Description: Once a hardstone carving of amber shaped as a finely detailed human skull, now only the shattered and useless remains of amber scattered around Selene Island.

Magical Power: The skull can imprison a greater magical beast. At the time of its most recent discovery, a phoenix was imprisoned within the skull. The wielder may release the beast and try to command it to do the wielder's bidding, however the beast resents its imprisonment and will kill the wielder if given the chance.

History: One of six powerful artifacts of witch legend. Used in the ritual that resurrected Valrae Baines. The skull shattered in an enchantment ritual preformed by Valrae.
