RP:UFC Week 7

From HollowWiki

Tiphareth approaches Chaine, offering nods to the various surface dwellers who are currently in attendance, "Greetings, I see you found the venue fine."

Chaine nods her greeting to Tiphareth. "Indeed. So who's fighting?"

Aiya slips into the arena taking care not to tred on anyone's toes. Whisper of a brawl or fight of sorts had drawn her attention away from hours of nothingness above ground. Mayhaps there'd be a good show, yeah?

Tiphareth said to Chaine, "Well, so far I know that Satoshi will be fighting... though the other combatant is yet to be chosen. I believe Sadie is eager for the chance."

Nowfaleena made her way into the arena, her luminescent eyes reflecting the torchlight as she looked about. A large crowd had already begun to gather, and she was slightly nervous among the masses as she stuck close to Strend, her hand grasping for his. Her ears lowered slightly, as she cautiously made her way through the crowd, watching to keep from getting jostled too much.

Sadie eases into the arena and carefully squeezes around and in between people to make it towards the front. Having heard Tiphareth's words, her hand raises in indication and she calls out about the hum of voices, "I wish to fight."

Alzar flies to the front and yells , i want a fight her .

Strend entered the scene, his hand holding onto the feline's. He looked towards her, noticing the worry upon her face and sighed. He wormed his way through the crowd pulling the feline with him, as he looked for small holes in between the patrons to avoid them. When he finally found a opening, he made his way towards the top of the arena as to seperate himself from the rest of the crowd. He turned towards the feline with a smile,"This a okay spot to sit Furball?"

Zimri takes a seat in one of the high boxes, placing his one of a kind lute upon his lap as he watches the exciment below. Humming a bit to cause the ether in the air to gather about him, preparing for the job ahead.

Chaine is taking all bets! Currently setting odds now!

Nowfaleena heard the sigh, and felt bad for making Strend worry about her. Still, she appreciated his care with her. As he selected the seats, she gave a small nod, "This will be fine." She smiled softly and settled in beside him. Chaine stands upon

Tiphareth said "Satoshi vs Sadie, the Drow has spoken"

Strend nodded towards the feline,"Good. I wonder who will be doing the fightin.." He looks down at the arena, and spots the man taking bets. "Oh! Oh! I want to place a bet." He reaches into his pocket and begins to pull out gold coins.

Tiphareth walks around to all of the different attendants, shaking hands and welcoming them to the Underdark Fighting Challenge.

Chaine stands upon a rock outcropping, using it as a pedestal to announce, and shouted, "Now taking all bets! Minimum 50 gold, maximum 2000! Odds are as follows: Satoshi is going off at 10:7, Sadie's bets are 7:5! Now taking all bets!"

Alzar flies and lands next to Strend and says . " your allrewady betting Strend my freind ?

Thea appears from the south.

Nowfaleena had to smirk at the elf as he began rooting through his pocket for coins. She didn't know enough about these people to place a bet, how was she supposed to know who would win? "Who are you betting on?" She asked, tilting her head to one side.

Alzar yells go Satoshi yahoo

Strend turns his head to face the man, who adressed him."Yep... Why wouldn't you bet?"

Satoshi simply ambles about patiently, whistling to herself~.

Alzar how are you Strend

Tiphareth said, "If the duelists could take thier place within the Arena floor we will get this competition started."

Sadie grins mischievously towards Satoshi before venturing out further into the arena.

Satoshi promptly turns her ambling toward the arena, eyeing Sadie curiously. "New face~. Fun, fun~."

Nowfaleena gave 200 gold to Strend.

Zimri stands, tapping his foot as he does so "Alright mates, seems the gladiators are about ready ta give us a show, what say we show em our support with a round of applause and cheers before they get started?"

Alzar how are you Strend

Strend shrugged,"I dunno. I figure I can flip a coin and hope for the best." He smiles, gripping one of the coins in his hand. "Heads for Satoshi, tails for Sadie?" Flipping the coin in the air, he watches it flip constanly until finally falling back down to falling in the man's hand. He looks down at the coin."Heads! Sato!" He chuckles, and counts his coins. Then yelling down at the female shouting for bets,"Six hundred on Sato!" Before throwing the bag of coins down to the woman.

Strend gave 600 gold to Chaine.

Chaine said, "For Satoshi, for every 7 gold put down, if she wins, it pays 10. For every 5 gold put on Sadie, it pays 7."

Alzar how are you Strend

Zimri doesn't think he should bet, as he's supposed be impartial as an announcer.:-P

Tiphareth thinks the announcer can vote, hell commentators are biased all the time.

Strend sighs turning back towards Alzar,"Fine."

Aiya slides closer to where she notes bets are being taken. Nimble fingers dip down seeking the purse at her hip in search of the coins tucked away. Perhaps a bet would lighten her mood. Turning, malachite sweeps the arena taking note of the two combatants before her gaze swivles back to Chaine. "I've One thousand gold on the cat." With a jerk of her chin, Aiya further indicates she means Satoshi.

Nowfaleena rolled her eyes at his logic, "There has to be a better way to decide who to-" But she was cut off as the coin landed, and he shouted out the bet to the woman, tossing her a bag of gold. She sighed softly, "For your sake, I hope she is the better fighter." She then looked down at the arena where Satoshi was eying Sadie.

Aiya gave 1000 gold to Chaine.

Strend shrugged,"It is all for good fun Furball. Sheesh, you act as if gold isn't a renewable source of revenue."

Kasyr appears from the south.

Alzar who's the feline with you Strend?

Nowfaleena sighed at the elf's comments, "It's hard earned revenue, and should not be squandered lightly!" She hadn't grown up in a wealthy family afterall, her parents scraped for ever copper they had, theiving from the more well off citizens.

Strend shrugs turning back towards the man,"Ask her, she doesn't really like people knowing."

Tiphareth makes his way down the long stone staircase from his lofty perch in the stands above, quickly making his way across the sand covered stone arena floor. The Eldermage takes a place within the center of the venue, his voice booming by obvious magical aid as his words echo off of the eerily glowing walls, "Welcome All to the revival of the Underdark Fighting Challenge... We have here tonight a great fight between two feisty females that are sure to put on a wonderful show. The only rule here for the crowd is that you do not physically interfere with the duelists. And now... let me introduce the combatants."

Nemisis appears from the south.

Thea settles into a seat with a good view of center arena, waving to a few familiar faces including her bee-keeping fellow healer, Neema. She smiles to the young woman and tucks in her wings, gathering a few snacks to munch on while watching the battle.

Alzar flies up to a ledge overlooking the arena for the best view and lands there all alone to watch the fight with a grin on his face.

Kasyr gave 2000 gold to Evelyne.

Strend bahs at the feline's comment,"I can make that, within... An hour at the most. It will be alright Furball.. How about another bet then, if I lose you get double what I bet. If I win then you owe me what I bet, not double."

Zimri motions to Chaine "Hey love, I'll put 2k on that Sadie lass." The bard then strums a few stings, a small trunk filled with his gold landing at the feet of the one who is taking the cash.

Yiki appears from the south.

Zhaleeah appears from the south.

Redhale will put 2k on Sadie, to give her some support. And is here and what not.

Zhaleeah said, "Everyone can relax now, for i'm here. "

Redhale gave 2000 gold to Chaine.

Taeo appears from the south.

Zimri gave 2000 gold to Chaine.

Alzar spits fire in the sky in happyness that the fight will begin.

Nowfaleena smirked at the elf. "Alright, I'll take you on." She was going to give one of her aliases to Alzar, but he flew off before she got the chance to, which didn't bother her in the slightest. The feline wasn't exactly a people person.

