RP:Trouble With The Boss

From HollowWiki

Backgroud

Raziel, and Kraar, had the bright idea that the elf could get over her sensitivity to certain noises by causing the noises and just getting over it. Unfortunatly it causes so much pain that she maintains an appearance of being hung over. This looks especially so when her boss, Muraski, sees her leave the tavern. Soon after Sempter finds her speaking with him, and decides to approach the young woman once more.

You Should Work On Your Drinking

Ranok grumbles about uncooperative women and skittish elves. He sighs as Ty spins, "So much for not likink a dress. Also:" He leans in.

Lita lofted a brow at the strangers. She gave the ballerina girl a quick once-over. "Horses are like people, doll. You have to find the right one. You can't go tryin' to be friends with one on account o' they're jus' pretty. They have voices, y'know? You have to listen to 'em, find the one that's willin' to make time for you as much as you're willin' to do for them. You find the right one, treat 'im right, and he'll be the best thing you've ever known." She shifted slightly as Hanan slid into the saddle behind her. Fingers threaded through the last of Stormy's mane and she patted his neck again. "Well, almost." She added as an afterthought. And then she nodded to Hanan, cue for a swift exit.

Ranok whispered something to Tysinni

Tysinni frowns at Ranok as she stops spinning. Hands on hips, she glares at him, "Its a disguise, not a dress." At least that's what she told herself. But she nonetheless still looks a little happy about it. "What do you think Nia would say about my dre...costume?"

Raziel walks out fo the tavern, raven on shoulder, and walking cane lightly touching the ground as the 5' 10" elvish woman walks outside. She pulls her hood down, further over her eyeless, faceless wooden mask. She then heads closer to the trees, she seems to be ignoring anyone in Kelay Way, as she moves.

Ranok didn't feel like relaying the bad news, "Don' know."

Hanan shrugged. "Yeah, they have voices, but they only say "neigh" and such." She gave Ranok and Ty a mock salute--two fingers to her temple--before urging the horse up the road.

Tysinni frowns slightly, about to reassure him of their ability to reclaim poor Niawtu, when suddenly she spots someone out of the corner of her eye. Absently, she waves goodbye to Hanan, before turning her attention to a familiar short person. "Oh look! My new hobbit friend!"

Muraski just rather appeared leaning against the tavern wall, eyes fixed upon the people about..

Ranok looks about, "...vho?"

Raziel could sense her new boss hanging around and quickly straightens up, and snaps her arm back to her side. The young elf looked as though she was hungover, before she did this, and she passed him, hoping he'd say not a word... Especially not a loud one, at that.

Muraski stared at Raziel as she walked about as if she had a hangover. A few quick steps would find him to the blind woman within moments and a tap upon her shoulder would allow her the knowledge of his location, "Glitch? Feeling alright?" He sighed, "Don't you think having a hangover already is a bit sad? You should work on your drinking."

Raziel flinches, and just about hits Muraski with her walking cane, before she realized that it -was- him who had touched her. She pulls up her mask, so he might see her face and blindfolded eyes and gives him a sheepish, though pained smile. "Trust me, boss, drinking would've been less foolish than what I did... Never should have tried to make my ears immune to certain sounds... Just made everything worse." She then rubs her temples for a moment and grumbles "Let it be known metallic noises do nothing to cure ones ears." the woman lets out a sigh from her light rose lips, then.

Muraski flinched in response as the cane nearly hit him, stopping short. He sighed at the female, "How is drinking in anyway foolish? I believe you lack the understanding of what drinking does for a person." Then she went off about metallic noises and the man's eyes rolled, "You can't make yourself immune to sounds unless you're going to get yourself some ear plugs.. Shouldn't be to hard to find, just ask about.. Though, I must ask, why are you trying to immune yourself against sounds?"

Whisper, Whisper

Ranok whispered something to Tysinni.

Tysinni whispered something to Ranok.

Raziel replaces the cane to where it was touching the ground, and sighs. "Well, ear plugs would do me little good... And drinking wouldn't be good for someone as myself... Lack of balance and such would be dreadful for me... As for what I was doing... Well..." at this she leans in a bit closer to Muraski's ear, and explains to him, so that he might understand her, without anyone else hearing.

Tysinni whispered something to Muraski.

