Prologue

"The full moon shone above the trees on that frozen winter's night, but I barely noticed it at the time. My new-found rage had consumed me. I recall laughing to myself as I tried to remember, in vain, how this all began. I wanted to feel as though it was always him, with the blood-red eyes and the raven hair, the pallor incubus that tempted me to this fate. But I could not blame him for this destruction. It was my fault from the beginning. Even in my past, when I was not this cursed, corrupt non-soul, I was a horrible, horrible human. I did terrible things to the one I was meant to protect, and for those grave sins, this... This damnation is my punishment, my judgement, my burden to bear."

Lucrecia takes a breath and looks to you, silver eyes tinged with bloody stains of hunger around the edges. She huffs in vexation, "What else do you want to know? What else do you want to judge me for? You are no better..."

She stands in a graceful flourish, her lean and nimble limbs trailing almost lazily behind her as she ghosts over to an icy window pane. Her long brown locks cascade freely down her back, past the small and resting haplessly on the slight curve of her buttocks. She leans, appearing almost defeated, against the cool pane. Her barely-clad body reflects the ice from the outside world, the alabaster of a young Vampire's skin almost identical to the white silken robe that drapes around her lean, augmented biceps. Her face turns to the side, and you catch a glimpse of long lashes brushing against a blush-less cheek. You realise that those eyes were beautiful long before the predatory, cruel beauty took its hold. Her blood-red lips barely quiver, and you are not even sure if you have witnessed a true, albeit slight, sign of despair.

She finally exhales, tugging her robe securely around her sculpted body. She stares at you as she slowly lowers her feline form back into the large red armchair before you. "So," she murmurs as onyx lashes quickly sweep over the silver eyes staring up at you. "Tell me about your sins."

OOC

I like lots of stuff, like writing and reading books and sipping tea and singing in the shower. I've been role-playing for many years, but I am well aware that I have plenty to learn. I have played a few RPGs before, and as this one has an active RP environment, I look forward to getting more involved in this game.