Evelyne gave 2000 gold to Chaine.

Yiki gave 2000 gold to Chaine.

Aiya would, if she could lift the coin from antoher's purse, match her bet on the feline with an equal bet on the contestant. With this thought in mind, she begins to scan the crowd in surch of one who can spare 1000 gold from their pockets. Quite a few many finely dressed folk it seems.

Tiphareth points his hand toward the vampire kit, speaking aloud once more toward the crowd "Here we have the the Snow Maiden herself, Queen of Frostmaw... Satoshi"

Neema seems to be having a hard time coming to terms that she had to wander through the dark to reach the arena, judging by the twitchy, unpleasant looking shivers that pass through her at random intervals. She hoped it was worth it. Her eyes scan the seats for anybody familiar, and don't take long to land on Thea. Her face morphs into that commonplace goofy grin of hers, and the avian makes an overly enthusiastic wave.

Taeo takes a seat somewhere in one of the front rows.

Satoshi feigns modesty and nods lightly at the audience.

Satoshi gave 5000 gold to Kasyr.

Kasyr gave 2000 gold to Chaine.

Alzar yells "anyone want to be sitting up here and have a great veiw just call me and ill fly you up here "

Tiphareth points his other hand toward the merfolk, once more raising his voice toward the onlookers, "And here we have the scrappy young Sadie, ready to prove to all of you here tonight than in the Arena, Anyone can be a Queen. Please give a round of applause for these brave combatants."

Strend chuckles, a hint of amusement upon his face."I hope you don't mind losing this as well Furball." He waits a few seconds, before looking at the various things laying about. Grasping a cigar, he sticks it in his mouth. He then turns towards the feline, speaking in jest. "What do you think Furball? I look pretty fancy eh?"

Strend applauses.

Tiphareth looks toward both of the competitors, "Are both of you ready to begin?"

Kasyr is, surprisingly enough, present. And currently placing a bet on Satoshi, "...Well, I wonder how long this will take, et all..."

Yiki applauds for both contestants and sits in a small corner

Aiya snags one of the many treats lying about while sidling up beside Kasyr, her gaze trained upon the contestants. "Fancy it will be a fight worth seeing?"

Satoshi said to you, "Quite~."

Alzar yells " i repeat anyone want to be sitting up here and have a great veiw just call me and ill fly you up here "

Alzar yells " last chance i wont repeat this again anyone want to be sitting up here and have a great veiw just call me and ill fly you up here "

Kasyr blinks, than glances over towards Aiya, "I'm not sure- Whilst I know Satoshi well enough, if her..prey esn't able to keep up- this won't last long. So, we'll see."

Alzar flies down and lands next to Strend and the feline.

Aiya thoughtfully nods in response to the tiefling, her own bet having been placed on Satoshi as the winner. "I know the kit from somewhere though I can't place her. A passing face perhaps?" All the while the illusionist seems to be staring ahead during their conversation, she covertly glances down to gage his purse size and how easily she might lift some coin from him.

Alzar i flew off while before you could answer me that was rude of me im Alzar mam.

Nowfaleena seems to appear from out of nowhere, spontaneously generating next to you.

Nowfaleena gave a smirk, "If I lose, I'll get it back in gifts anyhow." She rolled her eyes at his antics, "Oh terribly fancy. Why, people would think you were a king!"

Sadie glances around the faces littering the arena's stands as the drow introduces her to the crowd. With her right hand shoved into her pocket and the left curled around the neck of a violin and it's bow, she nods her careless greeting to the people observing the fight. "Ready when you are, shug." She croons, keeping that mischievous grin in place, towards the Ice Queen.

Ekimrelyt appears from the south.

Strend eyed her challengingly,"Pfft, why would I get you gifts? In fact! I think I will get me some more of these fancy cigars... Cigars that I will never smoke, and just keep stuck in my mouth to look fancy." He nods several times, the cigar still stuck in his mouth.

Kasyr 's coin pursue isn't really hidden, the heft little thing dangling off the oddly multi-coloured fluffy 'belt' that was looped around the hybrids waist. Really, it seems the Figment didn't bother to hide it, perhaps because of the ebon sheathe which is cozily nestled right alongside it. "Queen. Tournament winner. General trouble-maker. She's also married to this trouble maker who'se a bit well-know, ou something." Obviously, Kasyr is having a fair bit of trouble resisting a smile at his last comment.

Tiphareth nods to both of the duelists as they indicate their preparedness and makes his way back up to his lofty perch within the stands, looking down as he addresses the crowd one final time. "And now for the surprise, lets make this a little more interesting." The Xalious wood staff is raised high over head before a sudden slam of it's butt into the stone seating. Upon contact with the earth a mighty eruption of steel plates emerge from within the floor of the arena, each of them made of the purest mithril and polished to a mirror finish. The entire arena floor is now littered with these metal protrusions, turning the entire battle area into a veritable hall of mirrors for the two combatants to navigate. To the spectators these metal obstructions seem to be rended naught but minor blurs in their vision due to the massive magical curtain which separates the Arena floor from the viewing area above. "You may now BEGIN!"

Agoyoanye appears from the south.

Harlan appears from the south.

Zimri speaks normally, though his voice is amplified from his earlier humming "And here is something we weren't expecting! A funhouse duel, with two lovely lasses attemtping to attack one another inside! Who shall make first contact with thier foe?!"

Alzar mirrors how the bloody hell are we suppose to see the fight with mirrors in our way.

Nowfaleena seems to appear from out of nowhere, spontaneously generating next to you. Agoyoanye had stepped into the arena. This was not really her scene but what the hell she had nothing to do. Taking a look around she see s a few familiar faces and them she had never really seen. Taking a seat near the exit she looks around for a place to maybe get a drink.

Taeo watches quietly.

Strend spots the good doctor, and yells down towards the vampiress."Ago! Ago! Up here." The elf himself, being at the top row of the place.

Aiya chuckles softly for the term, "trouble-maker" fell short of its mark when in regard of the Ice Queen below. Her keen malachite gaze tracks the combatants through the haze of the curtain while considering how best to complete her bit of thievery. "And which of you made out for the better, kitten or you?" Perhaps she be wise to be less rash and bold around the husband she did not know. A moment passes in silenve while the pair below begins their dance amidst the mirrors while high overhead a booming voice records each executed attack, defense or movement.

Rheven appears from the south.

Thea drank a milky coffee.

Tiphareth walks down from his perch into the main seating area, meeting and greeting the various surface dwellers who've braved the Underdark to come see the show.

Tiphareth stops by Rheven for a moment, "Greetings Archmage, glad to see you could make it. Looks like we'll have a Guild member putting on a demonstration for us this evening."

Sadie isn't expecting to be stuck on the outskirts of a maze of mirrors. Bloody hell. Well, none the less, that violin dangling carefully from her right hand is lifted and tucked under her chin and the well greased bow it quickly caressing the metal cords, producing an eerie, unsettling sound from the instrument. From her pocket, a well defined bottle is easily noticed, and as the musical instrument hums and purrs and whines, that cork-less container begins to rattle; though it's unlikely that the crowd would notice such minute detail. Quickly, the liquid contents there in the bottle shoot out and into the air in a small tendril of what seems to be water. However, therein the composure of the water rests small, finely grated granules of diamonds that call and beckon to the mermaid and the mermaid only. This small cord of water, now hovering above the massive maze thins out into a blanketing cover, encompassing the entire arena's pit. And that's when the music stops. The mineral water falls to the ground, saturating the mirrors, the ground and hopefully Satoshi, and while they whole arena now hums to her, the specific interruptions of sound that will only fill Sadie's ears will direct her towards Satoshi. Every breath the woman takes, every movement she makes will make it clear to the captain where the woman stands. And assuming the water has saturated the kit, Sadie soon begins to sing. Loud and clear a sinle note rings out, echoing off the structures, and turning the liquid that has fallen into the arena into a thin layer of ice that will fracture, splinter and pierce into flesh should the Queen be doused in it.

