Physical Description: Brown hair, falls to the shoulders of the elf. His skin, is a light shade, his eyes, a bright and curious green. Always dressed in a fashion which gives mobility and protection, he is usually dressed in light armor, with leather beneath it. He is tall for an elf, at the height of 5' 9", but the lean structure of his body is commonly found among his race. At the weight of 159 lbs, this elf is thin and agile, but possesses a strength that is betraying to the eye.

Personal Characteristics: Although not as cold and aloof as the common elf, Corin still possesses a personality that may seem quite chilly to a stranger. He does break away from his personality to those who are close to him, embracing them with a warmth and comfort that many do not see. He has a flame of anger burning inside of him, but refrains from letting those emotions break through to his exterior. He is justful, like most elves, and tends to lean toward the side of light, rather than the darkness. Although he does not fully accept the darker races, they to him are tolerable, but friendliness and trust will be harder to obtain. He has a deep dislike for those who are aggressive or merciless, unless it is done for the greater good. Corin's curiosity knows no bounds, and it is quite common for him to be questioning those around him. He strives to learn new things, whether it is practical or impractical.

Corin's Biography: Corin was born in a land called Evantur, some distance from the World of Hollow. He was raised in an elven village, at a time of great depression and suffering. His village however, was very successful and prospered during this time of tragedy. Being an elf, Corin was taught the ways of the bow and sword from a young age. However his training seemed to focus strongly on the bow and dagger, rather than the sword. Curiosity plagued Corin from a young age, and if not training with his bow, he was commonly found reading. Quite the intellectual elf, knowledge seemed to flood Corin's mind, and surprisingly, most knowledge was retained. His mother, being a healer, taught him the uses of several different herbs. Because of this, Corin grew up knowing the basics of poisons and theraputic values of plantlife.

When Corin was at the age of 9 (63 human years), he was an avid hunter. Nothing brought him more pleasure than spending a day hunting and becoming more attuned to his environment. He enjoyed hunting with his bow or his daggers. His percision with these weapons naturally grew more efficient as he hunted, making the hunt more successful with every attempt. On one occasion, Corin followed routine as usual, and left quite early in the morning to hunt deep within the wooded areas north of his village. When he returned late that evening, tragedy finally struck his village and himself. The suffering of the peoples around the elven village led to anger and hatred of the prosperity of the elves. Due to this, a small group of bandits struck the village, catching the elves by surprise and destroying their homes. Corin returned looking for the tranquility that was his life, only to find the product of hatred, greed, and envy. His village was pillaged, the people killed or taken to be sold as slaves, and the buildings destroyed or dismantled. He returned to find solitude, a deep anger, and frustration. Corin's aloof personality, built strong by the elven community, finally collapsed, revealing the youth that he was. Tears almost seemed endless as the boy mourned the loss of his family and home. His grief only grew when he found the body of his father, dead and pouring blood upon the dirt path that led to his home, followed by the body of his mother, dead within her gardens, around the herbs that were to bring life forth, and to heal. Corin's despair soon grew to anger, a deep and passionate hate that would forever burn within him. He spent the next day burying the bodies of his mother and father, and collecting items that were of value to him, so that he may leave his past behind. After gathering his bow, some herbs, and his daggers, the young elf traveled in hopes to find those who had destroyed his life.

Corin continued to wander the lands, living off of the environment around him, killing for food, collecting water in streams, still searching for those who caused him so much pain. Sadly, after a year of searching, the young elf could not find anything that would even lead him to the bandits who forced solitude upon him. One morning, Corin's exploring led him to a small cabin, built of logs and rope, with an elderly looking elf meditating nearby. Corin's heart lept at the chance to speak to another elf, as he had not seen one in such a great amount of time. He approached the man, and befriended him. The man's name was Saelius, and he would be Corin's fatherly figure from this point on. Salius was an elf who left his enclave, due to disagreements with the morals and principals that the elves were taught. He was calm, forgiving, wise, and knowledgable in what seemed like everything. The man prided himself in knowledge and understanding, and over the next 13 elven years (91), he forced his moral beliefs and ethics into Corin. The hate that was flaring within Corin was pushed back into a dwindling flame deep with him. His skills with the bow and dagger were close to mastery, as he spent the majority of his time endulging himself within combat tactics within the use of his weapons. Saelius also unlocked the magical potential of Corin, showing him very primative magics in both healing and offensive tactics. His knowledge of poisons and herbs was pushed onward, as he was forced to study and memorize countless volumes of herblore. Throughout the time Corin spent with Saelius, he was slowly moulded into a true rebel of elven culture, he was far from the average elf, and behaved apart from the common elven mannerisms. Near the end of Saelius' life, he gave a gift to Corin, a bow he had constructed after he had met him, and a gift to show that Corin was truely past the stages of adolescence. The bow was nameless, and was to show that Corin had truely persevered, and had risen from the darkness of his previous life. It was constructed of a rare yet agile wood, unfamiliar to the lands of Hollow. At the end of the thirteenth year with Saelius, Corin was ready to travel on his own. Tragedy once more struck Corin as Saelius died of natural causes just months before Corin's planned departure. Anger however, did not sweep over his senses, but acceptance and understanding overwhelmed him. Corin buried the body of Saelius, and marked the grave with a patch of flowers, flowers that would forever stay vibrant and fruitful, forever persevering, just as Saelius would have wanted. Corin then departed the next day, taking with him his bow, and many of the herbs Saelius had grown. Before departing from his home for so many years, he named the bow Salius had constructed for him, Salius, after the man who had changed his life.

Corin spent the next 3 years (21) with an elven enclave, just north of Kelay. Here he continued to show mastery of his bow and daggers, but spent more of his time within libraries, absorbing information as much as he could. He read about the surrounding lands of Hollow, and Hollow itself. The lore and the creatures that roamed the land were also briefly touched. His main focus however, was the study of magics, the arcane knowledge that Corin strived to understand to learn. After three years with the enclave however, Corin forced himself to depart, to once again venture the lands alone, but this time, he would be ready. Armed with knowledge and physical strength, the elf was more than enthusiastic to see what he would find in the world that he had not yet explored.