Raziel whispered to Muraski, "I was trying to make myself immune because any overly high pitched noise, metallic sound, or anything of the like... Or even just a loud boom of sorts... Really hurts my ears. If I got caught in a battle and someone found out my weakness, it could mean a lot of trouble from my end."

Ranok whispered something to Tysinni.

Muraski nodded at all the words spoken, he understood exactly what the female meant. "I see, I see.. Have no fear, I won't explain to anyone such a thing though I think it's rather easy to figure out." He leaned in and spoke in a low tone. After the message had been stated he took a seat upon the earth, "Hmm, one day, I'll be showing you the joy of alcohol. It'll be good for you."

Muraski whispered to Raziel, "You should not wear the blindfold and masks that cover the eyes, should you not want people to know your weakness."

Tysinni whispered something to Ranok.

Ranok whispered something to Tysinni.

Raziel looks thoughtful about all of Muraski's words and nods once. "Yes, well... As it happens, I have noticed the, sometimes, the easiest things to figure out are often the hardest to be seen." after she states this she takes her mask and places it within her satchel, soon taking the blindfold from her face, though keeping her eyes closed for a while after, as she stuffs the blindfold away as well. She gives the raven a motion, and he flies off to the roof of a near building, to watch over the area of Kelay Way. Raziel, then, steps once back from Muraski and sits upon the ground as well, still keeping her eyes closed. "I believe that my eyes will cause much uproar, however, Muraski..." she says, after she sits.

Sempter appeares from the West, tightening his sword around his waist. The voice of Raziel is caught and he smiles, then approaches her, "Evening, Raziel." He noticed she took off her blind fold and stood back, waiting for her to open her eyes.

Muraski nodded in return, "I could not disagree with you on that matter Glitch, as the eyes are rather spectacles to be seen. This is why I reccomended the glass eyes, they would help you in the belief that you're not blind.." He made a small frown then lay upon his back.

Tysinni blinks and gives Muraski a confused look. "Yeah, well, I know the feeling." She was back to being unsure about things again. She sighs and starts patting the pockets of her cloak. "Damn thing....where'd it go?"

Raziel said to Muraski, "Boss, *she lightly giggles, as she turns back to him momentarily* I would not trade my eyes for all the money in the world. I don't particularly like them, but they are mine. And I plan to have them till the day I die."

Muraski said to you, "I wasn't asking you to trade I was simply saying you would blend in easier."

Sempter grins and speaks softly, "You should show your eyes when you want to. You still owe me a peek from last night." Sempter reached out to take her hand and bow to kiss it, if she let him. It was his way of showing respect and the fact that he has taken a liking to her, despite his beastial looks.

Ranok said to Tysinni, "So....vat iz de plan?"

Raziel said to Muraski, "Oh, I'm not worried about blending. If I was worried about that, I wouldn't have taken a walk through Sage, earlier, with my hood down. You see, I find blending to be too boring. Being unique is far better, I believe. "

Tysinni whispered something to Muraski.

Tysinni said to Ranok, "I can't tell you here! Jeez, have you no sense of secrecy?"

Muraski said to you, "I didn't mean blending as in being ismilar to everyone else, I meant blending as in, no one would recognize your weakness. As it is, I can exploit it to no end and leave you a corpse of the person who sits next to me. Even with broken hands I'd find you an easy target. You need to be more careful then I."

Raziel turns back towards Sempter, allows him to kiss her hand. "Aye... I do, don't I?" she says, with a soft smile. "I can only hope that they don't cause you to react oddly towards them..." At this, she opens her long lashed eye-lids, a bit slowly and reluctantly. There, rather than two normal blind eyes, where two perfectly white orbs. No pupils. No irises. Nothing but white. She takes a bit of a deep breath, and releases it, as she purses her lips and looks towards the whereabouts of Sempter's face.

A Gentleman

Sempter takes one of Raziel's hands and places it on his face so she knows where its at. He even bends over some, seeing as he is nine feet tall. He stares at and into her eyes with his ice blue ones, "Your eyes are fine and I find nothing wrong with them." He moves his snout next to her ear and whispers to her again.

Muraski whispered something to Tysinni.

