RP:Trouble At The Red Ogre Inn

From HollowWiki

Background

This rp occurs the day after Muraski takes Raziel fishing... Not much to explain, so enjoy!

Interruptions Abound

Raziel was still sleeping within the bed, but on the bright side she appeared to be gaining the slightest amount of coloring back, though she still appeared very pale. After a while of her laying there, breath seeming to be normal, Raziel would soon take a deep inhalation, and her blind eyes would open just a bit. "Aeon?" she'd ask, still in a bit of a sleepy daze. Whether she's supposed, or not, the woman decides to try and sit up, though she moves with the slowest of motion. Once she is fully sitting up she'd rub her eye lightly and yawn a little. "Are we still at the healer's? ... I -think-... I had a dream that Muraski took me away from there, and brought me here.... And that he didn't seem to approve of you..." there is a frown upon her pale lips when she says that. Truly, it seems like the elf isn't sure whether she was dreaming or not. "Ooog.... And I feel like I just got off of a boat...." that part was mumbled and spoken in confusion, as her daze still clings to her.

Aeonis was already awake, sitting at a small desk writing a letter to Roytoc. He had just put the finishing touches on it when Raziel spoke. There was a bowl of fruits on the desk next to him that he had brought for her, and it was obvious that Aeonis had done much this morning. His stressful mood was mostly gone, and he seemed relaxed once more. "I wish it had been a dream." Aeonis said with a small chuckle. "But all of that is true, minus the boat part." He sealed the letter and sat next to her on the edge of the bed. "Sleep well, my love? I had hoped you would wake soon."

Raziel blinks a few times, and has a slightly shocked facial expression on. "It... It wasn't a dream?!" she mutters to herself, and then a honey-sweet laugh comes forth at that. It would seem a good deal of the raspy voice she had yesterday was gone, of course her voice was just like that from yelling. Carefully she leans over to Aeonis and gives him a hug, placing her chin lightly upon his shoulder. "Yes, I had a wonderful sleep, love. I'm glad that I awoke to you being here, too. Still... I'm sorry my boss was so rude yesterday..." then the woman thinks a bit and sighs. "Perhaps... Just maybe I should send him a note... I think I should have a word with him, about his behavior... But... Only if you think that's alright. I know you don't like him very much, and I don't want you stressed out right now..." she would then give Aeonis a light squeeze with her hug , and lean her head softly against his.

Aeonis wrapped his arms around her, feeling better himself after hearing her laugh again. "He does bother me, but I will stand him for you." He said with a smile. "I just hope he stops pushing me. I was in a bad state yesterday, but I've calmed since." Aeonis sighs, then gestures to the bowl of fruit. "Are you hungry? I brought these up here just in case."

Raziel sniffs the air softly, catching the scent of the fruit, and a smile comes to her face. "That would be nice, thank you for bringing those up, love." Raziel soon, though slightly reluctantly, releases her hug from Aeonis and then reaches for where she knew her satchel was lying. Once she grabs it she pulls out three things. A piece of paper, charcoal, and an engraved note. The engrave note has a copper, silver, and gold piece in it. Soon she places the paper over the engraved note and presses the charcoal against it, causing the engraving to be pulled up onto the other paper. "I think I'll send him a note right now... But I'm sure he can come whenever... And, if Muraski does show up soon then I'm sure he'll be kinder to you... It's just that you have to get used to the way he talks. He talks as though he means every word, but usually it isn't so... But enough about him, I suppose." Raziel laughs, when she realizes how silly it must be talking about her fatherly boss so much. She brushes off the charcoal from her hands and then pulls out a beautiful wooden flute from her satchel, and brings it to her lips; the note that plays is a low note that's beautiful and hollow. After a short amount of time a kestrel zips in through the window, and lands next to Raziel. "Sora. Please bring this note to Muraski. If you can't find him, give the note to Kusa. He'll deliver it to him." with that the multi-colored and intelligent looking bird flits out and Raziel turns to Aeonis with a smile. "I'd forgotten to ask, love. How well did you rest last night? You sound like you are less exhausted." smiling she puts away everything and sets her satchel back down.

