Balahr is a Halfling who likes to grow plants in the Burrows. He sometimes ventures into Xalious to spend time at the inn there, but mostly he finds other races altogether too strange for his liking. They're always running about killing each other. What is wrong with spending your days buried in a book with a pipe in your hand, a plate of food on your considerable belly, and a large (compared to him, anyway) mug of ale beside you? That is the life for a halfling.
In a somewhat strange turn of events, Balahr ate himself whole, after missing out on three of the four required lunches needed for a halfling to function properly. He will be missed, but at least he died doing what he loves most; eating. Even if it was himself. But take solace in the fact he tasted quite good, though considering he's the only judge of that, there's a chance he's being a shade biased in his critique of his flavour and texture... pity you can't ask him about it, though, as he's currently digesting himself.
