What is the LFA?

The LFA supports and sponsors many different types of combat sporting events.

LFA stands for Larket Fighting Association. This is a combat sport that holds cage matches and monthly events in the Larket Arena and other arenas Hollow wide. Fights are in a standard duel/spar format and are judged by 3 official judges from the LFA Judges panel. (Panel consists of 10 members total) Fighters are allowed no magic use what so ever. (Automatic DQ) No armor of any kind. (Gloves 6 ounces and under may be worn, but only made from leather like materials please) No weaponry may be utilized during the battle. This is a sport and is hand to hand combat. Fighters compete to achieve the championship belt in their weight class division. (Yes there will be 7 belts created) Some monthly events may also include prizes like sums of gold to winning fighters or items of value. Employees of the LFA are paid in gold. Some are paid per match whilst others per event. Contact Aranhil or another LFA official if interested in becoming a judge, referee, sponsor, or signing up as a fighter.

Rules and regulations

The Larket Fighting Association is a combat sport.

There are no magics allowed nor are there weapons. (Auto DQ for use of)

Two fighters enter a cage or enclosed area and only one is declared the winner.

All fights will take place in the Larket Arena mostly. Other towns and cities with arenas will also be used from time to time during the year.

3 round fight (duel) Bare hands, no tricks. A, D/A, D/A, D/A, D/A, D

A panel of 3 judges will score the battle declaring the victor.

Champion in each division will have a championship belt (must win 3 in a row, win special match, or beat current champion to earn division Title belt.)

All matches schedules and rules set up by Aranhil President of the LFA and regulated by the LFA VP and FC.

No fight takes place without authorization of the P, VP and FC.

Fights must remain unedited and "as is". Not all judges need be present and can do the job via hmail. One LFA official must be present to verify the fight and keep rules. (Referee)

The person regulating the match (referee) will hmail the match to the judges panel when finished and make sure time limit and rules are enforced.

Judges have the option to icly be there in person (ringside) or judge via hmail.

All matches and fighter stats will be recorded by LFA president upon this wiki and LFA site.

No armor may be worn during matches besides basic clothing and leather gloves.

All fights must stick to a 15 minute maximum time limit per post.

The P, VP and FC may compete as fighters and referee and judge, but when competing gives up the right to ref or judge a match in the current event to remain unbiased.

The LFA is a pure combat sport and is for the betterment and improvement of all fighters and spectators skills in dueling.

The LFA is not used for gambling or betting purposes as its main intention, but side wagering may take place if all parties are in agreement. It is up to each individual fighter if he or she wishes to wager for a set amount of gold. All betting is to be handled directly through the FC. (Lorivanni)

Admission to all LFA fights and events are purchased from the FC if applicable, or are other wise free of charge.

Fighter whom win 3 fights in a row will start earning a paycheck from the LFA for being a superstar fighter and will be eligible for a title fight.

The FC must report wagering action to the VP and P. The three of them must act in accordance in order to fairly operate.

Yearly profit is divided between the P, VP and FC. The P donates all earnings into the LFA.

Fighters must maintain a certain level of sportsmanship at all times.

The rules listed on this page are still under issue to changes and additions.

Fight divisions

Weight class divisions are as follows: (listed in pounds Lbs.)

One belt can only be claimed by one person at any given time.

Dropping or gaining weight to enter other divisions is allowed, but the weight gain or loss MUST be rped properly and approved by the P, VP and FC.

Featherweight- under 139
Lightweight- 140-174
Middleweight- 175-204
Light Heavyweight- 205-299
Heavyweight- 300-699
Super Heavyweight- 700-3000
Giants Division- Any over 3000 pounds!

Officials

LFA President- Aranhil
(Earnings based on end of year profit. Founder of the LFA. P oversees and is main owner of LFA. The P approves and authorizes all fights and events.)

LFA Vice President- Nortengaal
(Earnings based on end of year profit. Founding member of the LFA. VP runs the LFA in absence of the P and works closely with the FC to set up events. The VP oversees all actions of the FC.)

Fight Commissioner- (VACANT)
(sets up and schedules monthly events and fight matches. In charge of fighter relations. Hardest working LFA Official) FC is paid monthly salary(paid from sales and wagers) as main events are to be held monthly. FC is in charge on naming all events pending the approval of the VP and P. The FC also is in charge of any and all wagering activities involved with the LFA events or fights. All wagering bets take place in Den of Vice above the Hanging Corpse Tavern and are under authorization of the FC only.

LFA Judges Panel- Jacklin, Prathoryn, Nortengaal, Aranhil, Wolfram
(3 judges per match. The panel may consist of a total of 10 judges.) Paid per match judged. 100g Judges have the option to icly be there in person (ringside) or judge via hmail. LFA judge is the most passive role in the organization. The P, VP, FC and fighters may not judge in any event that they fight in.

LFA Referees- (VACANT)
(Must be present at match. Keeps order of rules and time limit in matches. Records the fight and sends to judges, FC, VP and P) Paid per match. 200g The President will often ref matches himself.

(Read the Larket town board to get ICly aware of the LFA then hmail Prathoryn to sign up) Contact Prathoryn via hmail. Fill out the standard fighter card info if wanting to be a fighter. Request info if looking to become a ref, judge, or other official. You do not have to join the LFA to compete in an event, but your fighter stats will not be tracked in detail and you are not a contender for a belt without being registered on the fighters page. Simply hmail this info to the LFA President (P) Vice President (VP) or the Fight Commissioner (FC)