Agoyoanye smiles as she barely catch the call of the elf over the crowd. "Strend and Nowfaleena" she said to herself. As she stood and grabbed her bag she ran to the top row in a blink of the eye. "How are you?" she pulls out a bottle of peach water. "Are you as parched as me?" she digs in her bag and brings forth some more waters.

Alzar flash steps and appears by Tiphareth's side and says . "hey Tiphareth good idea with the mirrors " and Alzar reaches out to shake Tiphareth's hand.

Zimri nods as he listens to the tune "And it starts out with a rather wet display as Sadie saturates the battlefield! And then issues a cold reception for her opponent, lets see how she reponds to this chilling development!"

Strend chuckled as the Doc made her way up, offering the female a smile."How are you doing tonight ago? And as for thirst, I am perfectly okay, just trying to get use these new surroundings..."

Kasyr gets a positively curious expression on his face, his cattish ears popping up from his mess of hair just moments after, "Er, better? What do tu mean et ..." It's only than that the hybrid takes any sort of notice to what's happening within the arena. Not that it takes him long to comment after he sees the means of attack, "...Madamoiselle erm...Whose name I did not catch, enfin. If you want a prediction. I think quick et painful es likely the result."

Agoyoanye said to Strend, "Yes they are quite diffrent."

Ralien appears from the south.

Strend said to Agoyoanye, "What brings you here Ago? Come to watch the fighters hack each other to bits?"

Kasyr said to Aiya, "Well, as long as Satoshi es feeling Merciful. ..She es pretty well deserving of that title of Frost Maiden, when she wants to be..."

Alexa appears from the south.

Ralien said to Aiya, "What have I missed?"

Tiphareth reluctantly shakes the overzealous man's hand, as he nods, "Indeed, I liked the idea quite a bit myself."

Agoyoanye said to Strend, "It seemed to be where all my company might be"

Strend said to Agoyoanye, "That must be rather unfortunate indeed."

Thea glances from the battle long enough to acknowledge the Archmage's arrival. She offers him a warmed smile, "Hello, love..."

Alzar flash steps and appears in the sky obove the the arena way out of the way of the fight to get a better view of the fight from the sky.

Rheven smirks at Thea, making his way to her side where he laces his fingers with her own. "..Forgive me for being late."

Tiphareth brings a large cigar out of his pack and snaps his finger, sending a long torch-like flame from his fingertips, the Drow brings the flame near the tip and puffs a number of times to char the foot, taking the stick away from the flame momentarily as he blows on the cherry to check it's completeness. Noticing one edge is not quite lit the Drow returns it to the flame for one more puff before continuing to walk about the venue, enjoying the robust flavors emanating from the stick.

Agoyoanye said to Strend, "No not really I like new places."

Aiya fears she must agree whole-heartedly with the halfing and his prediction. "I do agree with you. As for a name, if you must have one, Raven is the one you get." Her words fade away with the pretense of watching how Satoshi will respond all the while calling upon her shadowy and illusionary magics. Hopefully, he'll not notice the layering of both upon her body to mask nimble fingers making way for the quite visible purse, no matter how cozily it rests against a threatening weapon. Still she chatters on to further distract him. "She is the Ice Queen not for her ruling of Frostmaw, but for her talents, yes? If I recall, I saw her freeze something at one point."

Thea winks to the revenant, "I'll consider forgiveness. Care for something to drink? It looks to be an entertaining fight."

Strend said to Agoyoanye, "Well then, who do you think will be winning this fight?"

Aiya said to Ralien, "Sadie has drowned the mirror embedded field with water. We are awaiting the other contestant's reaction."

Agoyoanye said to Strend, "Who is fighting"

Strend said to Agoyoanye, "Satoshi and Sadie."

Agoyoanye said to Strend, "Sato."

Taeo watches Tiphareth quietly.

Ralien said to Aiya, "I can see that. So I just missed the very beginning then?"

Tiphareth said to Rheven, "Hmm... that probably wasn't the best idea considering Satoshi's skill with that particular element, should be interesting to see how she deals with it."

Satoshi 's keen ears don't miss the violin's song from within the mirrored maze as the foxkin delves into her musical preparation, her trademark whistle taking a haunting tune of its own. The Frost Singer, with only the violin's voice to guide her, begins moving through among the mithril walls, listening and humming all the while to coax a layer of smooth ice to creep out upon the floor, up until that splash of enchanted water drops upon her. While her spell isn't entirely interrupted--promising compromised footing to most, Satoshi at least gives pause, her ties with the element alerting her to the foreign substance within the liquid even as it begins to freeze. "Curious~," is all the cryomancer murmurs as she abruptly trills a high-pitched note. The ice coating her does indeed splinter and fracture, but perhaps not quite as Sadie intended: only the shards most laden with diamond dust disobey Lady Frostmaw's arcane call, piercing and shredding skin beneath heavy coat, while the rest shatters away harmlessly at her feet. A dulcet growl comes from the fox then, the sound building into a rumbling, animalistic melody that boils the blood--or more specifically, Satoshi's own blood dripping upon the floor courtesy of Sadie. The crimson droplets patter upon the ground but do not linger, each springing into life in the form of tiny red spiders, scuttling rapidly out into the maze by order of another musical snarl, tracing the call of Sadie's nearby blood--their kin. The wave of arachnids are after one thing: a meeting with the mermaid's blood, by means of fangs and stabbing legs, and if they overwhelm her form beneath them in the process, all the better.

Kasyr stretchs out momentarily, the belt around his waist constricting with the movement, before his hands go to his hips, and the loop goes slack once more. "Mmm. She's an...artiste, je suppose. I've seen her make things with ice that a sculptor would envy, forge a blade that a blacksmith would shed a tear over- and wreak such havoc, that it would drive a sadist to the brink of ectasy. She's a walking disaster, in the best sort of ways- ...if she doesn't dislike tu. Also, C'est un plaisir, Raven. A pleasure, even."

Zimri chuckles "Well, a musical night my friends! It seems that the sound of a ladies singing CAN in fact break apart reflective object, though in this case more ice! But what a buggy mess Satoshi has created in return! Lets hope he mermaid isn't affected by arachnaphobia!"

Strend blinks at the rather, unique attack of Satoshi's. He turns towards the vampiress a expression of amusement upon his face."That..... that.. That is so cool!" The energetic of the elf seeping through, as a large smile grows upon his face.

Agoyoanye shifts in her seat. This was not the normal place to be. The smell of blood was beavy and since the bar fight she had been unstabble

Aiya said to Ralien, "Just the beginning, the battle has yet to truly begin."

Taeo also s***s in his seat, if only to get a better view. He opted to move higher, somewhere a few less tall folk were. Taeo oocly makes that shifts, real-quick like.

Rheven said to Tiphareth, "We shall see."

Aiya tosses a disgruntled look towards the halfling though is instanlty replaced with a beaming smile. "And you...I did not quite catch your name?" With a glance at Ralien, she beckons him closer while still pondering how to snare that damnedable purse.

Tiphareth sends an undead servent over to Taeo's location to clean up the mess he's left behind in the seat.

Thea said to Rheven, "I would offer you something a bit more..satisfying, but not in such a public venue. "

Alzar lands and leaves

Ralien was successfully enticed to approach the high-elf's side, though visual focus remained on the warring combatants. As impressive as the display was he was more keen for it to end so he could collect his money.

