Vambrace of the Sun - (Armor-wrist)

Description:

A series of crystals on the back of the vambrace lined with copper and runes set into the metal. Sunlight is gathered into the crystals and directed into a lens on the palm, allowing it to be re-emitted.. Mechanics, and runes, can adjust the beam of the lens. From a tight beam that can blast with searing heat to a gentle wide beam that's no more harmful then a lantern. The use of the vambrace is exactly one to one with gathered sunlight. Every minute in the sun is a minute's use, with increasing the beam's intensity eating up proportionally more light.

History:

Discovering an example of light storage in a shipwreck nearby Port Rynvale. What bits of the waterlogged device that could be salvaged were, and the item was destroyed in the process. Built anew, it serves a similar purpose, but done in Ranok's style of work.