Eric walked in, whistling one of his favorite old tunes. He had on today a grayish white shirt, it had obviously been one color or another at some point in time but it was now impossible to tell. It was laden with patches and cuts and frays, it was just a bit too long for him, but it fit around him well. It had a hood, drawn to sit just above his eyebrows, the color a mixture of blonde and brown. His eyes sweeped and darted, taking in all the details. His right sleeve had runes stitched in blue, going down to his hand, he was wearing leather fingerless gloves, the right one bearing a magic circle. His right arm fell limply to a big leather pouch, well-kept to the appearance of being new. He had another bag, much larger, it stuck out around the edges of his back, buckled to him. Closer inspection revealed two large leather straps criss-crossing on the chest under the shirt and going around back to the casings of what one could only assume were blades through their odd shape. His pants were a bit too long but well fitting, just as the shirt. They were tan canvas pants, worn and torn, it had even more patches than the shirt and though not of the same age as the shirt was in much worse condition. Eric wore big leather boots, a deep brown, by contrast they looked as if he'd bought them that day. Eric waved to Aeonis, shuffling a bit, the huge pack at his back slinked and clunked.

Aeonis reaches into the bowl and pulls an apple from it, handing it to Raziel. "I haven't slept so well in quite some time. And I really needed it, apparently." He reaches in and grabs a vine of grapes for himself. "I just wish you felt as well as I." He leaned on one arm, eating the grapes one by one.

Raziel puts on her white gloves, since her hands were still covered in charcoal, and the wipes the apple off a bit, as well. "That's good to hear, love. But don't worry about my health so much... I've lost this much blood before, in a much worse way. I'll be fine... Probably even back to full health in a few weeks." she says, happily, and then takes a small bite from her apple. "What most worries me is your health, love." she smiles, and takes another bite. Actually, she was quite hungry, considering her boss interrupting her the previous day. "And thank you, love, for helping me so much... I hope I'm not being too much of a bother with this."

Eric was obviously annoyed, he'd waved and received nothing. He walked up to the man, and found it to be someone else. With a simple 'hmph' he turned to the bookkeeper, asked him which room Aeonis was in at the moment and upon receiving his answer he gave a simple nod and went about searching for the room. He tried one door first he thought was correct, it opened and he peeked in, only to receive the image of a naked woman that threw a potted plant. Eric quickly caught the plant and shut the door, putting the plant down next to it on the floor and resumed walking along, hearing a few screams and shouts of 'pervert!" and the like. He found another door, and assuming this to be correct he decided to knock this time, rapping on the door with the knuckles of his right hand while he shifted the huge sack on his back with his left hand, listening to the odd metallic sounds.

Roytoc would rapidly walk into the tavern of sorts, the building much more classy than that of Kelay. Roy would have a stressed visage, his eyes turning about to the door than back to the bar keep. As Roy would be asking where his apprentice was a shady looking woman would enter the establishment, she would be wearing skimpy clothing, thigh-high boots with a thin-short leather skirt, and a flimsy blouse that could hardly contain what it was holding. She was a feline as well, she had short black hair that seemed to hug her face, her ears were a calico color and they were poking out through her hair, her eyes were a stark green and her tail would flick in agitation. "Wherrre arr you rrruning away to?" She would purr in a sultry tone. Roy would groan and hurry to the stairs, "Leave me be woman, I have no want of you!" The Ranger would say in annoyance. The woman wouldn't catch on though and quickly stride towards the Ranger climbing the stairs, she would grab hold of his vest and not let go, "Oh, come now, I know you do, you'rrrre just a little shy is all," She would say in a trilling tone. Roytoc would growl and rapidly traverse the threshold to the second floor, "NO!" He would shout, "Do you see me choking!?! You would be if I wanted you!" The Drow would scream, going through the hallway, hearing someone shout pervert, likely not at him though. The whore would hiss at this, scratching at the back of the Ranger's neck roughly, "You lie, stop the shyness,!" She would say, denying the lack of wanting. The Ranger would spot Eric and quickly walk towards his friend, "Eric!" He would call, grabbing his friend by the shoulders and quickly putting him in the path of the woman, "He would love your company, woman!" The Ranger would say in a sporadic tone, pushing Eric towards the woman. The Drow would quickly open the door that Eric was knocking on and slam it shut behind him, locking it behind him. Roy would lean his head against the wood of the door, breathing a sigh of relief at locking Eric outside with the whore. Roy would turn around to view Aeon and Glitch, he would wink at them and smile, "Just the couple I was looking for," He would say with a laugh. Outside the Feline woman would rub her hands against Eric's ears, pressing her chest against him, "Well, you'rrre handsome as well, arrren't you!" She would laugh, pushing him against the wall.