Tiphareth grabs a dark-elven wine from one of the trays being carried around by scantily clad Drow females and brings the fine spirit to his lips with a satisfying gulp.

Alzar exits south.

Sadie begins hedging herself deeper into the maze once her attack has been executed, and as she does so, the rhythmic, and nearly silent, patting of her right thigh demands the ice that she has frosted the ground with melts; she refuses to give herself away to the Queen when the ice under foot cracks with her weight. However, these mirrors don't help. Left and right, images of her figure are thrown onto the reflective surfaces, and then those mirrors volley her picture onto another and another and soon it's a never ending vicinity of Sadie's. Unfortunately for her, her narcissistic ways aside this time, the necklace that hugs the slender column of her neck, the merfolf artifact that she herself created, betrays her and forces her to nearly pine for the images in the mirror. Herself. Damnit. Her left hand traces and caresses each mimicking image in passing, longing to lounge against the mirrors and croon to their perfected picture. However, the moment comes when those ferocious blood borne spiders are felt, creeping up her legs viciously and gnawing into her flesh. Her yelp rings out, laden with her own bardic magic and with a growl to mimic Satoshi's own, those spiders decompose and splash over her bare feet, staining them a gory red. Now, those blue eyes of hers settle on that red mass, and her lusty need turns into something much more bloody; the need to see blood rivals her need to covet her picture in the mirror. What water has melted into the ground seeps out and races towards the Queen, and the water in those bottles there in the stands, like Ago's peach water, shoots out into the arena and over the ground, draining with it whatever liquid it can from the arena; what ever coagulated blood lingers from previous fights, her and Satoshi's blood, her ice… it all forms into a directive path, following the scent trail those spider's left in their wake. And with an animalistic furry, Sadie races after the hunting water. If the liquid finds Satoshi first, it will curl around the woman's feet and freeze and refreeze with each command from Sadie's voice. The captain however, with each passing image of the ice maiden seen, delivers a strong left jab to the mirror's face, just testing. When Satoshi is found, it's a safe bet to say that Sadie will deliver the same left jab to the woman's face as she did the mirrors.

Taeo was starting to get a tad excited, watching the two fight. Quite. The somewhat energetic Gnome might even squeel, and cheer, though the noise is surely died out by the masses already doing the same.

Ralien sharply ducked to avoid getting cracked by a flying wine bottle.

Kasyr used Savant`s Extract of Stamina.

Morvious dropped 20 Rally cap.

Strend cheers at his new found rally cap!

Zimri blinks "Well, it seems the fishwoman also has a bit of an eye fer herself, and is almost in heaven. If it weren't for those insects, we may have seen more than we bargained for! But her recovery is no idle moment, as many of you now have nothing to quench yer thirst with! What shall the Vampire kit do when all that liquid reaches her, or worse, that enraged Sadie with a boxers right cross?!

Morvious said, "ooc 1 For each of you."

Nowfaleena let out a huff of amusement at Strend, "Because you love me, and I'm carrying your child." She replied to his question of why he would get her anything. As for the part about him keeping cigars in his mouth to look fancy, she muttered a reply, hoping it would be lost to the ears of the rest of the crowd, "You don't have to look fancy, you're already wonderful."

Strend sighed at the logic,"Pssh, I would rather just get the kid a present.. Tis not like you deserve one anyway!" He chuckles a little at the reply.

Thea looks on and agrees with Zimri, "Aye, it looks as if she really wanted to dive into herself there. Something in all that water perhaps? And boy is she packing a punch for the Ice Queen. I wonder what will hit Satoshi first, the water, the ice..that man's wine, or Sadie?"

Tiphareth dropped 10 House D`Artes Shag Tobacco.

Taeo takes a pinch of the tobacco with half an eye, gaze never far-astray from the fight going on. Things had flown over his head, another momentary squeel, followed shortly by an near zealous squee. There is a difference. Soon, from sling on back, a small wooden box is found, pipe retrieved, tobacco placed, and he looked around for something to light it with. That part hadn't been considered.

Nowfaleena rolled her eyes at her mate's logic, then turned her attention back to the fight. She didn't want to lose her side of the little bet she had made with Strend, it would teach him a valuable lesson in her opinion, "C'mon!" She called out to Sadie before turning back to Strend, "If not because of the kid, then because I saved your arse so many times!" She replied over the roar of the crowd, sipping at the water that Ago had brought them.

Aiya remains silent, her eyes trained upon the fight with crossed fingers in hopes that her choses contestant comes out on top.

Morvious dropped 25 peanuts.

Thea whispered something to Rheven.

Tiphareth notices Taeo looking about for mean with which to light his pipe, a short mutterance flows from the Drow's lips before a small piece of glowing coal coalesces hovering just inches above his palm. A small pair of wooden tongs is retrieved from his satchel before pinching the object with the tongs and handing them to Taeo. "This should suffice nicely for your pipe."

Satoshi feels the dull pangs of her spiders' quick destruction, but not without the hint of triumph where each has drawn blood. Humming her pleasure, the foxkin focuses once more, feeling for the next arcane move by her still out of sight foe. More water. All the water. Perfect. Let it come to her, save her the energy of summoning it. And while Sadie's song-driven liquid seeks her out, Satoshi takes a moment to retrieve an item from her satchel--a staff, taken from the Xalious Tree and gifted with her element's power by the two master mages currently watching. There's something akin to a delighted note in the vulpine's voice when the waters find her and begin forming about her feet, trying in vain to freeze her in place. But the cryomancer's song is not one easily disobeyed, and the liquid mixture finds little purchase upon her frosty boots. "Go home, love~," Satoshi croons to the mini-flood, plunging the butt of the arcane staff within it and whistling a command as Sadie rounds the nearest mirror. The waters shudder once before erupting away from Satoshi and staff, crystallizing into a veritable wall of icy shards directed at the bard with raised fist. Pity Sadie won't find the fox trapped and helpless, instead having her spell turned back on her, and followed by something far more subtle, and far more deadly, if the sudden eerie lilt to Satoshi's voice is any indicator: a chilling numb, seeping into the mermaid's bloodstream by means of spiderbites and feeding ice venom throughout, willing joints to be suddenly stiff and muscles to become lethargic.

Strend shrugs again,"Maybe I let you.. You know morale booster and such.. Couldn't have you drooping through that tavern forever you know." He smirks, as he watches the feline attempt to sip out of liquid that had been previously removed."Must of missed that water leaving your bottle eh Furball?" He chuckles at the feline again.

Morvious dropped 25 Gyro.

Taeo takes tongs in one hand, lighting quickly with a nod offered Tiphareth. The Gnome hadn't noticed how close the Mage was, must have been the fight. After a long drag, he spoke - smoke leaving between parting lips as he did so. "Many thanks Tiphareth D'Artes, many thanks." A moment of consideration, fight now paid half mind, "The taste, it is bold and mellow. A good tobacco. Tasty."

Zimri lets out a soft whistle* Well, it looks like tide of battle shifted on that one! And now Sadie is in danger of becoming Hollow's largest pin cusion! Seems like there may be something else happening, but I can't quite make it out. Lets see how the violin toting misntral(ette?) deals with these newest threats to her possible victory!

Rheven whispered something to Thea.

Thea whispered something to Rheven.