Raziel said to Muraski, "*Raziel turns towards Muraski, looking him directly in the eyes with her own blind ones. Yet there is a smile upon her lips.* Boss. I'm 336 years old. I believe I shall live for, at least, I good while yet. After all, I've remained hidden all those years, and only now show myself to the public of my own choice. *she then turns back towards Sempter.*"

Muraski said to you, "I believe the cow fancies you. I'm almost sure of it.. "

Ranok said to Muraski, "Kindly do not insult my bodyguard. He iz onder my employ, und Hy von' schtund for such tinks. "

Sempter said to Ranok, "Let it go. They are only words and cannot hurt me. My head may resemble a cow and I do not mind the names. "

Raziel smiles to Sempter and nods "Thank you. I am, very much, happy that my eyes have not bothered. you." However, upon hearing Muraski's words, she turns to her boss and says, with a frown. "Careful, Boss. My singing can just as easily un-do the healing I used upon your hands last night." even though Muraski is her boss, she would not allow any rudeness.

Muraski said to Ranok, "I insult the cow by calling him a cow? That'd be like saying I insult you by stating you as an ape."

Ranok says in a musing tone, "Hy vonder. Iz it possible to break finkers already broken? Vould dey be tvice broken finkers? Perheps Hy may find out soon."

Muraski shrugs, "I sometimes wonder if an ape can speak, then I see you and all my questions disappear."

Tysinni sighs and looks between Ranok and Muraski with a world-weary expression on her face. "Okay, you two. No fighting because then I'd have to interfere and it wouldn't be good for anyone."

Raziel tsks at Ranok and Muraski. First she turns to Muraski. "Boss. If you're fingers get rebroken, I'm not setting them again... Not that you'd want me to as is..." then she 'looks' towards Ranok with her pure white orbs of eyes and says, with a kind smile. "I am sure you've met my boss, and know how to deal with him... You are the one throwing the party, I am to assume? I believe that I shall go to that.... But I'd only ask that you don't break the boss's fingers. I just set them last night, and would rather not have my light work ruined. Thank you." she nods and then looks up at Sempter with a gentle smile.

Ranok said to Tysinni, "Konsiderink dat he kan' even hold a knife, it vouldn' be a fight. It vould be a curbstomp."

Muraski said to Ranok, "You act as if I'd need a knife to beat you, or hands for that matter. I could beat you with using neither of them."

Sempter looks between Ranok and the unknown man, "See, this is why I went into hiding. I was tired of petty arguments like this." He shrugs and turns back to Raziel, "So you are going to the party. I am too, and unfortunately, I have to wear wings. -shudders- I'm happy I will know more than just one person there."

Muraski said to Raziel, "I'd recommend you refrain from telling me what you would do and wouldn’t do under my terms of employment. While I understand your free will is most certainly your own, you also need to respect that fact that I can and will fire you should I find you disagreeable."

Ranok picks up a rock while Mura isn't looking.

Muraski said to Sempter, "Are you going as the main course or perhaps an appetizer?"

Sempter eyes the man, then turns away, ignoring his rude words to keep from getting involved in petty fights.

Raziel is just about to apologize to her boss when she hears his question to Sempter, and goes rock still. She then turns to her boss and even walks towards him, pointing her cane right in front of his nose. "Now listen here, boss, I understand that you can fire me, and I apologize for any rudeness this brings. But you should try to be a little kinder to a gentleman when you see one. I'd rather appreciate if you did. And fire me, if you must, but I will not stand for any unnecessary rudeness." At this she flicks her cane back to her side and whistles for Kraar, as she shakes her head. "I'll be inside, if anyone wishes to have a word with me." She says, taking a deep breath and then moving to the tavern, her headache from earlier forgotten.

Kelay Tavern

Raziel walks in, with a bit of a sigh. Her mask was removed, and her eyes were rather noticeable. White orbs, with no pupils or irises. The blind elf woman soon moves to a secluded table and sits within a chair that is facing the door. Her raven is quiet, as she moves. Once she is sitting she holds her walking cane in both hands, and looks down at the table, softly biting her lower lip at what she had said outside the tavern.

Sempter enters, following Raziel. He pauses and lets out a sigh, before moving over to her and speaking to her, "I don't want to get you into any trouble. Really, his words mean little to me and they do not bother me."

Raziel continues to look towards the table, and shakes her head. "It does not matter. Muraski merely hired me yesterday; he was only going to use me as a singer, and such. I cannot allow anyone to be rude." as she speaks her gloved hands tighten a bit around her cane, though her face shows little emotion.

