RP:Valkor/Sabrina

This room's tone is one of mithril and pearl. The whitened walls glow with iridescent colors that ripple and shift under the flickering light of a hundred silver hued candles. Resting in long tapers of sterling and delicate glass wares of crystal, their glow is magical in nature, as no heat or damning embers escape. Diaphanous swaths of the lightest silk drape down from a thin, silver canopy; secluding the luxurious bed from the rest of the room. The scent of roses and wild flowers wafts gently from the center and an assortment of petals litter the frosted rug beside it.

Valkor is here.

Sabrina’s entrance was announced first by the creaking of stairs- not by the slight female, but by the beasty filling up the suddenly-small hall in her wake. She pushes the door open and pokes her head in, whispering something in Elvish to her company just behind her. Standing at a mere fifteen hands, and that was stretching the truth of it; she seems the right size for the dwarf-made door. Lengthy ebon trusses fall silken to the side she smiles at the stranger already occupying the room. “So sorry, didn’t know anyone was about.” Her common was stained with an odd mix of Pirate and Elvish but the melody was pleasing nevertheless.

Valkor stood up from his repast in a seemingly smallish chair near a corner. The always mannered male, inclined his head so as not to bang it on the ceiling and follow that with a deep respectful bow. His voice rumbled the room, shaking a few of the candles flickering the light that rimmed his broad wings that cloaked over his shoulders. A broad smile expressed his welcome to the female saying, "No, not to concern. Disturb sign would of hung on outside if I felt the need for privacy." A rub was given his nose and his eyes took in the form of the woman again before gesturing to a nearby chair covered in the same whitish material that decorated the rest of the room. "Come and share the peace of this room with me. The company would be most welcome from my solitary patrol of the lands. How fair you, er....Pray forgive, You seem familiar to my eyes but my recall seems to of departed with the blow from my last combat of a beasty."

Sabrina smiled brightly and straightened up upon taking the last step in entering the room. “We’ve met.” She didn’t disclose when or where for those memories were catalogued far too long ago to recall with minimal effort, however she remembered the friendly face even if it was considerably smaller than vague recollection allotted. Scraping the doorway just behind her was the ever-present hell-mutt, looking irritated as usual. He couldn’t understand why Sabrina wouldn’t take into his consideration his mass when deciding upon resting grounds, he did recall however how she liked to jump on the lush bed in this place when no one was looking. She returned his bow with a fitting and proper curtsy whilst Rohk simply snorted a sloppy head bow toward the male before making his way to the emptiest part of the room and curling up in a scaly metallic heap and wrapping twin tails around his demon maw- hiding his interest for he was in dire need of sleep. The Elfess, on the other hand, seemed wide awake. She had been out all night but none would have guessed this fresh face had done anything all morning. She pushes shining tresses behind pointed ear and nabs herself a chair with a fluffy cushion and perches herself cutely with her knees tucked beneath her slight form. She gestures for the giant to reclaim his seat with a smile and an airy movement of hand. “Please, sit.”

Valkor was distracted by the scaley demonic beast of a hound, curly it's tails to slumber he imagined. Just like every other warrior one got it's repast when one found the opportunity. The winged giant almost missed her curtsy and double returned it feeling awkward by her silken pose. Armour clanking added more to his feeling of out of a beasty in a crytal shoppe. Trying to rally some sort of dignity he lowered his girth slowly back into the chair, but it complained with a creak and a groan of floorboards. His face flush as he cleared his throat, hoping to hide the embarrassment. Her kind request did encourage him though and he stammered out his graditude. "My thanks, fair lady." Brown eyes glanced to hers, "How goes your morning?"

Sabrina’s eyes dart to Rohk who had given a loud display of jostling scales- the sound akin to nails on a chalkboard of which was to indicate the noise in a resting room should be kept to a library minimum. She giggles, taking off a worse-for-wear boot and throwing it at him playfully. Rohk stands up fierce and menacing in a brawny pout. He blows a round of snot from his nose and eats her shoe before turning his back on the both of them and circling into another canine curl. Sabrina frowns but turns her attention back to Valkor, it is not the first garment laid to waste by a Rohk induced temper tantrum. She missed entirely the creak of the chair and floorboards alike with that exchange. She beamed back at him proudly “I was entangling a T-Rex just before dawn broke and I over calculated, squishing its insides all over Rohk and I like a bug.” She runs her tongue across the roof of her mouth, recalling the distinct taste of metal and pungent oil. “My mouth was open and everything.” This would of course explain her clean refreshed appearance and Rohk’s irritated demeanor all at once. They were just returning from a bath. Smiling all matter-of-factly she adds “Those lizards are far gooier on the inside than I had originally imagined but further studies will be made when I find one whole and cut it open to get the whole story.” She contemplates finding a wizard with a stunning ability momentarily. “It would be best to dissect it while it’s still alive…” She trailed off, realizing in Valkor’s silence that she had been rambling again. “How is your morning?”

