Kelay Way-Kelay: the most famous part of the land. Something is happening. But you don't know what and by the looks of all the villagers around, and their confused expressions, neither do they. For the moment though it seems relatively calm, whether it is the calm before the storm though is yet to be seen. Perhaps more can be found out in the tavern to the north? Perhaps shelter in the great cities to the east and west could be found as well? You ponder which direction you should take and wonder if it will lead you onto your destiny be that glory, or death.

Vidar wanders on though the small town, his javelin carried lightly as he moves. Tan skin is graced with pale blue ink, drawing attention up the lean, lightly armored figure of the high elf to those vibrant eyes almost white, with just the faintest hint of green in them. He stops long enough to gaze at Alara, whirling a light brown brow as he watches her.

Vidar looked at Alara. Alara feels eyes upon her and turns, a silver silk gown dragging the ground and covering her feet. Large silver wings unfold from behind her and a tail covered in silver scales coils up next to her as she studies the high elf. Being half dragon and half high elf, her body curves and her face show the elven half while all her dragon traits are shown in a display of silver. Grey eyes look over the being and silvery white hare falls over her shoulders and back. Lightly tanned skin sparkles in the sun light and she nods her head to Vidar and smiles slightly.

Vidar there's nothing short of a shocked smirk in response, he must have died and gone to some far greater plane of existence. He does find his graces, bowing slightly and murmuring a rather soft greeting in his northern inflection. " Ah' good day to ye miss."

Alara pulls a green lily from her hair, "Greetings good sir." She blew on the flower and green vines appeard over her arms, ending in a flower on her cheeks. They were just images, tattoos to decorate her body. Her cheeks flushed a deep pink, "What brings you to Kelay-Sage?" Vidar leans upon the double-pointed lance a little and gives a shrug." S' that's the name of this place eh? Interestin, I suppose ah'm jus travelin'. Alara said to Vidar, "Everyone has a reason to travel, but I will not ask more. It is none of my buisness. Though, it isn't every day that I meet another, especially an elf."

Vidar was a rather obvious sucker for a pretty woman, and this case was no different. He notices the tavern and yet looks further up the path towards a small almost homely restaurant . " Indeed, er might ye like t' join me for a bite to eat?" If he was stuck in these lands then he'd at least make a few acquaintances if little else.

Alara leans her head to the side, "Seeing as I have only arrived here a few days ago, I don't see why not. Is the tavern here fine, or do you want the more private resturant down the way?" She smiled and pointed to the place down the Way and gave a little curtsy.

Vidar said to Alara, "I prefer t' taste my food. -he smiles motioning down the way-"

Vidar exits west.

Resturant-The constant chink of wooden and glass plates is sounded. Stools have been pulled up to counter and tables, and constantly through a window near the door. The floor is boarded with mahogany slats, matching the ruddy color of the countertop, and nearly all else. Quaint and homely smells emit from the kitchen to the south, hidden behind big, red double doors. Upon each door is a windowed porthole. A list sits atop the counter, ready for your perusal.

Alara follows closely and upon entering the Resturant, she smiles once again and takes in the aroma of the different smells coming from the kitchen. "This is a cozy little place. I haven't been in here yet."

Vidar laughs a little, "Ah, well I 'ave never been here at all." The high born walks to small table pulling out a seat for Alara before moving to take one opposite her. His javelin is skewered almost calmly into the wood, near and yet not imposingly so to the table.

Alara sits in the offered chair, making sure that her feet remain covered. Her tail is pulled to the side and her wings are drapped over her shoulders for a more comfortable seat. The green lily is placed back into her hair and the images on her skin vanish from view. "Lets take a look at the menu and see what jumps out at us. I'm sure the food is good here, and I hope it is."

Vidar seems inclined to let Alara pick food, giving the pretty little half-breed a sheepish look. " Would y'mind ordering fer me? " he couldn't read common and this damn menu was covered with it.

Alara raised a brow and looked at the menu, picking out things that seemed good to her and hopefully him. "Lets see, they have a baked potato, cheese bread sounds good. If you are like me, I have to rely on meat to survive, so there is dark chicken and some honey ham. They have my favorite, honeydew and their drinks seem good. Coffee, milk and spring water, and the after dinner treats are chocolate-chip cookies and fudge. Both go good with milk." She sets the menu down and looks to the male, "Anything sound good to you? I myself will be getting the honeydew melon and possibly some water.

Vidar said to Alara, "chicken and tea I suppose? I'm not really much of a eater." Alara nods her head, "Most elves arent. But, being only half, I can have an appatite of a dragon." She places the order with a smile, and a few moments later, chicken and tea is set before the male and honeydew and water is placed before the female. Picking up a fork, she cuts the melon and tries it, to see if it is fresh or not. To her satisfaction it is and she waits for Vidar to tries his before continuing.

Vidar takes a bite of his chicken while smiling a little in spite of himself. " I hate to pry, but what has drawn you to this place?"

Alara smiles and begins eating away, then answers the question, "i have come a long ways in search of who my father is and I found him. A great silver dragon." She didn't answer it fully, but she answered enough for the other know why she is here.

Vidar tilts his head a little at the response but then allows the matter to drop, " I see, well I am happy for you to have found him." there is still that northerners taint to his speech and he gives a few golden coins to the waitress, paying for the meal. " I 'm sorreh, but I mus' go. Was a lovely lunch miss, thank ye for joinin' meh."

Alara said, "Anytime. Perhaps we can do it again if time allows us."

Vidar said to Alara, "Indeed."

Alara gets up and moves to the door, no look given to the man as she steps out the door and flies into the forest.