Sarah steps back, the card house complete. "..phew..done...," she smiles,"...at least I-" her cat runs in and knocks the entire card house down,"...Selfieeee..."

Raziel turns her head at the sound of Sarah's card house falling. "Tsk..." says with a frown. Her magics could not put a card house back together, though if they could she would've helped the child.

Sempter said to Raziel, "Do not let what he says about me or to me get to you. If I must, I will stay away and not intrude and cause problems in your life. -takes a deep breath as the last bit is said in a quiet voice full of longing and kindness- All I wanted was a chance... a chance to be like other men in this world who go around with girls attached to their arms, and families."

Raziel nods a bit to these words. "Indeed." she says simply, but her words sound pained "But... I'm afraid... I could not possibly have a family... I don't think I could go through the pain of losing another one... And I wouldn't wish to pass on blindness to anyone..." she says is a small, quiet voice, not really going into why she feared to lose a family.

Sarah picks up all the cards and puts them back in a stack," sheesh..," she sighs and looks around, seeing Sempter and Raziel,"...," she sits back down and picks Selfie up, setting her on her lap.

Sempter whispered to Raziel, "If only I could have a chance, you would not lose me and blindness doesn't turn me away. But I understand. It's not the first time I have been told no and that it isn't possible to have a family with the likes of me."

Muraski appears from the south.

Muraski said to Raziel, "Outside, I have a job for you."

Muraski exits south.

Raziel looks at Sempter with a saddened face. "I... I am so sorry, I promise..." Suddenly her hands clench the cane as her boss comes in and gives her an order. "Uh... That doesn't sound positive..." she mutters. "Once again, I apologize, dear Sempter." She then stands up and walks around the table to him, giving him a soft kiss upon the cheek. Then she turns and walks to the door, to whatever her first job would be.

Your Tones

Raziel walks out of the tavern, with her cane held in both hands. She moves over to where her raven instructed her boss was and, looking at the ground, simply said "Sorry about that, boss... What's that job you had in mind?"

Muraski scoffed at the accusation, "I can work with a buffoon or a cow, Ty! I do not hold grudges, I simply state the truth when it's needed. If you truly believe I held grudges against such an ape, don't you think I'd of left him to fend for himself against the pompous queen and arrogant drow?" He grinned, "It's just too bad neither of them offered a challenge of words that was worth interest. Instead, they had to resort to a battle of fists, it's a shame when a king or queen can't rely upon their minds to win."

Muraski raised a brow at the female as she returned, "Ahh, you've come back. I simply wanted to say you're to apologize. That's your job, apologizing to me for the tones you spoke." The arrogant man's words were clearly nothing but sheer belief that he deserved one. "Also, on that note, I'd like to state you are hereby more interesting then I originally thought... A mind along with that of interesting skills. I'll make use of you yet."

Tysinni rolls her eyes at her husband's boasting before primly straightening her skirt and looking very much like the lady she's not. "I'd still appreciate it if you two would keep a civil tongue around each other. No reason for such silly spats." She smiles winningly, clearly pleased with herself. In reality, she's trying very hard to restrain her laughter. Being a lady was terribly boring.

Raziel purses her rosy lips as she listens to his words and holds back a sigh. "Very well then... I am entirely sorry that I said what I had to you, and that I had stuck my walking cane in your face. Likewise, I apologize for storming off the way I did. I am 336 years old and should have acted far more mature than I had." that is all she says in her apology. She then bites her lip, softly, as she thinks over what she had said that evening, as her pure white eyes look towards the ground like a nervous child would.

Ranok said to Tysinni, "Hy do vat Hy vant because a blacksmith iz free."

Tysinni gives Ranok her full attention, looking very interested in what he had to say. "And who, pray tell, isn't free among us?"

Muraski chuckled at both the females as they spoke and finally sat up. Eyes focused upon Raziel to start, "Woman, I didn't ask you for an apology on what you said, just on the tone of voice you said it in. You speak to me in whatever manner you wish.. I can't guarantee I'll keep you around but by no means were you wrong when you asked me not to insult the cow." He grinned mischievously before he turned towards Tysinni, "As for you, my charming young wife who is clad in a beautiful blue dress that only she could make look so good." Yep, silver tongue, "I will not be civil to the ape, as I find it amusing to insult such a man. He still has yet to prove any kind of worth or intelligence to me, though he does a rather good job at breaking the common language. A very good job at breaking it." Finally he'd stand and use his arm to open his jacket, "Ty, can you pull a cigar from my inside pocket, I'd do it myself but these hands.. Well, they're incompetent and unable to assist me in such a thing."