Aeonis turns to the door as he hears the commotion outside, then suddenly Roytoc opened the door and slammed it shut. Aeon was quite confused at this, and caught off guard. For you see, Aeonis was actually completely bare, not expecting anyone to show up so suddenly. He is about to stand, but thinks better of it and quickly grabs a pillow to cover himself. "You wouldn't mind if I got dressed first, would you?" He said with a grin.

Raziel could, of course, hear all the commotion from downstairs and the shriek of the woman Eric had accidently entered on. Swallowing another bite of fruit, while facing the foot of her bed (as she didn't quite realize her love was naked) she simply says "Ummm. Hi Roytoc." then when she hears Aeonis's words a light blush comes across her features, and she just about chokes on another bite of apple, holding back a laugh. Raziel would have the appearance of being quite pale and her skin is a bit cold. Also her voice is weak. To the side of the room, her raven is sleeping on a pillow. Raziel, in the meantime, is still blushing a bit at this realization and purses her paled rose colored lips.

Eric heard footsteps and turned to see Roytoc, he waved before noticing the woman. He was caught off-guard by Roytoc, and easily spun around, much to his discomfort as the weight of the bag slammed into his back all he could say was 'unph' he would freeze up at his ears being grabbed and then being pushed into the wall, yet again to the injury of his back. Eric's stare turned to her, malicious for a moment as he flashed a deep and angry look and then a devilish smirk. He took her hand in his leaning in close, he had a much different look in his eyes from his calculating gaze, it was somehow dark. "You don't know what I want to do to you right now..." He would whisper, then he would use her hands, crushing them and spinning her around , locking them behind her back and then kicking her forward enough to move her but not enough to make her fall down he grabbed a giant war hammer from the huge sack on his back and busted the door down. He walked in, throwing the hammer to the floor and tossing the 300 some pound sack at Aeonis "You can have a sword or two and a shield, but for now I make an escape!" He yelled quickly before glaring at Roytoc. He ran towards the window in the room, he kicked out the glass and jumped out, landing on his feet before running off at an amazing speed.

Roytoc would be surprised as Eric broke down the door, along with throwing his sack at Aeon and Glitch, then breaking out a window and jumping out. Roy would equally be surprised when the Whore rushed past him swiftly, so fast actually that his hair blew foreword after the woman, she would vault through the window landing precisely upon those boots and rushing towards Eric, and he thought he was fast. She would tackle him, by what Roy could see, and slam his face into the dirt, whereupon she would grab two pairs of cuffs from her blouse and shackle his hands together, then shackle his ankles together, "No! No more rrresisting!!!" She would roar, kicking him in the side. "We will both enjoy this by the end!" She could be heard screaming as she dragged Eric into the forest, he would seem to be unconscious… Dear lord, Roy would think, he had just gotten Eric into a heap of trouble. The Ranger would watch as the heavy sack hurtled towards the couple, though he had been distracted so he couldn't act whatsoever… his apprentice was naked, he could see why his sister had been so angry and pained, the Drow would hope that Aeon could deflect the bag somehow. Roy's thoughts were whirling about at the moment, he would try to dive towards the bag but knew it was -much- too late, Aeon better protect his woman….

