Character Description
- Please pardon me. This profile is a work in progress. I will improve it a bit at a time. I am completely open to suggestions! And yes, this is my first go-around with this game.*
Josiah is a tall, broad avian with darkly tanned skin. His hair and feathers are both strikingly white, and often somewhat disheveled. He is courteous to a fault, and would much rather use his talents to heal the wounded than battle evil. However, his beliefs and adoration of Arkhen have led him to feel that his true calling in life is to be the swift sword of justice for his god.
Currently, he is struggling with a crisis of faith. Tasked (he believes) by Arkhen to commit what he considers heinous acts in the name of purity, his inner healer is rebelling against his convictions. He has been drinking quite heavily due to the immense pressure.
Character Biography
Josiah was adopted shortly after birth by desert-dwelling, nomadic humans. What happened to his birth parents is currently unknown. However, safe haven was short lived. He fled his home at no more than seven or eight years of age after his adopted parents were murdered by marauders, and his small settlement razed. Bewildered and terrified, he set off into the desert with no supplies, heading for the lush mountains in the distance.
Having blocked out most of the atrocities he encountered along the way, he doesn't quite know where he came from, or how he got to Kelay. He survived off of stolen merchandise and small game for several years. Only recently has he found the courage to step out into the public eye. This strange land of adventurous travelers terrifies him, but he has vowed to please the god that spared his life and guided his steps through the wilderness.