Valkor fell at ease with her trailing conversation finding himself wondering about the inner workings of said beasty. Of course Rex was one of his favorites to tease and wrestle with chuckling to the way the snapped at his armored torso, oh the fun, he mused. His wanderings halted at her question and it took him a pause to reply, "Oh yes, I , The morning has been well. Bit of bother on my patrol some loose ground gave way as I split open a rude dragon on the island. caught my head smarts and needed to find a place that did not have the smell of carnage and dragon breath." He gestured to the room, "I was going to take refuge at the waterfalls to the north but recalled this place as one that seems more, er, dry." A broad grinned grew into a chuckle. "I recall your name now. It seems a lifetime, Lady Sabrina. Though your form seems different to my eyes. You are looking fair to the eyes, as always. A gift and reflective of your inner kindness to this humble beast. How have your travels bee, good lady Sabrina?"

Sabrina blushed, still having failed to recall his name. “I learned to dance, although I found upon completion that it is a menial game with no real winners or losers and so I grew bored of the practice.” She frowns abruptly “Still can’t swim but Rohk thinks I should ask the gentleman we met yesterday to teach me. Eliason, I think… Elliot, no… Elmer…” She grows positively silent as she begins to lose the memory already, she recalls his eyes and whispers lightly “His eyes remind me of being sick.” Frail hand trails to her shoulder, grasping a fine tuft of silky black trusses and pulling them frontward. She entwines the length betwixt thin pale fingers, twisting a knot that unravels itself, repeating this action time and time over. She looks up at his aforementioned bump on the noggin and offers “I can heal that bit for ya, if you want.” She flashes pearly whites suspiciously before Rohk lifts his head and gives Valkor a denying shake, a warning she had more in mind of late than ‘fixing’ things. Sabrina was convinced she had to figure out how things break before she could truly fix them in the first place.

Valkor picked up on the gesture of the brute and rubbed the back of his neck with a ham ham of a hand. "Feeling better already, and thank you." His wings shifted and tightened behind his broad warhorse like shoulders. "I think I know this man, good sort, funny smell. I do not recall him being sick when I last spoke. I wonder if there is something happening, well will keep an eye out." Something about her recollection tugged at his empath ablity, perhaps she might be the one in need of healing. In the long past he trained under a mind healing and have some very successful result. It all came down to the willingness of the patient. "Er, yes. I was wondering," Then he stop himself befor he continued and changed track. "Well, was thinking I did not properly introduce myself, "I am Valkor, Valkor of the twin fires, Valkor Racmonovik. It feels like it has been a long time since last we spoke and even I misplace peoples names when I see them not." He offered her a inviting grin and a touch to her arm if you would allow it.'

Sabrina smiles serenely. “He smells like salt and sand.” It was a very familiar scent to her; having grown up where she did it was the smell of home. “And Human.” That last bit perplexed her. She was attentive to his pondering, leaning forward and looking very interested though he paused. She looked taken aback. “I-I knew what your name was, I am not daft.” She shifts uncomfortably in her chair, leaning once from the left and not to the right with minty orbs fixated on the ground. Her fingers hasten the pace of twisting about her locks. She flinched when he reached for her and a small electric charge leaps from her skin to his fingertips. Rohks twin tails thump the floor in a feline manner, shocking her back to the present. He grunts and groans, rolling on his back like his woes were defeating him. Sabrina smiles. “Rohk says it’s time to go… Hellhounds and their tummy’s you know…” She rises politely. “It was a pleasure… Valkor..” Like it was the first time that name left her lips. “… We should sit again sometime. Maybe over a nice corpse of a giant lizard?” it was a sincere invitation to an informative experience.

Valkor rose as she left and bow her departure saying "I will be a pleasure to share a repast. Fair well and victory to your travels."
