Hair color: Black and longer in the front. He also has a few blue-tinged feathers growing at the nape of his neck.

Sexuality: He likes guys. But it really doesn't matter. He just likes the companionship.

Markings: His wing pattern is Peregrine. New, shiny, fist-sized burn on his chest courtesy of Reinhardh.
Eye color: Deep blue with flecks of gold.
Alignment: Chaotic Good. Got the basic Paladin training in his youth, but because of the circumstances that followed, never completed it. In his solitude in the years that followed, he used his base training and built his beliefs on his own.
Personality: Has a very strong belief in what he perceives to be right and wrong. Will walk away from a verbal argument. Courteous and Honorable.

Biography
Has a pet Wyvern named Oliza. Is actually his sister, bound to that form by his former Empress. Her magic became too unstable and unbalanced and was a danger to herself and those around her. A small part of her mind remains in that she remains selflessly loyal to Bastrien, but for the most part, he feels she is lost forever.
Is from a sect of Avains who despised the use of technology over magic, and broke away to form their own society. They literally built their city, known only as the Singing City, from magic. He was born into the second royal house, into a long line of paladins who had, since time immemorial, served as the right hand of the Empress. Bastrien chose exile from the city over the execution of his entire family. The Empress herself stripped him of all but his most basic magics. For him, the city no longer sang.
Wandered the world searching for the other avian cities, only to find them destroyed or empty. His final search lead him to Armantium, newly restored in the skies over Hollow. Upon finding it's rooms and streets empty, he descended to find a small but growing population of Avians in residence there, and after a few choice encounters with the denizens of this place, chose to make Hollow his new home.
