Appearance:

On the taller side for her kind, Tsuola is 5'4. She has a lean build, though it lacks any muscle definition. Hair and skin are the same white to match the snow around her, with her hair falling down to her ankles and her skin splotched black in some places to mirror the black marks of the Winter Willow trees. These markings have changed over time just as the tree she is bound to changes with age and seasons, with her skin now being blackened from toe to knee, fingertips to just below the elbow. She has eyebrows now, as frosty white as her hair. Black markings are visible on her face, again mimicking the bark of her tree, but more decorative and symmetrical. Her eyes are a solid black, often staring, often unblinking.

The attire she owns is simple. A thick and grey, woolen cloak, and a thin white peplos that appears to be made of cotton, held together with brittle black vines and a piece of black cording, likely acquired from a hunter. The bowstring from Bone Chiller has been repurposed as a bracelet on her right wrist. She travels on bare feet.

Bio -

I remember the first time I saw beings that weren't the giants or the creatures native to this land. That encounter stirred within me the overwhelming desire to see the world beyond.

I awoke that morning beneath the light of Mother Sun, to the sound of crunching snow. Curiosity is in my nature, but the harshness of Frostmaw taught me to be careful. Not all can be what it appears to be. I emerged from the trees to find a clearing of chopped down trees, and strangers. Not the giants like I had known and seen for so long, but smaller folk. Folk closer to my size, my stature. Humans, elves, all sorts. Hunters, predominantly. A bard that carried a lyre. I kept my distance from them while the set up camp, until late in the night one of them approached me. A hunter, covered from toe to head in a mismatch of furs.

They were lost, said he, and I, believing I may be of assistance, offered to show them the way of these woods. Where the rabbits tended to burrow, how to crack holes in the ice of nearby Frysta just so to fish, and how to sink the cold away from their small tents by digging holes into the snow within. I tried my best to mend the injured and ill, but sometimes the sharp claws of winter claimed the stranger's lives as their own.

When my time among them ended, the hunter presented me with a lantern, so perhaps I could light the way for others who may find themselves lost in the frigid wilds. The lantern remains with me to this day, along with the gifts of the bard; The ability to read and write.

The encounter with these people, that hunter from so very long ago, woke a longing within me to see what lay beyond Frostmaw's ice and mountains. There is only so much one can glean from travelers, from the ink drawings and writings that fill the books in the strange library to the west. One day I will not be entirely bound to this place.

One day.
