Anders the undead necromancer

Name: Anders (the name on the grave from wich he emerged)

age: Unknown. But he was probably not the youngest when he died.

origin: He crawled out of a grave, without memory of who or what he was before death, and with no recollection of why he was reanimated as a undead without a necromancer granting him undeath.

length: He is not tall, yet not too short. With the mediocre height of around 6', he is far from a bulging behemoth.

build: He is slim, beyond the point of being sickly so. The necromancer has litterally no body fat, nor organs.

hair: He has a few whisps of hair left on his skull, but not much. The hair he has is dark brown in color.

eyes: He lacks eyes, with his eyesockets deep and empty.

skin: His skin is alike dried parchment, and is a dirty brown color.

other: His jaw was missing when Anders left his grave, and has since been replaced by a new one gifted to him by a massive Orc warrior. This jaw is now fitted in place in exchange of his lost one, and is picked clean from skin and flesh.

Companions

Bob - A zombie who previously was a virtous human knight, who was found and resurreccted by Anders. This zombie has retained his sence of honor and virtue even into undeath, and has sworn fealty to his 'saviour', Anders.

Frank - A zombie who previously was a quick-witted adventurer and mercenary, he was killed while out on an treasure hunt, and was raised from the dead by Anders. Frank serves Anders, as he is unable to return to the living civilization, and is incapable of joining the mindless slaves that make up most of the undead of the world. He keeps his lust for adventure and glory, looking for the thrill of victory always, wich more than once has put him in a disadvantageous position.

Phil - A zombie, who previously lived the life of a brigand, this man was slain by guardsmen as his company of bandits was caught while robbing a merchant. He was later found and resurreccted by Anders, and since then considers Anders his new boss. Phil is a irredeemable cheater and liar, but he knows how to get things done. These attributes make him a less-than-favourable friend, but a competent ally. Phil often sees himself on the duty of protecting his master as a bodyguard.

A brief history

Anders, as a necromancer, has had little to do with the rest of the practicioners of the dark arts, beyond the occasional exchange of knowledge, or in some cases, battles. He has had it tumultous since his rebirth as undead, with several battles where he has been assaulted by Orcs, harrassed by magical foxes, and assailed by random strangers while trying to blend in with living society. He has not been treated well by his own kind, eighter, with battles done against the one who claimed himself to be the hand of the death god himself, and conflicts with zombies skulking the night in search of prey.

The few with whom he consistantly travel, namely his three zombie companions, were corpses he found on his travels and that he raised himself. The undead granted their unlife by Anders does seem to retain full sentinence, without forced dominion by the necromancer himself. Something that sets Anders apart from most other necromancers.

Recent events

In the wake of being assaulted in Kelay tavern once more, Anders has decided to set out to explore a rumor of ancient treasures and knowledge set in sites of power and death. While preparing to wander aimlessly to search for one of these sites, he was approached by the ancient Avian Veriun, who offered to be his guide to one of the sites in question. Anders is now preparing an expedition to the ancient place, and is looking for companions who he can trust. If not in their loyalty, in their greed.