Nowfaleena muttered in embarrassment as she realized her mistake, "Damn it, I forgot. Stupid hydromancy...cryomancy...whatever!" She sighed and set the bottle on the floor, rolling it away with her foot. She lofted a brow at the elf, "I still don't get why you insisted on pestering me..." Again her tone lowered to mutter, nay, a whisper as she spoke her next phrase to ensure the crowd did not over hear her. She then retrieved for herself a bag of peanuts, and shelled one with her claws, popping it into her mouth. She also happened to come upon a gyro, which she made short work of before returning to her bag of nuts.

Kasyr 's expression no longer holds any semblance of surprise, his gaze now characterized by a seemingly studious fixation with the contestants exchange. "Mmm. The coup de grace is coming. ..So this is what she's like, when she's not worrying about defense."

Rheven whispered something to Thea.

Aiya whispered something to Ralien.

Nowfaleena whispered something to Strend.

Tiphareth said to Taeo, "It's the mushrooms and mosses... a various number of species native only to the Underdark, they are blended with the tobacco to give a very earthy overtone that balances the entire flavor. Though I can not take credit for the makup... it was an original blend of the former patron Keter."

Thea offers Rheven some of her snacks, "Care for a nut?"

Ralien whispered something to Aiya.

Taeo said to Tiphareth, "It is quite nice, must say." Tongs were set aside, coal as well, and after a thoughtful nod toward Sadie and Satoshi he spoke again. "They are both skilled no? It is like watching a dance almost. Graceful creatures."

Strend blushes slightly at the feline's whisper, and turns his head to face her. "I think I am as well Furball." He pauses a few seconds, before throwing in one of his usual jokes,"Course, it would of saved me so much trouble if I didn't." He laughs a bit at the feline, the cheerful nature of the man not leaving.

Nowfaleena blinked, then let out an amused puff of laughter, "It would have meant the end of your life, on several occassions, had you not." She turned towards the arena with a frown, "Damn..." She muttered, seeing the predicament her fighter was in.

Ralien said to Tiphareth, "Might you be interested in trade? I'm soon to acquire a bulk of exotic dyes and Rynvalian spices. I'm a merchant, you see. The genius blend is almost sure to spread throughout the surface, and with it, tidy profit for House D'Artes."

Rheven chuckles softly, taking the some of the salty snacks. "...Thank you."

Satoshi gave 1 Chaos Shard to Rheven. Satoshi whispered something to Rheven.

Sadie throws another left jab into the nearest mirror, but the adrenalin pumping in tune with her blood keeps her from feeling the pains of contact. And then, as she rounds the last mirror to find Satoshi and the shards of ice staring her in the face, she quickly vaults to the right, tucking herself into a small square alcove of mirrors and managing to miss the majority of the shrapnel of frozen water. Unfortunately her feet don't make it free from harassment, and soon the numbness is felt as it attacks her muscles and joints. How pointless was it to fight another bard with the same specialties. Before the numbness could steal anymore more of her movement, eyes lock onto a mirrored image of Satoshi and find that water scarf in plain sight. Yes, that was her ticket. A trickster's mind quickly boils with ideas, and soon the woman lets out an ear piercing scream, hopefully misleading the crowd and her opponent that she's in excruciating pain. However, what the sound really is meant for is to seize temporary control of that scarf the ice maiden wears and suffocate her with it by first commanding the water to constrict around her throat mercilessly before freezing it. The spell itself would be difficult to break, and with each whimper, yelp and continued scream of Sadie, her magic would hold onto that wet object of clothing and tug and freeze and tug and freeze until her vocal cords grew horse. But as that happens, her right hand plucks at the smallest cord of her violin, producing a faint high pitched tick, commanding her blood to filter the polluted most part of it out of her body through pores on her flesh and the wounds the spiders inflicted, allowing her more movement than what would be expected. She would sure be a gory sight after the end of this.

Aiya takes this as her opportunity to relieve Kasyr of his coinage and the cloth that holds them from its place on his belt. Illusion still layers her actions so that she dose not appear to be doing more than simply standing by both Ralien and Kasyr's sides, eyes trained upon the event. However, she is truly up to no good. She even manages to whisper a retort to the rogue while, with a dagger in one hand, she makes to cut the strings and claim the purse for her own. "Is she often worried about defense, or does the kit have a well rounded base?" Hopefully the continued banter would further the halflings distraction.

Aiya whispered something to Ralien.

Tiphareth said to Ralien, "What kind of arrangement did you have in mind?"

Taeo eyes Ralien.

Eliah appears from the south.

Strend shrugged,"Guess I would of died then eh Furball? What would you do then?"

Ralien said to Tiphareth, "Perhaps when I have samples for you to examine, we can discuss the matter further?"

Zimri winces "Lets hope those cries don't spell the end of this fight! But what's this, it seems Satoshi is having a bit of troubles with her attire! Perhaps things aren't quite as they seem?! Will the vampiric singer have her notes cut off for evermore, or will she be able to save her neck by some means?!"

Ralien said to Aiya, "A valid point."

Tiphareth said to Ralien, "Very well, you can schedule a meeting through messenger to House D'Artes and we'll discuss the details then."

Nowfaleena smirked some as she madeher retort, "If you hadn't pestered me, then I wouldn't have cared, now would I have?" Her ears pinned flat to her head as the mermaid shrieked, and hands quickly flew up to further block out the sound by covering the tufted ears. The caracal's sense of smell was hit with a wave of blood, and it made her stomach churn, and after she had been doing so well today too!

Aiya whispered something to Ralien.

Knelltic appears from out of the darkness, the forsaken's lithe frame seeming to take shape next to Tiphareth.

Ralien said to Tiphareth, "I look forward to it."

Strend was rather happy he picked the top of the stands, as the sound was not quite so terrible to his ears... Well as terrible as it could of been. He placed his hands over his ears, and turned to face the feline."Would you rather I didn't?" He places a smirk upon his face, the sound blocking out mostly by the distance and hands covering his ears.

Ralien whispered something to Aiya. Aiya whispered something to Ralien.

Kasyr is mostly paying heed to the fight, offering a quiet, "Missed" and a tsk, towards the events happening below. The hybrids surprisingly well informed- for some reason or other. "As to her tact-" ..It's really not Aiya's fault- at least, not for her choice in marks. After all, how could she have predicted that the oddly colourful and fluffy belt around the hybrids waist was just his tail, the tip carefully hidden within his coat to preserve the 'illusion', ...And make sure it didn't wave all over the place and spill his gold all over the floor. The pause is only momentary, however, The Kensais' tail flicking out from his coat and unfurling with all due haste- if only to flail around in the vicinity of where his purse snuck off to. Really, he's just hoping to curl it around whatever the offending limb is- so he can get his mysterious purse snatcher to hold on until -after- the fights done "...ics are usually a bit more defensive- though it might be because of moi. I'm a touch...difficult to contend with?"

Nowfaleena huffed softly, shouting to be heard over the screeches and the sound of the crowd, "Don't be silly, stupid elf! Of course I would rather you didn't!" She let her hands drop away from her ears, which remained pinned flat against her hair. Using her claws she shelled and devoured another peanut.