Aeonis decided that today was nothing short of surprising. Now, not only had Eric burst through the door, but he was trailed by some woman who was dressed quite revealingly. After the two dove out the window, Aeonis turned back towards Roytoc. For the first time he noticed the huge bag that Eric threw at him, only a second from hitting him. Aeonis's instincts kicked in last second, and to him time seemed to stop. He jumped to his feet, and his left hand shot out towards the bag, feeling the partial force of the impact jar his arm. Redirecting it almost with what seemed like ease, although it took a lot of strength on his part. The bag flew harmlessly into the wall, leaving an indentation. "Okay!" he said with some irritation. "I'm done! What is going on here?" He sat back down on the bed, not caring about his indecency anymore, holding his head in his hands.

Raziel hears the people crash through the window and all the commotion and then the bag being launched into the wall; soon she would shake her head. "Never a dull day in society..." she mutters "Only thing that could make this more odd would be if my boss showed up..." then Aeonis sits upon the bed and the woman simply places a, hopefully, comforting hand upon his shoulder. "Roytoc... I was wondering the same thing, myself..." there's a slight frown on her face, she was worried more for her love than her own health, despite her massive lack of blood. "Also... Please tell me the door is still on its hinges..." she says, turning her head in the direction of the door, though she can't see it of course.

Roytoc would be surprised as Aeon actually deflected the heavy bag, Roy would think to himself that Eric was likely to get arrested this eve' and that thought made Roy laugh, the feline shouldn't go around crashing in doors. The Drow would slowly stand up and brush himself off, looking to the door and sighing, "The door is crushed into splinters, the hinges are still on though," He would tell Raziel. The Drow would look to his apprentice and Glitch and grin, "What were you guys doing in here?" He would ask slyly, rubbing his chin in thought. The Drow would rummage in his cloak for a few seconds before throwing a thin pair of cotton pants to Aeon, he didn't want to stare at him naked whatsoever.

Aeonis uses the pants while gathering his actual clothes. "Oh, just relaxing, eating some fruit. Until you showed up anyways." He said as he pulled on his Wolf Fur pants. He didn't put on his vest though, deciding he was comfortable as is. "I had also just finished a letter to you. How did you find us?" He inquired, now noticing the letter that still sat sealed on the table. He walked over to the bed, kissed Glitch, and then rummaged through the bag to see what Eric had brought him.

Raziel would tsk at the description of the door, and shakes her head. But when Roy asks his question to them her very pale face goes, actually, fairly red. When she feels this she would quickly reach over to the table near the bed and grab the fedora her boss gave her the previous day and put it upon her head, tilting it down to covering her blushing face. She could tell he was probably just giving them a hard time, but the thought hadn’t even crossed her until now. Being raised by wolves, she usually didn’t think much about clothing, and had only choked on her food because she hadn’t realized he was lacking clothing before. When Aeon comes to give her a kiss she does tilt the hat for him, but she still keeps it where it is. “Yeah, what he said.” She squeaks out, barely holding back some laughter at all of this. Then she takes a deep breath and says “So… I’ll just be explaining to the man downstairs about the door, window… And probably the wall…” Raziel quickly says, grabbing her cane and making to get out of bed, which is probably not healthy for her to do.

Roytoc would point to the corner of the room in answer of Aeon's question, "Barra informed me," Is all he would say, the shadow could be seen leaning against the wall, his arms crossed and an evil smirk across his face, "Usstan inbal er'griff tlus kyorlin l' ssin'urn j'nesst," Barra would say in a demented chuckle, his laughter fluctuating in tones. Roytoc would nod to him with a grin similar before going over and placing a hand on Glitch's shoulder, "No, I don't think you should be moving, not after what Barra told me has happened," He would say softly, trying to push her back down gently. The Drow would smirk again, "Besides, nothing wrong with gossiping about sex, don't worry, I wouldn't laugh, I might choke though," The Drow would say in a dead-serious tone. Barra would snicker, "Also would," He would hiss, his words almost indecipherable with the strong Drow accent, he wasn't that good at the common tongue. "So thinking on it, you two should lie to me about that, I don't want to die," Roytoc would tell the two, hoping that Raziel would have lain down.

