Born in Cenril some years ago, too many years than the man cares to count, Bradyn Mahara's obsession with death began during his studies to become a medical practitioner. These studies were abandoned midway to completion so that Bradyn could pursue a career as a mortician. An internship was taken up at the funeral parlor in Cenril where, decades later, Bradyn continues to work today.
Bradyn's obsession with death was furthered after meeting Lord Antonin Mahara by happenstance. It was around the age of thirty that the two men first met one another, Antonin taking Bradyn under his wing, siring him and mentoring him in the dark arts. The more Bradyn studied, the further down a dark path he wandered, and with the resources of The Black Library at his disposal, it was not long before Bradyn was declaring himself a loyal follower of Vakmatharas.
Years of loyal servitude to House Mahara has afforded him a position as Head of House Mahara, right alongside Lord Antonin -- a decision made given the tensions between Lord Antonin Mahara and Lady Larewen Dragana. While Bradyn currently holds the rank of Thanadule and the Luctisonus teaching position within the Necromancer's Guild, Bradyn's loyalty to the current Thanatos Dominus is questionable at best.
