General Description

  • Name: Vashja, High Priestess of the Hydrophiinae Naga
  • Age: Would look about 22 in human years.
  • Race: Sea-Serpent Naga but she most often appears in public in a human form.
  • Class: Mage
  • Sub-Class: Healer/Storm-Witch (situational)
  • Religion: Breaking from Naga tradition, she has chosen to worship Selene (Godess of the Sea) along with Aramoth (God of War, Creator of Naga).
  • Alignment: Neutral – She is really just concerned with herself, her people, and those non-naga that she calls friends.
  • Origin: An island in the warm waters a bit south-east of Rynvale. She has traveled to Alithrya but is not closely related to that breed of Naga.
  • Height: Standing, about 7 ½ft. Her torso is 3 ½ ft, with a 15ft tail. When in human form she is 5’7.
  • Build: Lean and muscular.
  • Skin: Her human skin is lightly tanned, the scales on her tail are banded black and blue.
  • Hair: Long, untamed waves of cerulean. In human disguise it is black.
  • Eyes: Light Carribean Blue. In humnan disguise it is a deep blue.
  • Markings: None yet!
  • Clothing: Not a fan of clothing, she usually wears just a corset or bikini top, and a skirt when in human form.. She does however like accessories, and often wears a seashell necklace and armlets. She always wears her coral ring, as it has an enchantment that allows her to take human form.
  • Personality: Sarcastic and intellectual, yet often very ‘goofy’. Some perceive her at overly blunt and honest. She can come across as uncaring or cold because of an often morbid sense of humor, but she is actually quite sensitive and kind.

Abilities

  • Spatiomancy: She has minor Spatiomancy skills that allow her to ‘phase’ through objects. She can also ‘phase’ objects and people, but nothing larger than herself. Due to this skill she is adept at repairing broken bones and other internal injuries.
  • Carnomancy: Another skill involved in her healing. She uses minor Carnomancy to repair flesh after removing organs or re-aligning bones. She can also use it to repair wounds as long as they are not inflicted by something that would not allow them to heal naturally.
  • Hydromancy: If she is in a large body of water she can create rain, waves, and riptides. This is due to her devotion to the Goddess of the Sea as well as the Sea Naga’s natural effinity toward the ocean. She will very seldom be seen using this ability as she’s only ever used it to prevent invaders from reaching her island.
  • Neurotoxin: As with most sea serpents, Vashja’s venom is a powerful neurotoxin which paralyses whoever she bites. Quickly making it hard for them to move and breath, it is an excellent defense for someone who doesn’t often fight.
  • Naginatajutsu: Most women on her island were trained in the art of wielding a naginata (pole-arm similar to a glaive or halberd). While female naga tend to research magic as opposed to learning physical offensive techniques, the Hydrophiinae encourage it as a form of self defense. Magic users, often not physically strong, benefit from the relatively balanced center of mass of the weapon. Those who are stronger physically even use its length to keep opponents away while chanting their spells. Vashja is by no means adept at this fighting style, but she has been practicing relentlessly as of late, fearing that her weak offensive skills may leave her vulnerable in the new land.

Current Events

  • Currently residing in Cenril when she's not training.
  • Wants to join the Mage's Guild and train under Satoshi. She wants to learn offensive magic.
  • Joined the Aphelion Coalition and has made a few friends there.