Aeonis stood shaking his head, then hearing Raziel's words he turned toward her. "You know I can't let you do that." He said to her sweetly. "You are in a bad state right now, and we will get to these matters when the time comes." He walks over and grabs her hand. "If you don't lie down, I'll carry you back myself." he said with a smile. Then turning to Roytoc, "You should see the trash he brought me. The swords and shield may as well be made of stone with that weight."

Raziel groans a bit when she’s stopped and then heads back to lie back upon the bed, leaning her cane against the bed frame, and covering her face with the hat. “So… How did Barra know what happened to me?” Raziel crosses her arms as she speaks these words. “Sneaky little buggar…” she mutters. “And, somebody should teach me drow so I can understand him…” at that she laughed a little “Heck, Kraar told me once that if my skin could be colored the same as a drow’s I’d blend right in…” she seems… a little upset with having to rest all day. She had the spirit of a nomad and didn’t seem to enjoy it when she was holed up somewhere. During her frustration her little kestrel flits in through the window, and lands clumsily on her stomach, chittering something or another to Raziel. “…. The two love birds will have to work it out themselves, dear… Stuck at the moment…” she grumbles a bit. The bird calms down and flies back out the window, to go sit in a tree nearby.

Roytoc would slowly back away, happy that the woman had actually lain down, "He knew because he was there, I told him to watch the shop for me, I don't trust Muraski, and with good reason, I took Ty away from that bastard," The Drow would say, spitting on the ground. He would brush a hand through his hair and sigh, "Drow is complicated to learn, it would take you years, but here's a sentence you can remember, "Usstan tlun ssin'urn. It means, I am strong. Usstan tlun ssin'urn, remember it," The Drow would say with a smile, he would then look back to Aeonis. "So besides all this madness, what is going on you two, anything you guys need help with, would you two like anything?"

Aeonis shrugged. "The only thing I have need of is a good pair of long swords and a shield. How about you, my love?" he says to Raziel, sitting next to her on the bed again, and holding her close.

Raziel frowns a bit as she listens to the words, and then when Roytoc turns to Aeonis she’d say, out loud “Usstan tlun ssin’urn…. Huh… Why do I need to know that one?...” she’d wonder aloud. Then she’d turn her head, as she adjusts the hat, towards Roytoc. “Yeah… I’d like it if you didn’t worry so much about me, dear. Same goes to you, First Ranger Roytoc… I’m going back to work when I’m recovered enough. And that’s final. I don’t care that he almost killed me, accidents happen… I’ve had –way- worse happen to me via an orc. And, if you don’t mind, I was hoping to leave and maybe have a word with him sometime…” her arms cross a bit tighter, even though she’d only been stuck inside for a good part of two days, she still seemed that she wanted to walk. And she was, more than certainly, being stubborn about her boss… She is certainly an odd elf, for everyone should have common sense to stay away from someone who nearly killed her.

Aeonis Squeezes Raziel, then stands up. "I guess I'll have to talk to the barman." He said, and then he kissed his beloved. "I'll be back shortly, my love." Then turning to Roytoc, "I Really do need Those swords and a shield though. If you can get them, please do so." Nodding to Roy, Aeonis heads out the door. He describes what happened to the barman, and gives Eric's name to him. He then goes back upstairs a few minutes later, and lies down next to Raziel, quickly falling asleep after telling her good night.

Muraski burst through the door of the tavern, a quick climb of the stairs towards Raziel's room. He cared little who he pushed through or out of the way, just that he made it to the female before much longer. When he reached the top of the stairs, he handed the female a weapon, a sabre, and then as mysterious as his entrance had been he made an exit. The grappling hook was latched onto the side of the windowsill and out he leapt, entirely down to the floor as he marched off once more. People shoved this way and that, as he made his way through the crowd and back towards his shop in Cenril.

