OOC Timeline

• September/October 2015: Strange storms rain down black ink and necrotic rot in Xalious. Josleen, Linn, and others investigate.
• October/November 2015: Josleen, Linn, Krice, Hudson throughout several RPs discover that the storms are the result of failed summonings. Necromancers are trying to ressurect an old ancient drow necromancy sect called Order of the Shade (look it up on the wiki).
• November/December 2015: During a political event in Xalious, it is revealed that the necromancers are led by a lich.
• Christmas 2015: Dat lich kills Hildegarde! Orikahn worshipped the lich! (Hildegarde resurrected later, Orikahn redeems himself in subsequent Frostmawian war, sort of, he still is the worst cat ever)
• February 2016: Necromancers succeed in summoning a necromantic monster from another plane.

----Shifting from leading this as Jos to leading this as Gev----

• March/April 2016: Lanlan and Gevurah (both drow) discover that the monster is named Alithyk Caluss (npc), and he is amassing an undead army in the former Lotus Castle in the Chaos Realm. They also discover a secret portal in the Dead Caves that feeds Alithyk Caluss corpses that he later turns undead and adds to his army. Alithyk Caluss's goal is to 1) make the entire planet undead, then 2) be their god.
  • There are eight of there on the map.
• May 2016: Kovl gets the Mage's Guild to commit to fighting the undead.
• June 2016: Alithyk Caluss makes Deriin, drow necromancer, his general.
• July/August 2016: Deriin recruits the ghoul/deathknight Trajek as his lieutenant.
• August 2016: Trajek tricks Aiden (by appealing to his better nature) into hatching and killing a basilisk, then steals the corpse and runs away.
• September 2016: Deriin makes Xzavior captain of the cavalry and giving him a cool nightmare ghost horse
• September 2016: Turin, Kovl and Gevurah discover one of Caluss's portals in the swamps outside Gualon.
• September 2016: Gevurah and Lanlan plot to kidnap one of Caluss's cultists, and, after extracting vital information from it, use it in a rigged championship to scare the other drow houses into banding together to fight Caluss.
• October 2016: Trajek uses the undead basilisk to forge a powerful blade.
• October 2016 - May 2017: Caluss remains in hiding, gatheing strength, and Gevurah dives into books to help her find a way to kill this monster.
• May 2017: Gevuah develops a theory that Caluss share characteristics with the gloomglut in the Shadow Plane and strikes a deal with Khitti in which the vampire opens a portal to the shadow plane for Gevurah and Lanlan.
• June 2017: Trajek tries to enlist Larewen as another follower of Caluss via repeated impalings with the basilisk blade.

September 2019: As Trajek tried to recruit followers, arc momentum fizzled out! It happens. It is understood by Gevurah and Lanlan that Alithyk Caluss is biding his time in the Chaos Realm, gathering his strength and building an army of the undead.