Ranok said to Tysinni, "Vell, hyu're married...so not hyu. Dat's for sure."

Muraski said to Ranok, "You imply I keep the woman in shackles. I have only one rule for her, that she gets rest at least every other night.. I take care of the silly woman so she doesn't end up dead from mistreatment of herself. What by chance do you do?"

Zondo walks lazily along the road, cloak trailing behind him as it is kicked away constantly from his heels like an unwanted animal. Crimson eye takes stock of the happenings outside the once overly popular tavern. A sigh passes pallid lips as one is left to remember the good times that were once had within the establishment that has been burned down multiple times and has seen more fights than anywhere else in the lands. As his gaze shifts he notices that there is a group of three people but only one draws the interest of the vampire. Moving quietly into the shadows the man's gaze keeps track of the three, a smile unseen to anyone traces the man's lips as he edges around the shadows, curiously tilting his head as the notices Muraski seems to be getting scolded by some lady while another looks at him as if he has some sort of power. Wondering if the man is going to have his ass handed to him by a female, Zondo amusedly waits and watches.

Ranok said to Muraski, "Hy've saved her life twice, und yous vunce. Kare to keep talkink? Hy kan still change my mind about hyu."

Tysinni blinks at Muraski's rather elegant speechifying, finding only fault with his statements about her friend. She purses her lips before pasting a ridiculous smile on her face and sidling up to her 'husband'. "Oh, Snookums! I would be so happy to assist you with -whatever- you should desire." She's fairly oozing with her congeniality and enjoying it. She knew it would make him suffer. The thief reaches into his coat, pulling out a cigar and holding it aloft. "You know, you may be onto something there..." This last statement was given rather dryly to Ranok.

Raziel scowls a bit, upset that she was told to apologize to him, only to have a smirk appear on her face. "Apologize for tones, you say? Oh, you mean these tones?" At this the elf bard soon begins to sing the healing song she used last night, to further move Muraski's bones enough to heal quicker. Not much of a punishment, but she knew how he hated magic. Once her song ends she turns to head back to the tavern.

Muraski grinned as the cigar was placed into his mouth, rather happily even yet he didn't seem to be finished. "And now, I need a little fire." He moved towards the edge of the tavern and set the edge of the cigar above a torch. It caught fire shortly and he quickly pulled away. With that he turned back towards present company, his wife approached with an ever present grin, as he pressed himself right next to her, perhaps invading personal space and wrapped his arm about her waist, "Oh thank you my dear! You're but so kind!" He turned away, took a deep drag of the cigar and released a large puff of smoke in Ranok's direction. As he turned to face Ranok, Zondo caught his eye, his wife was released, and his pace increased, as he moved swiftly towards the man. "Ahh, once again we meet blood sucker. Have you the time to do the deed we spoke about?"

Muraski felt a slight twinge in his hand, it felt as if it was getting better.. The man cursed underneath his breath but refrained from allowing his present business to be interrupted. He'd find the source later.

Raziel smirks as she enters the tavern, leaving the others outside.

Kelay Tavern Again

Raziel enters the establishment with a much happier smile upon her lips, the woman even pulls her hood down as she makes her way back to the table from before. She even lets out a slight honey-sweet laugh as she moves along.

Sempter catches the laugh and the fact that Raziel has returned and joined him. He leans forward some, "Something good must have happened, if a cute laugh like that is coming from you."

Raziel sits and smiles to Sempter "Ah, I don't know if it's good or not, exactly. The boss... Well, he wanted me to apologize for the 'tones' I used against him earlier, as my job. But, rather, I said an apology, and as I was about to return I sang a healing song, just enough to fix his hands a tad more... That man does so hate magic. Really the only reason he hired me is because of my being an 'oddity'." she says, leaning back in her chair. Soon a sad frown forms upon her face, as she remembered what had been said before her 'job', and she looks at the table, in a bit of shame.