Momentary Relization

Roytoc shook his head solemnly, "No, you are not leaving this building tonight, maybe tomorrow if Aeon wishes it but let me tell you something Glitch," The Drow would say, taking a chair from the corner and sitting in it, "You are injured, you should not leave especially since Aeon cares so much to take time from his day to protect and care for you," As Roy explained all this Barra approached the crushed door and began weaving his hands over the space, creating a dark and murky wall where there used to be space; it couldn't be penetrated or removed, unless Roy told Barra to, since it wasn't dark magic holy magic couldn't dispel it either, it was just a wall of shadow; there was one way to remove it but only Drow and a select few knew of it. Suddenly before it was finished Muraski burst through the acrid liquid-solid and dropped a sabre at Glitch's side, he would then jump out the window… Roy would be silent and Barra's face would be priceless as he quickly finished the wall, adding a door knob of sorts so it could actually be opened, he would then move to the window. "Well, I guess your boss doesn't want to chat with you," The Drow would say, releasing his hand from the vial full of dragon's blood. "If you do leave you will be telling Aeon you do not love him, that his wishes for you safety are little more than dirt beneath your feet," The Drow explained sternly.

Raziel would pull her legs up tightly to her chest as Roytoc spoke to her about all these things, though an almost child-like pout would be upon her lips... Despite that she is not much younger than the drow's age. Before Muraski would burst through the room the woman would sit up a bit, and listen to the sounds; when, suddenly, Muraski would come through handing her the sabre and exit. "No... No I guess he didn't..." the woman would say, as she'd remove her gloves and inspect the sabre with her fingertips. "But I think there was something bothering him... And he knows better than to talk to someone he cares about when he's like that..." she says, accidently mentioning that he cares about her. She’d continue to feel the sabre until Roytoc says what he does about if she were to leave. "Ouch!" she yips, for she was so surprised at those words that she actually clamped her hand around the blade, slitting her palm and some of her fingers; causing blood to lightly trickle forth. But she ignores the blood and pushes her hat back, soon giving Roytoc a look of pure shock, her mouth agape and her blind eyes open wide. When she finally snaps out of it, and set the sabre upon her legs, she speaks to him in a stuttering voice "W...W... Why w..would you s..sa...say that? I... I lo... love Aeonis v... very m...much!" she truly does love him, as well, and wanted to do nothing that would harm him. "I... I... I don't wa...wa...want him... H... H... Hurt!" as these words are spoken a pool of blood slowly forms in her palm, and her color seems to drain once more.

Roytoc would sigh and approach the woman once again, getting the sabre out of the way and taking her hand, he didn't care if she were to resist, "Then do not leave, that is what all of this is about, he cares for you, wishes for your safety and love, you leaving might get you injured further, as well as your already current injuries and lack of energy," The Drow would say softly, gently opening the woman's hand. The Drow would retrieve a bottle of brandy from his cloak and slowly trickle the alcohol onto her wounded hand… it reminded him so much of when he had healed Trayial… his very first love, nostalgia would take over and he would become saddened. As well as choking a bit at the collar's sudden tightness. The Drow would make sure the wound is cleaned before pulling a rag from his belt and pressing it firmly in the woman's hand, he would hold the woman's hand in his to make sure pressure would stay inert.

