Description:

At first glance the ring appears to be a master crafted platinum band but once its powers are evoked the ring takes on a more sinister presence. Black runes carved into the metal, which only show when activated, cause the wearer to appear blurry and distorted. The enchantment works just like a displacer beast, creating a light-bending barrier that continually surrounds the wearer, making it difficult to surmise their true location.

History:

Once wielded by the Royal Avian Empire over 70,000 years ago to spy on the dragon/dwarf conflict, it was passed down for generations until it went missing for some time. An illusionist named Zaria recovered it before it was passed to Arcos after she died. Arcos later gifted the ring to Raphaline whom held on to it for a long while in secret. Unable to unlock the arcane power held within, she gave it to a young student of magic named Quintessa to study, so that the artifact's secrets could be uncovered.