Sempter leans back, "Ah, I know nothing of magic. I was not born a monk into my tribe and therefore i never gained magical abilities." He catches her frown, "Something wrong?"

Raziel nods a bit. "I... I am still very sorry about that we could not be together... It's just.. You see..." she looks like she's having much pain in trying to explain, and soon the words come tumbling forth from her mouth. "I was abandoned by my family because of being blind, so I lost that family. And I was adopted by a pack of wolves who were then all brutally slaughtered by an orc... And... And I just don't think I could ever have a family again, because I don't ever want to lose anyone important to me ever again..." she then trails off, blushing quite a bit at her story tumbling forth as it did. Soon she grabs her hood and pulls it over her face, in an embarrassed way.

Sempter lowers his head, "I understand. I to have lost my family. But I assure you, nothing bad will happen to me. It was worth a try though." He smiles and reaches over to lift her chin up with a soft hand, "But, perhaps being friends is all we need for now."

Groth found himself once again drawn to this tavern. As much as he loved Gamorg or even Gualon more, he would always come back to here at some point. Why? Good question. What mattered was that he was here, now. Any other outlining themes were transitory. He was a Troll after all. Who's gonna force him to do anything other than what he wants? Nobody. Regardless, while his arrival wasn't as much of a shock to the patrons of this place anymore, two things would be. He was neither dragging in a dead carcass to eat nor was he drinking (even if he did smell like he had been at some point before now). He meandered his way over to a suitable table, pushing several others out of the way, and even pushing the people away from the table he found. The previous occupants were quite displeased, but the snarl that followed their glares and disgruntled voices discouraged any action being taken. Many even left. Groth was left to sit at his table alone. After some time, it would appear that he was beginning to get lost in his thoughts. My my, a Troll -thinking-?! A paradox, but true nonetheless.

Raziel 'looks' towards Sempter, from beneath her hood, as he lifts her chin. She, then, lightly bites her lip and says, in a small but still kind voice "Yes... Perhaps you're right, we should be friends for now..." she says, and then a light smile forms upon her face "And we could still go to the party, as friends... I've never been to any type of party..."

Sempter turns to the compstion of tables being moved and noted the troll. He then moved to sit himself between the Troll and Raziel, "Ranok has hired me to be a bodyguard there. I will for sure be there. I myself have never been to a party, never found the time when I was younger."

Raziel removes her hood, as she hears Groth move his way into the tavern, and flinches a bit at the noise of the tables being moved within her sensitive ears. She then turns to Sempter and nods "Then I shall be there too." she smiles, until the scent of the troll snakes it's way up her overly powerful nostrils, causing her white hair to bristle a bit at the scent, as she swiftly covers her nose. ~That must be a troll...~ She thinks to herself, though not in a judging way as Sempter moves between her and Groth. Her pure white eyes continue to stare towards, where she was certain her minotaur friend was. "Even if we only remain friends," she continues on as she holds her nose, her voice coming out a little nasaled "I'm sure it'll still be good for us to at least be there for eachother." The lovely porcelain-like face of the elf woman the turns to Kraar, upon her shoulder. The bird lets out a light caw, explaining to her what he saw, and she nodded. She was not going to let a little thing as scent cause her to be rude and walk out.

Sempter said to Raziel, "Aye, that would be good. I don't know many and I have noticed that the simpilist of words can be offending to anyone. This party will allow me to relearn the world of society, since I have been absent from it for so long. One thing I can do is train animals without fear of offending."

Groth paid no mind to the Minotaur...which was odd. Under normal circumstances he might find himself strangely drawn to such a being due to him never actually meeting one, much less one that is not some zealot of a tribesman. This Minotaur seemed more civilized as it were. Curiously enough, the woman's voice from whom the Minotaur was speaking to seemed to catch his attention. Groth was used to his own smell, and worse so he wouldn't have truly understood her holding her nose if he had been able to see it through the Minotaur's frame. Still, her voice was humorous. It would cause a bit of a chcukle to erupt from him. He had his own pair of elf-like ears after all. He'd then muse to himself, "Woman have funny voice. She must need sneeze."

