This is where we can log posts from the board below Kelay tavern. It should be used to preserve suggestions and ideas, as with the high influx of suggestions they may disappear from the board entirely before other players have the chance to see them and read them. Please update as and when is appropriate.


July 2016

  • Make another recall skill, one that is more expensive, or maybe premium that doesnt take a percentage of stamina, more like a set amount. Recalling is difficult for the players whom have over 15k stamina. -- Vaeh (July 1, 8:11 AM)

  • Ability to see and post on chat while in combat with monsters, primarily for those scenarios where one is being healed while statting. It’s something commonly done on IMs like skype or AIM as it is normally unavailable but it allows players to communicate which is incredibly helpful in these scenarios. Having it built into Hollow would be nice as it would remove one of the needs for setting up other programs. Somewhat as a tangent, adding a setting to hide healing messages, or making them part of combat chat to be hidden with it if possible.   • Nova skill, similar to recall's affects except it draws half of health magic and stamina reserves adds the total to gether and deals that amount of damage to the target, it should be expensive to learn like 5000 and because of its power and limited use it would mostly only come in handy with the really powerful monsters.-- Sombra (July 6, 10:55 PM)
  • we need a soultion to new user easy gold as armour is too expensive to get and people don't always donate to new users. There needs be some place for new users to attain and easy and large drop to start them on their statting quest.   • expansion to mining, a smelt works no longer get just pebbles, get slag. Take slag to smelt works, exchange 10 slag min, for a chance at finding valuable metals, to return to the masbane to sell, the higher amount of slag the more likely chance of finding objects worth more. -- Sparky (June 16, 9:46 PM)

  • To start off simple-ish, I think more fish for fishing and more gems for mining would be a nice addition. The new items don’t need to sell for anything crazy, but variety couldn’t hurt. Might bring a bit more interest to two activities that don’t get as much attention as they used too. I remember it being mentioned on the OOC chat before, but I think a shop that sells potions would be nice too. Not all characters can cast wildly powerful magic, so evening the playing field with a bought potion to use in battle could add to RP. Or even if a player had their own shop and sold potions that were admin-recognized for use. A better balance to the statting system. If not the players, then maybe figuring out the mob drops and experience gain. Getting a real balance to that side of the game, like RP side has been getting. Statting has exploded recently with activity, so added attention could prove useful for those highly interested. Maybe gathering those players in some way and exchanging ideas and information. I understand a lot of work would be needed to balance it all out, but with enough people working together, (in a civil manner, of course) it could help speed up the process. -- Kelovath (June 17, 3:23 PM)
  • My requests would be as follows: healing and restoratives that work only for the non-self healing classes, that are ridiculously cheap to offset the inherently lopsided statting abilities. For instance Pine Essence costs 27 gold for everyone. Make an equivalent that works only for non-self healers that costs 1 gold. -- Insidia (June 18, 1:17 PM)
  • Also, how about areas where the various classes can utilize skills to earn gold and items. For instance, a thief would have a crowded marketplace and a pick pocket ability. A warrior a Colosseum to delight the crowds. A ranger a place to hunt prey. A druid a Garden to tend. A priest a place to worship. A mage a Conjuring circle. Each could drop gold or items, and it could be incorporated into a quest in which the rarer items (very rare items) could be taken and used in a certain location to create something unique similar to the beauty potion quest except each item has to be used by the class that gathered it, and in the right order to create the unique item. -- Insidia (June 18, 1:24 PM)
  • Another idea is a craftable room for duels. So players could alter the room description to suit the battle they want to fight and/or RP in. They could create the room description, do the RP or duel, then the next RPers could alter the room description to suit their needs. -- Insidia (June 18, 1:27 PM)
  • There is already a room just for Drow with a shop, how about items for specific classes and races that are only wearable by that class or race. So a drow warrior could shop at the drow race shop, and the warrior class shop, for items crafted for that race and class only.   • Allow players to purchase cross-class skills in game at the trainers. You can have it set to the 100,000 g amount for all non class skills. Or perhaps create a quest for each class skill that would have to be completed before someone not of that class to use it. -- Aquila (June 19, 1:07 PM)

  • the establishment of the poor box. The poor box is an accessible box located outside of shrines and temples.   • I agree with Sparky, and go a bit further. Any race should have access to the Bard and priest class, as well as thief. I think the Bard class is just way too overpowered for statting and gold production. I would like to see it brought a little more in line with the other classes.-- Insidia (June 21, 2:41 PM)

  • Reduce Bard stat and make races with poor stat increased a bit. Balance, and as Insidia said any race could be a priest or Bard, you just need a mouth to sing, even if your ogre and your song is terrible-- Sparky (June 22, 12:57 PM)

  • Nice Sparky, maybe an enchantment for existing customs that add's the equivalent of speed rest? Sort of like the protection auras that make mobs leave you alone?   • Race attacks. How about adding an attack that is race related. Each race could have a racial attack that trumps the max attack of their class, but uses 10 stamina and does about 150 damage, but it raises all stats.   • Hollow is not as large as it once was, I think that an option should be considered, statting, maybe now with smaller groups of people armour, should be avalible to block much higher amount of damage for a far cheaper price, some monsters on hollow have never been taken down, maybe now is the time to considered providing ultra armour with counts over 100-1000 this way we can actually stat big as we also invent new adversies. I am assume hollow was concieved as a roleplay place, so why should statting be as difficult as the roleplays?-- Sparky (June 27, 2:33 AM)
  • A quick action bar would be nice. I am thinking of allow 2-3 or more if possible slots in the bar to place commonly used items. Such as MP or Stam regeneration items. You could place it with the other quick items. It gets annoying having to go into your inventory over and over again for this. Also it would help when healing others as when you ran out of something you could instantly replenish it without to much delay.-- Aquila (June 27, 5:09 PM)
