Physical attributes: Standing at six foot four, Gerik's form is athletic, chiseled and formed from many years of combat and dedicated training. Though clearly the possessor of great strength, the warrior is also dextrous and quick, lacking a heavier frame that would gift him with more raw power at the expense of agility.
Character Biography Gerik is a Captain in his native city of Venturil, where he has served in the Guard ever since the appointment of General Jacklin under the former King Rheven. Throughout his tenure, Gerik has experienced much, from the preklek invasion to various encounters with the many peculiar beasts surrounding the city and the occasional band of mauraders; these events have gradually transformed him from a relatively unexperienced grunt to a seasoned veteran.
With the sudden abdication of King Rheven, Gerik's future was thrown into uncertainty as great confusion and unease gripped the city of Venturil, perhaps fearing a return to the instability of the ruling councils they experienced between proper rulers. Fortunately, the void was swiftly filled by the arrival of the Warlord Eboric, who hastily assumed the throne as Venturil's new chief monarch.
Seeing promise in the strength of Venturil's new King, Gerik chose not to side with any of the rebellious rabble that formed in response and pledged loyalty to the new King, reasoning that his rule would lead to greater stability and strength for his homeland. Most fortunately, the warrior's presumptions have proven true thus far; the rebellion was swiftly surpressed and Venturil begun to prosper once more. Loyal to his homeland above all, Gerik continues to serve to this day, eager and ready to turn blades upon any who might threaten it.