Raziel strokes the back of her inky-black raven, with her free hand and speaks, with her still covered nose. "Aye, animals are a wonder. They do not have reason to judge from first sight, and can see within one, as well." at this she smiles, for she knew only too well what it is to be an animal. "As for society... It is hard, even for me, to believe this to be my first experiance in the eye of the public... Before I came her I had only known one other humanoid. He was the one whom had taught me defense, and common tongue. I had never forgotten his lessons." she smiles a bit at this, but her smile weakens slightly "Unfortunately, it seems to be a lot harder to tame animals than one would think... Being how I was raised... I fear I will always have a true beast lurking within me, waiting to leap... And only hidden by my lady-likeness..." she looks thoughtful of that, and soon shakes her head. "Ah, but enough negative talk..." the woman says to herself.

Raziel hears Groth's words, and finds that she has to remove her hand for a moment, as she lets out one of her beautiful honey-sweet laughs at his comment. She then moves just enough so that Groth may see her porcelain-like face better. "Oh, good evening sir." she says, her voice like silvery bells "Uh. Yes, I guess I did have to sneeze. Heh, but I'm all better now." she says, with a kind smile, not wanting to be rude to anyone.

Sempter couldn't help himself, but he did speak from his heart to this woman for some strange reason, "Beast or not, you are still beautiful and I am sure the beast inside you is as well." The well built minotaur seemed to be a softy, but it was strange for one to be. His hands were soft like he has never fought a day in his life, but his buff, built size said other wise. His skin, from his shoulders to his hands were a porcelain pink and white fur tufts could also be noted on his elbows. He is dressed in white leather, and his belt is as well. His sword is made from dwarven steel, the hilt a polished platinum enlayed with crystals. The pommel held a single rare blue diamond and if one looked closely, the rings on the minotaurs hands matched the sword handle in materials. His albino color was not commone for a creature like him, but it is his head that could give him away as a tribe like creature. He knew what it was to be a beast and be seen as one.

Raziel turns back to Sempter, and nods her head slightly "Why, thank you for such kind words, Sempter... If only my inner beast were, however." she then shakes her head softly, her soft and short white hair shifting side to side as she did "Heh... Guess I'm not to good at getting away from negatives today..."

Sempter said to Raziel, "But I see nothing negative about you. We all get down on ourselves and that is normal for life to do."

Raziel nods to those words "Yes, that is all very true my friend..." she then shudders, ever so slightly, and quickly covers her nose again. ~I curse this sensitive nose!~ she fairly shrieks in her mind. She was quite certain Groth's scent was not nearly as bad as she thought it was, but her blindness quite caused her senses to be quite too strong.

Groth pulled himself away from his thoughts in order to get a better look at the strange woman. Pretty would be the appropriate term were she a Troll, but she wasn't. Instead, she was just like any other surface woman: A strangely cute or beautiful figure seemed to be what everyone woman seemed to look like on the surface. This fact made him quite confused when he had heard of women struggling to get a man. What trickery is this? they flaunt their stuff and the desired male does not respond as they wish? He would think that such females would be highly prized here, but perhaps not. Oh well, he just assumed the whole lot of women just needed a good rough...roll-in-the-hey. Even so, her eyes did puzzle him, as did their topic of "beasts" that he had only just now picked up on. Groth grunted and forced himself upright and round the table to make his way over to them. He'd make an impromptu entry into their conversation. The Cave Troll sat himself down lazily between them, though not in a belligerent manner, and then first spoke to the Minotaur, "You need help woman, and you no beast, you just bull. Woman need strong man." Then he'd turn to Raziel, "You no beast, you woman."

Raziel blinks as the troll's voice is heard at their table, her raven is so shocked by the sudden closeness that he scooches closer to Raziel's face. "Oh, why thank you, sir." she says, bowing her head to him "That is rather kind of you to say, thank you." ... ~I think?~ She then faces towards Sempter, as she tries to hold back a laugh at the random shift in their conversation, and also trying to hold back a yip and the need to cover her nose.

Brina walks briskly into the tavern smelling like the salty brine of the sea, her hair still drying in short ropes. With a smile she finds Ranok and moves languidly to him, brushing her lips against his cheek then plopping gracefully down beside him. Of course, if he wasn't there she would do all of this, sans kiss, at some table or another

Ranok seemed to be in a somewhat foul mood. He'd been sitting at the back of the room, keeping to himself. He gives Brina a faint smile when she arrives, "Hey."

