Arie

Appearance: A hood might veil his face from the world. Beneath, close-cropped black hair ends at slightly pointed ears. A rather unassuming face is quite the opposite of what would be expected from his elven heritage. There are no delicate or fragile features upon the visage of this man. Warm, piercing eyes, the color of the raging sea, are level with most he comes across. Though often soft spoken, he does not carry himself like the meek fellow most mark him off as at first glance. Seemingly shapeless robes generally swathe his frame, hiding his powerfully built body. While he is quite muscular, that is not to say he is bulky. A graceful dexterity typically occupies his every movement. No armor is ever visible on the man’s body and most often he is seen with just a staff that aids him in his progress.

Combat

  • While Arie has little-to-no magical ability, he is in-tune with the life force in his body, and this is evident in some of his abilities.

Iron Body: A training regiment used by those who specialize in the use of martial arts. Consists of constantly pushing the body to its limits until it becomes quite literally like iron. (Eg: Striking trees and boulders to build up the arms, hand, legs, and feet) Some say it also involves directing the energy in your body.

  • In his unknown span of life he has mastered several forms of disabling and dealing death.

Muay Thai: The Art of Eight Limbs. His entire body is used as a weapon, hence the name. Hands, elbows, knees, and feet. The stance consists of a lead arm and corresponding lead leg while the back leg is turned at a 45 degree angle. Perhaps the discipline most applicable to an actual fight because of the potential brutality of each strike.