Satoshi 's moment of amusement at hearing Sadie's scream comes to an abrupt halt when she discovers her scarf likewise reacting to it. Constricting, threatening to strangle her... a brief moment of panic ensues before Satoshi suddenly pauses, blinking almost in embarassment. Fear of suffocation is in the past, not one a vampire needs carry any longer. Smirking maliciously, and simply ignoring the scarf for its inconvenient motions, Satoshi turns toward the source of Sadie's cries. Staff taken in one hand, the other unsheathes the frost-katana, Ko'tar, at the fox's hip, allowing the blade to sing in delight at its sudden freedom. And sing for Satoshi as well, for while her own voice is inhibited by her scarf, Satoshi's musical familiar of a sword is more than willing to sing in her place. Swinging the katana in slow, rhythmatic arcs, Satoshi approaches Sadie with a deadly calm, letting Ko'tar's voice build in tune and sound. And with each note from the sword, the Xalious staff pulses in an azure light, arcane powers awakening with the call and sending forth its own call: a song to Sadie's very blood, one only a vampire can truly sing, magic pouring into the command in attempts to force the mermaid's own hands to clasp around her neck in mocking return of the prior attack. And as if attempts to turn Sadie's own body against her aren't enough, the ice and water coating the ground from the battle likewise find a sudden desire to do her harm in the form of a sluggish wave building behind Satoshi with each step, following like an obedient dog before the staff is leveled in a harsh gesture at the mermaid in obvious command: Attack. Without hesitation the frigid waters rush by the foxkin, seeking to flood over Sadie in a bone-aching cold wash and solidify, trapping her in a tomb of ice with still further promise of suffocation.

Ralien whispered something to Aiya.

Thea said to Zimri, "Now that was a cold maneuver if I ever saw one. That'll teach her never to mess with a girl's accessories."

Knelltic said to Tiphareth, "Greetings master."

Strend drooped his head to hide the amusement. He sat like there for several seconds, before finally tilting his head back towards the feline."So! You would rather I didn't pester you eh? Well then I can leave!" The elf stands to a part of the bench farther from the feline, a smug look upon the elf's face.

Zimri sighs "Even a sword can make music now, may 'ave ta find me a new vocation sson, but back to teh fight folks! Seems I was mistken, and air isn't so important for some... However, for others it most certaintly is as our Mermaid finds herself in a breath taking counter strike! And to make matters worse, it seems the swell of sound is also coming to bear down on her in the form of a tsunami! Will the end be so crystal clear, or is there still a few more tricks to see?!"

Aiya , with her hand surprisingly secured by his tail, must now make a snap decision as to whether she wishes to cause a scene and riot in the middle of a well planned event or wait and attempt for a more subtle exit. Crimson stains her cheeks nearly as dark as her rubicund curls or the russet silk tied about her body, but as shamed as she is by such a petty ploy, she does not faulter in her reaction. With his purse still held tightly between her fingers, her second hand swoops in, blade swiping at the fluffy bit in hopes he will loose his grip. "Oh, you don't say, she mutters darkly though with respect to the halflings cunning. She wasn't often bested and could well appreciate those who made the game all the more fun.

Tiphareth nods toward Knelltic, "Greetings, glad you could make it to the show, though it appears as though it may be waning at this point."

Zimri said to Thea, "*laughs* Quite true love! Seems getting the cols shoulder is a bit literal in this case!"

Thea said to Zimri, "Indeed. Good time to break out your scarf, provided it's not made of water that is."

Knelltic said to Tiphareth, "A pity, for perhaps I would take my chances in the arena."

Thea moves to the table of goods and picks up another cap, taking it back to where she and Rheven were seated. The Druidess grins at him before placing the cap on his furry companion, "Ah, excellent."

Nowfaleena huffed again at the elf's departure, two could play at this game, "Alright then." She smirked, turning her attention back to the fight and watching as Satoshi goes into yet another seemingly unavoidable manuver, hopefully not one that would end in the failure of Sadie to win!

Sadie only seems worried about the blade, in all honesty. It's singing ways unease her greatly and with the majority of her movement given back to her, she rakes her fingernails against the nearest mirror, a unpleasing tune, but music in its own right none the less. It calls to that sluggish, languid mass of water that Satoshi threatens to encase her in. Just before it washes over her with its frigid temperatures, Sadie finds herself with her hand around her throat, choking her and starving her for air. Thankfully however, that icy water soon bubbles around her freezing just enough to keep her from hearing the cry of the kit's sword and thereafter, she's no longer trying to suffocate herself. The brief contact of water allows her to partically transform, small gills just behind her ears slit open and from them she is able to produce a hoarse hum long enough to nullify the spell of Satoshi just within the icy block, leaving the center of it water and thusly, the captain suspended safely there in it. She'll play possum until Satoshi believes her to be dead, and once the woman's spell is broken-if not by her own doing, then by Sadie- the mermaid, who is still desperately trying to keep her fishy secret just that, a secret, she'll fall from that bubble of icy and water and choke out a believable cough.

Taeo watches the fight, occasionally puffing from pipe.

Tiphareth said to Knelltic, "If you show up at the right time that's certainly a possibility."

Rheven smirks as the druidess places the cap on the head of the raccoon, who promptly shuffles over to Thea and quite literally stands, reaching for any food she may have.

Strend decides to try and hold out, watching the feline with interest. Debating how long she can hold out, and ignore the elf.

Nemisis walks into the arena area quietly after a long week of healing. His head Melody was not one to mess around with when it came to her job. Bedrest to one such as Intelligence was like a jail. Built up masses of curiousity not being able to be quenched, he did his best to behave. Should he have tried to escape, Melody might have made the draconian stay longer. But the past was the past and he was free. Stepping out of the shadows that magnified the ruby color in the man's eyes; he simply took a seat, scratching the side of his head constantly. In his head the personas were chatting about the ongoings. Intelligence said to the others, "Oooh look what I stumbled upon! An arena with so many fights!" Honor actually got up from laying down and walked over to watch more intently, "Finally....some entertainment..." Intelligence's bolt was clicking rapidly as he mindless turned it, "Who you telling!? I was bored stiff in that bloody room. All those injuries surrounding us! She wouldn't even let us help!" Honor gave him an obvious look, "You knew the percentage to that...." Intelligence pouted saying, "Still.." Mischief was drumming his fingers at the battefield, "Such an inegnious design! I love it!" Even Madness found some entertainment in the battle, "So much blood! I love it! Brutality at its finest!....In a controlled environment at least..." Joy had fell asleep ontop his head, shuffling oddly, still balancing somehow as he walks over to get a better view. His chains clanking with each step, bounded by the rules. Spree had his own fun, bantering about the certain styles everyone came in basically being ignored by the others. This was entertainment at its finest, the demi struck gold.

Kasyr glances at the fight one last time, before shaking his head, "Like I thought...et" Really, the kensai could only imagine how disheartening it was to see his expression, as he appeared only mildly annoyed at Aiyas' attempts to carve through his trail, "Don't bother, Raven- I've already tried. With a rather sharp sword, en fait. Et burning it off. Et seeing if it could be bitten off. I even tried pulling it. But non, That's a peculiar...after effect of an agreement I made, so, you're not exactly going to slip away so easily. So erm, would tu perhaps be so inclined as to give me that back? Tu know, before I'm forced to crack you in half et toss your limp carcass into the midst of the arena?" Than again, it's likely pretty demoralizing for someone to say something like this with a perfectly cheerful smile, and a upbeat tone.

Zimri covers his ears at the screch andwaits for it to die down before speaking "Seems that "trapped in ice" isn't so bad after all, at least she dosn't 'ave a streak runnin' through her viens! But. the fight does seem ta 'ave gotten out o' her! Lets see how our esteemed judges call this rather frosty fight!"

Knelltic said to Tiphareth, "I hunt the one known as Raven-Mocker, after I dispose of him I can take the time for such a relaxing bout."

Thea dangles a peanut between her thumb and forefinger, waiting for the bandit-eyed creature to snatch it. She giggles as he does just that and scurries back behind his owner to break open the snack.

Nowfaleena was a cat, and cats are very good at ignoring when it is called for. She kept her focus upon the fight, all seemed lost for her candidate, and she sighed softly. Of course, being in the possition of ignoring the ranger, she couldn't tell him she would pay their wager, so she simply sat there, waiting for the inevitable, the death of Sadie.

