Physical Description

Born to the Nameless Deserts, Keturah bears all the darker features of her desert homeland. From her neck to her toes, dusky flesh is woven with tattooed pattern of vines, flora, as well as a coin sized lotus blossom on the underside of one arm. Thick, ebon curls spring about her mid-back, vainly restrained by a braid and the pins that she is so often losing. Beneath the curtain of stubborn bangs and heavy lids, large eyes stare out of the world. Moss green irises, discolored from the usual ink black of her homeland, are by far her most expressive feature. Possessing the ability to maintain a serene blank and practiced, serene smile, it is only by her eyes or tone that others are able to discern her moods.

Keturah wears a simple white shirt beneath a sleeveless, burgundy robe that drapes over her smaller frame. Tied at her middle is a silk sash, used not only to accent her thin figure, but also to hang an assortment of small canvas bags from. Also at her middle, Keturah carries her Katara daggers to either side, and a curved dagger at her back, though these are rarely put to use. At her back, the druidess carries a water-gourd adorned with various baubles and bells that give the woman a melodic tinkling to her steps. As of late, she has left the white shirt unbuttoned, allowing a clear view of the enchanted armor she had hidden beneath, as well as the golden pirate's doubloon she keeps around her neck.

Personality

Her teacher told her at a young age that there was no one completely good nor any who were completely evil, and that any who made such claims were idiots by their own right. Keturah's views are no less harsh, and so she sees in shades of grey. Very few will be met with anything other than the gentle smile and patient mask that she adopted over her time in the clinic, though despite her easy going demeanor and sweet charms, the druidess is very easily pricked to agitation. Unless one has known her long enough or knows how to read her tone, she can very easily hide the irritation behind the smile and occasionally backhanded compliments. Depending on her current mood, the woman can be quite straightforward about how she feels, and veritable words are more than often quite unpleasant. Otherwise, Keturah is kind hearted, with a penchant for caring that is far deeper than she'll ever let on.

Abilities

  • Healing
    • As one of Keturah's primarily used skills, her training in healing is one of her most devotely practiced. Trained through childhood and sharpened over her years as a healer within the lands, the young healer is able to mend all but the most grievous injuries and illnesses. She is also well versed in the art of herblore and often keeps a healthy supply of herbs and medical supplies on her person at all times.
  • Druidic Magic
    • Keturah is proficient in the manipulation of the four elements, though her strength lies in her ability to manuever earth and plant life to her whim. Due to her stamina, however, the druidess lacks the endurance to continuously fling spells without tiring herself or risking injury.
  • Melee Combat
    • What Keturah lacks in physical strength, she makes up for in speed and grace in combat. She taught herself the basics of handling her daggers, and although the prove to be more of a last resort, she wil put them to use.

Pets and Companions

  • Harieon
    • A pathetically overweight penguin, who after a misadventure with the druidess involving shinies and a lack of fish, took to waddling around after the woman.
  • Darageus
    • A grey wolf left behind by a friend departing the lands. Dara is rather fond of destroying Ket's things. In the name of playfullness, of course.
  • Halim
    • A guanaco, left by a desert native and handed over by Rhocielle. Suspecting it was one of her younger brothers attempting to tease, she named the animal after one of them.
  • Farah
    • A mechanical tiger that serves as a protector of sorts when the druidess is off romping alone. Made and given to her by Cerinii.
  • Pani
    • A water sprite, once gifted and stolen back from her owner. She now lives quite happily within Keturah's water gourd, and is more than likely the source of the singing others might hear when around the druidess.
