and instead are met with scalding water to seer flesh. All other techniques will have to be learned.