Knelltic said to Tiphareth, "I bid you farewell master. *offer a humble bow*"

Tiphareth offers a nod toward Knelltic.

Strend had an idea. He grasped a piece of paper from his pack, crumpled it into a small ball, and tossed it at the feline. He then turned his attention back to the fight, as if to remove himself as the suspect of the paper throwing.

Thea grins to Rheven, "Suppose he would like some of this?", she asks while strewing a trail of popcorn from the Archmage to herself in hopes that the racoon would follow.

Aiya pauses momentarily, the knife sliding into its sheath at her wrist though her gaze never leaves Kasyr. His odd mannar, cheerful smile and actions elicit the most peculiar of responses from the red-headed pirate, she laughs. A low, throaty sound that might draw the attention of those near-by, but still she leaughs with her head tilted back and wrist secured by his tail. Hands come together around the bag, nimble fingers lifting a few coins from it as she tosses it back to him, the action practiced and smooth. "You are an odd one, but I have more respect for you than the cowards who hide behind guards and walls to protect what is theirs."

Nowfaleena blinked at the sensation of being hit by paper. She knew it was Strend. It was the same way he had first tried to gain her attention in the tavern. A small smirk played over her features, despite her sure loss in their private gamble. As for the game of ignoring him, the feline continued on, picking up a bag of popcorn and beginning to munch. Strend cringed, knowing he might of won the best, but he was definatly going to lose this. Sighing, he stood himself back up and made his way to the feline. Grumbling he admitted,"Alright, you win Furball..."

Satoshi coughs out of reflex when the scarf relaxes its hold, no longer under the sway of that Siren Song. There's a particular look of annoyance on the foxkin's features as she eyes the encased Sadie. Taking a step nearer, the frost singer trills out one final note, the sound mirrored by Ko'tar and empowered by the staff to cause the icy shell to collapse. Rather violently, almost... an implosion of ice. Not -quite- enough force is used to kill the snared mermaid, but certainly enough is present to cause internal damage and snuff out the last bit of fight in her. It's not an act of mercy that stops Satoshi from killing Sadie, but rather... a childish need to complain--and possibly gloat, as she resheathes her blade. "It'll take me ages to repair those enchantments. I liked that scarf~! And since you ruined it, I'm taking repayment, with this." Kneeling swiftly, the minstrel plucks Sadie's necklace from her throat, stashing it in her pocket before turning on a heel and offering a deep bow to the audience. "Hope you enjoyed the show, lovelies~!"

Nemisis cosey's up to Redhale and all his shadiness

Kasyr doesn't notice that the bag's just that smidge lighter. He's a bit too pre-occupied with stuffing it into his backpack, since, one or more of the pets inside are trying to slip out while the pouch is being jammed in. It's only when this peculiar little task is finished, that he turns his full attention towards Aiya once more, "Why thank you. I've always been rather fond of dealing with my problems personally. And permanently, for the serious ones." Following those words, the tail around Aiyas' wrist squeezes once "..So, Raven- Now what? I mean, it occurs to moi that with tu caught et all, we need to figure something out, hmm? As, you don't exactly have fleeing as a readily available option, en fait."

Nowfaleena looked over at him as he at last spoke to her, "Good. And I meant that I wouldn't want you to not pester me...the wording just got messed up." She reassured him, "As for the 600 gold pieces, I'll have to go to the bank and get them."

Redhale slinks away from the stranger danger.

Thea creeps Redhale out.

Tiphareth stars clapping for the victor as Satoshi removes her prize from the defeated opponent, slowly making his way down the long stairwell into the arena.

Thea stands and cheers for the whole show, "Excellent fight. Brava."

Satoshi salutes Tiphareth with the staff. "This thing is incredibly fun. Thanks, again~."

Redhale creeps back in.

Rheven doesn't know Aiya.

Strend smirks at the feline,"Betting coins you don't have eh?"

Rheven said to Thea, "You may not want to feed him often, dear."

Aiya readily tucks the coins away though her gaze never leaves Kasyr's face even as his tail momentarily tightens on her sword-hand. "Perhaps." She murmurs in turn believing hs statement to be more rhetorical than questioning. With hope, he'd not take her hand away. What kind of captain would she make if she lost her good arm?

Sadie gave 1 Necklace of Luxuria to Satoshi.

Thea blinks at Rheven in confusion then quickly begins to gather the popcorn back into a bag, "Why is that, love?"

Zimri picks up his lute, and begins to play a loud, fast paced tune, that gets the blood pumping in ones viens. His voice rising to be added to the beat "A fine fight to be sure, but now the time is here, fer this 'obbit ta cure!" Nimble fingers plucking the stings, causing the ether to gather so much the air seems thick with it. This the bard directs to both combatabts. As it seeps into them, thier scars start to fade, and most thier pain is relieved, however the more serious injuries are merely stemmed, and leave them a bit tender "We're here, and we all cheer! An applaud ya've earned, even if my money I've spurned!!"

Nemisis seems to appear from out of nowhere, spontaneously generating next to you.

Tiphareth reaches the arena floor before final slamming the butt of his stave into the ground once more, with as much speed and force as they burst into the arena, the metallic structure drive back downward to reveal an open venue floor once again. The Eldermage carrying a large sack of gold slowly makes his way toward Satoshi to give her the award."

Rheven notices the striped furry fiend already nearing the druidess again, reaching his hand for the popcorn bag. As such, the archmage simply points. "...He learns to depend on handouts."

Kasyr said to Satoshi, "Heeeeey. Heeeeeeeeeey. Goooood Joooob. "

Sadie doesn't have time to scream before she succumbs to her unconsciousness once that block of ice and water implodes on her. It is for sure, that Sadie is a soggy, saturated, bloody mess of woman.

Eliah had taken a good deal of care to move throughout the Arena's attendance without being one noticeable above the din. He arrives in short just a mere pace from the rather captured Aiya, his hand is smoothly, calmly even, placed upong the hilt of his basket-hilted rapier. A whispered word follows, casual and evenfeigning ignorance to the actual even happening with the woman.

Thea chuckles amusedly at his behavior, having long enjoyed watching these creatures in the wood, "Aye, well..with me around he'll not have to worry. Though that means you would have to be willing to keep me about as well.." Her grin spreads and she gives his hand a small squeeze.

Eliah whispered something to Aiya.

Aiya hastily answers his question with a quick shake of her head. She'd see this through, unless it ends in death. That might pose a problem.

Satoshi kind of misses the mirrors. She enjoyed seeing herself fight, prideful creature that she is.

Rheven said to Thea, "He is quite prone to stealing things. It does not necessarily have to be food."

Kasyr looks somewhat pensive, and only a mite distracted, "..Well, I suppose I could always force tu into my employ. Nothing like someone bold enough to steal from the same individual who beat the king of all dragons...twice." The Kensai promptly looks down towards the ground, staring fixedly as his foot begins to tap. Almost in tandem, the vampires arms cross over his chest, a sort of puzzled look crossing his features. "Place and time..."

Tiphareth gave 10000 gold to Satoshi.

Nowfaleena rolled her eyes at Strend, "I have it, it's just in the bank in Cenril."

Thea 's lips purse at the revenant's confession on the animal's behalf, "So long as it isn't my jewelry or staff he takes, we will get along. And you are a thief as well."

Tiphareth approaches the frost singer, handing over the hefty sack with a jingle. "Congratulations Satoshi for a fine show and wonderful victory. You're welcome to come back next week against a new opponent if you wish."

Satoshi accepts the gold from Tiphareth with a gracious nod, followed up with her lopsided grin. "Well, that was certainly fun, I'll admit~."

