At a glance, this seemingly sinister Tome seems to fulfill most of the obligatory checkmarks for a forbidden tome. A malign aura exudes from it's leathery cover, it's pages rustle on their own when left open- and each page is covered in a maddening scrawl of meticulously taken notes.
That said, while the knowledge contained within this title may still be Verbotten- it's overall applications are far more mundane then it's peers. Notably, it's a -literal- rather than figurative cookbook, which applies a number of easy to make meals using the leftover cuts of meat that might make themselves available after the creation of a new skeleton.
There's a decent array of accompanying broths and sauces that are also included- some of which are helpfully able to be sourced using bones too brittle for use in a proper reanimation, and certain breeds of fungi that might find purchase on, or near corpses.
The tail end of the book is a bit less organized, as it seems to be a curated list of different flavours for cuts of meat specific to different races, as well as the requisite cooking times and preparations needed.
That, and a few different styles of solvent, and anti-toxins. The latter of which seem geared towards potentially poisonous creatures, as well as increasing the palatability of rot ravaged roasts.
