Description
Wizards are a strange bunch. Always studious, yet never afraid of battle, they are skilled mages who have a penchant for fine hats, wands, robes, and trouble. Generally, they have a specific school of magedom which they prefer, though their magic is as varied as they are; due to what some would call innate stupidity, they are never afraid to try new spells or new arcane schools, making them unpredictable and dangerous in battle. Their magic is not limited to fighting, though, and it is not unknown for them to spend days preparing and casting powerful magic outside of combat.
Being amongst the most studious people in all the land, were they not so fond of finding trouble, most would spend their time quite happily living in libraries, reading up on obscure and forgotten magic, and studying arcane and historical secrets. But it's rare they are idle for long. It is their want in life to ensure things work in the right way. Good or evil usually means nothing to them, nor do the everyday matters of normal people. But if something is wrong in the world, at least by their perspective, there are few powers strong enough to stop them righting it.
They are known for their loyalty to the things which they believe are worthy, and stubbornness against everything else. They are related closely to mages; generally, if they follow a God, they follow Xalious, and as such are allowed entrance into the Mage's Guild.
This is just a general indication, though. Wizards are often varied and strange, the only thing known for sure is that they wear fine hats and prefer the usage of wands to the more traditional staves of other mages. Anything else... that depends entirely on the wizard... and good luck learning about it. They love secrets almost as much as they love books.