Strend shakes his head in disbelief,"Yeah that is what they all say Furball!"

Satoshi said to Tiphareth, "I think I just might. This is far more entertaining than harassing winter wolves. And the money's good too~."

Nowfaleena snatches for his hand to drag him away so that she can pay off her debt, "Come on, stupid elf."

Rheven lofts a brow, just as the furry animal comes back to his side with a handful of popcorn he pops into his mouth with those dexterous fingers. "What makes you say that?"

Aiya remains silent though a thought surfaces, an honest admission that she'd attempt the same feat again and again until earning success. She was a stubbrn lass, if her hair color is any note. With all of the days events, being forced into the halflings employ might serve her well in her other committments. With her new partnership to Mahri, it could never hurt to make contacts even if they were through being captured. So she remains silent while allowing Kasyr to muse.

Strend smirks,"As you wish, Furball."

Thea tosses his furry familiar another piece of the snack then winks to the Archmage, offering the obvious, if not cheesy reply, "You stole my heart."

Nemisis sat there next to a random person scratching that head of his. He resembled a shady person who might randomly make something explode with the general casualty of it being a norm. In his head Madness was like a child in a toy store, "Did you just see that move she pulled! Oh my that was delicious and genious!" He licked his teeth, personally eager for the art of war. Honor actually had a smile of his usual stone face. All he said was, "I wanna fight!" Everybody turned to look at him and shouted in a unanimous, "No!" Intelligence was actually annoyed at that statement and hence cued a rant, "We just got out of bedrest! I am NOT going back to that room for at least two weeks! Your lazy butt might have enjoyed at first but even YOU got annoyed after awhile. Imagine what the hell that was like for me!" Tag! Mischief's turn, "Yea! All those wired, all those possible chances for someone to slip. A boom to go off from the oxygen tanks! I created at least one thousand possibilities to cause mayhem in that room! But no! I couldn't because it was our responsibility to look after our clan!" He would fall into a grumble about responsibilities. Tag again! Madness' even wanted a piece of this! "And all that blood. All those injuries! It doesn't help! Look at me! I'm already bloody chained up! I'm not trying to deal with that place again! Even if Melody's fine. Sven know what I would do! Too much temptation!" Honor looked at everybody with an obvious look ,"Well.....we would just have to win..." A unison, "Shut up!" is given before everybody went back to watching the show. After a brief silence, Intelligence interjected, "You know.....we do have a lot of beauties in our headquarters...." Even nodded in an incoherent agreement. Just then Joy would wake up for a brief moment, his nose bubble popping, causing him to look up with a unruly mess of hair. Scratching it idly, he fell back to sleep on Madness' head, still balancing his body, pulling at his hair as if were covers to no avail. A low grunt and a annoyed stare would be given to the sleep child like persona before returning his gaze to the outside's excitement.

Kasyr tilts his head back, his tail moving to tug on Aiya to draw her closer, "I suppose I could give tu options... Let's see. What exactly -are- your areas of expertise? Beyond having sticky fingers, et no qualms at using them on any individual? I might make this more favourable towards you...peut-etre~"

Satoshi shakes herself off, salutes the Eldermage once more, stows the items filling her hands, and saunters in Kasyr's general direction--curiously watching his 'chat' with the thief that's currently interrupting her attempts to cash in on Prize #2.

Eliah sighs and reclines to some degree, the piratical male glancing stubbornly about the gathered.

Nemisis aura was actually becoming visible from all the personas' chaotic domains being excited at once

Rheven said to Thea, "Shall we return home for the eve?"

Thea said to Rheven, "I suppose so..aye."

Knelltic said to Tiphareth, "I have found what is mine. I now ask a quick favor master."

Rheven said to Thea, "Let us go, then."

Tiphareth said to Knelltic, "What is it?"

Knelltic said to Tiphareth, "That she become of use here, in your kingdom. I believe it will be hard for one to simply waltz in and take her, with an entire kingdom of drow about. She can be used as a barwench, or whatever else you deem worthy of such a pretty woman."

Satoshi nudges Kasyr none too subtly once he's done chatting with the would be thief.

Tiphareth said to Knelltic, "No doubt, we can make good use of her. I'll put her to work in the tavern right away."

Knelltic said to Tiphareth, "Then I shall leave her here, I have business to attend to."

Tiphareth looked at Dawn.

Tiphareth said to Dawn, "Have you tended bar before?"

Dawn said to Tiphareth, "No, but I lean fast. "

Satoshi nudges Kasyr. Again. Because she can.

Knelltic disappears with a magical aura surrounding him.

Tiphareth said to Dawn, "Have you spend much time within the Underdark?"

Kasyr spins on his heel once nudged, if only to give Satoshi a playful grin, "Et what do -tu- want, madamoiselle? I thought tu were supposed to be basking in your victory." Kirien said OOC, "...When you both say to RP with the other, that makes it more confusing. xD"

Dawn said to Tiphareth, "This the first time I have been here, I like my wide open spaces. " Satoshi promptly dons a pout. "I -am- trying to bask in my victory. Place, here. Time, now."

Satoshi adds as an afterthought, "Then, place, home. Time, not to long from now."

Dawn attempts to smarten herself up a bit, to hid her uneasiness.

Tiphareth shakes his head and sighs, "You gotta watch your back here... and your front, ya never know who might want to kill you." the Eldermage snaps his fingers and a man comes running up, armed with a Drow Deathlance and medium sized shield. Jhakkal, “Stay near this woman and make sure no one kill or runs off with her.”

Tiphareth gave 1 drow mercenary to Dawn.

Kasyr smirks, before his tail curls about Satoshi's waist, "I suppose there es no time better than the present~ Though, yes, the home es the preferred spot for this sort of thing~" And with that sly remark out of the way, the vampire moves to kiss the feline deeply, if only to pull back and incline his head towards the way he'd originally arrived, "Shall we? I think tu put on enough of a show earlier, without being pulled into this, after all."

Satoshi offers the arena a final look before replying to Kasyr with a smirk, "I suppose so~. One show's enough for the people, after all. Leave 'em wanting more for next time or whathave you." Idly fiddling with the tail coiled about her, she shuffles toward the exit. "Shall we~?"

Dawn swallows hard, " I noticed" icy eyes sweeping across the arena before settling back on the Drow " umm, thank you" casting a uncertain glace at the lance wheeling mercenary named `Jhakkal.`

Kasyr isn't really all that interested in shuffling. Really, once Satoshis' moving, the Vampiric Revenant breaks right into a jog, intending on veritably tugging the feline onwards and outwards- so they can go about their planned 'festivities'. "Let's."

Tiphareth said to Dawn, "The folks down here like to see a little skin on their waitresses, do don't be getting too modest the clothing, and don't be surprised if you see people walking around in the buff, it's their way of showing off superiority."

Satoshi said to Kasyr, "Fine then. Race you!"

Dawn raises an eyebrow questionably " charming, then should I be showing more?" indicating her bear shoulders and arms.

Tiphareth said to Dawn, "I'm just saying the most skin you show, the better response you'll get. The more you've got covered the more people are gonna think disapprovingly of you, and down here when people disapprove they generally do more than just give funny looks."

Dawn said to Tiphareth, " All right.. that may take so getting use to."

Tiphareth said to Dawn, "Very well, I've other matters to attend to at the moment. You should be fine with your guardian and can get to work any time. There is a drow male working there now who is a bit unruly but will surely show you the ropes. Just tell him I sent you."

Dawn said to Tiphareth, "-dips her head- dont let me keep you then, I will get right to it, farewell. "

Dawn exits south.