Groth half expected the Minotaur to react violently upon the Troll so rudely intruding upon their conversation. Of course, to Groth, he felt it was necessary to do so as they -clearly- didn't know what they were talking about. Even so, the Minotaur up and leaving was not something he found normal for his situation. Oh well, he was a Troll, what did he care? Instead, now the woman would have his full attention. In an effort to perhaps show force more acknowledgement of him out of her, he'd give her a toothy grin and speak once more in that monstrous tone. "Woman welcome, but you need strong man." He'd then move an accusing finger to jab at her chest, "You need be stronger." This was Groth's way of encouragement.

Brina looks at him strangely, brows furrowing together "What's up?" It wasn't a whimsical question but one that suggested she knew there was something amiss.

Raziel lets out a little 'Oof' as her chest is poked but then chuckles softly, for she is anything but offended. She can sense that he is speaking with all his best intentions. "Ah, you may have a point, dear sir. I do seem to lack much strength, don't I?' Raziel then smiles softly, as her blind eyes look down to the table "However, I've lived very many years, without a strong man, and yet I still live. Though I do appreciate you concern very much, sir."

Ranok waves a hand, "Ah, noddink. Chust zum idiot gettink on my nerves. Iz all."

Groth would retract his large finger, feeling that he had jabbed his point into her by doing such. It was clear that in Troll society making physical contact with another was just as, if not more, important when trying to make someone understand your view. Though, Trolls tend to do more than poke each other and their women tend to be used in a fashion that most women would either find quite arousing or very disturbing, no in-between. "Woman just need be stronger!" He pounded his chest. "And then you find mate and make strong babies."

Raziel 'looks' upon Groth with a smile. Whether he could tell, or not, she was purely blind. But she could still get a grasp of what he was doing through sound. Soon she nods and says "Oh, of course. I'll work very hard on becoming stronge." she says, giving him a smile. "You know, sir, you are quite smart. I hope you know this." she says, speaking the truth. She had been taught about other races, but the trolls she learned about did not act or talk nearly like the way Groth did.

Brina doesn't ask about it anymore, if he wanted to tell her he would. So she just sits with him, venturing to hold his hand in a sort of comfortable gesture. "People can be stupid" is all she says on the subject before looking around at the goings on of the tavern. Anyone who looked at her would receive either a wink or bright smile.

Ranok lets his hand be taken. His enormous and worn one in her smaller and more artistic one, "A sad state uf de vorld, izn' it?"

Groth blinked in shock. Was this woman actually complimenting...and not about his strength? Mind boggling! In any case he felt that now may be a good time to know this woman's name for future reference. "Me name Groth and me edumacated (ooc: so had to lol). What your name woman?"

Brina smiles as she looks at him and nods, as though they were both in on a very interesting secret "Aye, it is pretty sad. But it's how'it goes yeah?"

Raziel smiles towards him, "My name is Raziel Ravenwolf... But most just call me Glitch. It's a pleasure to meet you, Groth." she says, holding out her silk-glove covered hand to Groth, should he shake hands with her.

Groth thought for a moment before he thought of a new way to say her name. "Raz! Your name be Raz when me talk to you." He sounded almost ecstatic as he spoke, quite proud of the new nickname he had given her. Then came the troublesome task of shaking her hand. Curse his over sized brutish hands. Hell two or three fingers would be all her hand could hold if she was lucky. With a shrug of his shoulders he'd simply take her whole hand into his and give her one good firm shake before releasing her. "Me make you strong woman!"

Ranok waves his hand again, "More or less de same...tryink to pull togedder de decorations for de party. Noddink huge."

Raziel is jerked a bit at the hand shake but smiles. "Raz it is. And I'm sure you will be able to make me very strong." she says, with a smile, as she hits her fisted hand against her chest, once, just as Groth had before.

Brina had been looking around but stops when she hears of 'party'. "What party? For who?"

Ranok cocks an eyebrow, "Don' hyu ever read de board?"

Brina breaks away from Ranok and does just that.

Raziel sighs and swiftly closes her eyes, grabbing the blindfold from her satchel, she would then tie it over her eyes and throw on her wooden faceless mask; finishing up the look by throwing her hood back over the top of her head. Her raven friend was now much calmer, now that the troll had left their midst. And soon the woman simply lean back and puts her booted feet upon the table.