Raziel would take a couple small gulps of breath, as the slight shock of her wound would pass through her, and then she'd cringe at the sting of the brandy upon her hand. As Roy tends to her wound she says, uncontrollably explaining things to him, the stutter past a bit. "Please, d... don't tell Aeon this... But.... Mura came here last night... And he snuck me out of the room... To take me fishing with him.... He... He knows that I hate being cooped up.... And he was very careful too... And when... when we were out there... We were talking... And he... he said that he cares about me... Like a daughter... He's very upset with himself... About any pain he caused.... And.... And I know it was true... I just know it... But... I… d... don't want to hurt Aeonis... It's just Muraski told me he wanted to help... Ever since he first met me... And he wants to train me to fight... To defend myself in case anything like that happens again... That's what the sabre's for... He's going to teach me to use one...." she flinches again, and a few tears roll down from her eyes... With all of her stuttering it almost seemed like she was broken. "P... Please don't say... Anything to him... And... I like Muraski... I think he just... Needs people to help him... To get him better... Please...." the last 'Please' is said in almost a squeaky whisper, as a few more tears trickle down from her eyes. Truly, she was torn between her boyfriend and her boss.... And, really, she just wanted both to work together. He'd still find her, unless she was taken back to Frostmaw. But she could never survive up there, in her condition.

Roytoc would crack his neck and stand up, anger etched on his face, his eyes would melt red and his voice would drawl, "I know what will come of this, there is no mistake! It has happened countless times before!" He would drawl angrily. "You will train with the man and one day he will kiss you, he will kiss you and you will unwittingly kiss back, then the affair will start, pain coming from both sides of the line, of the countless unfaithful people," The Drow would spit on the ground. He would look to Aeonis then Glitch, "I should tell him, for you have now showed me that trust means nothing, you could have left a note explaining your deceit, but instead you keep it secret, why you are just a fool, just like Trayial!" The Drow would day in an accusatory tone! "He needs no help, he needs to be killed, I have done nothing like this to the ones I care for, I have seen slaughter and devastation and know that that man needs to be hanged!" Roytoc would look to Barra and grimace as the Drow spoke to him in the complicated Drow-handcode. Barra would be fingering his dagger, utterly-hating the mention of Trayial, the shadow had been hurt by the experience as well… he didn't want it to happen again, to anyone…

Raziel freezes as she hears the odd drawl that his voice had suddenly shifted into and then ponders a bit ~Roytoc never used to spit before... Did he?~ "I... I don't know what you're talking about! He's like a father to me, I could never be -in- love with him!" she says, as her uninjured hand slowly creeps towards her cane, while the injured one moves to the sabre. "And don't you -dare- say that he needs to be hanged! I did nothing deceitful against Aeonis, and I love him -very- much!" she says, as her fingers get an inch away from each of her weapons. She also looks as if she's about to call for her boss, or someone, as well. For she takes a slow, but deep breath.

Roytoc would rotate his shoulders and hiss a bit, his face seeming to waver then become solid again, "You must have misheard me, I know this happens! I know of the circumstances," The drawl would take on a much solid tone, Roy couldn't mimic that well could he? Barra on the other hand would grin maliciously, the shadow's jaw becoming a bit pointier, it would grow taller just a bit, maybe an inch, it's shadowy hair would lengthen and thin a bit, the cheek-bones becoming more pronounced, of course it would be just to scare the woman. Roytoc would calm a bit, rubbing his face and going to the corner again, "Do you even remember what I told you last time, where we were at?" He would ask, his normal voice returning because he was clearly calming. The Drow would turn to face her, the eyes still crimson, though he was trying to close his mind, slowly the gray would creep back over, "I care for you two, and do not wished you injured…" He would say sadly. "Barra!" He would yell, the shadow laughing before taking back its normal form, "I apologize, he is being an ass today," Roy would say softly. Muraski simply began to climb back down the rope, he sadly couldn't stay this time.

Raziel blinks, as she slowly curls her fingers around the cane. ~Did he just scold Barra for something I'd see?.... Or was it something else?... It's like... It feels like... He forgot I'm blind...~ At that her injured hand would suddenly flit to her sleeve, pulling out her drow twin dagger and she would hurl it towards Roytoc, with the best aim she could muster. ~This man can't be the same Ranger from the other day... He doesn't give off the same energy~ she would think, as a low wolf-like growl comes forth from her throat. After her hand releases the dagger she pulls the hat down, lower, hiding her pure white eyes from view. "BOSS!" she would shriek, hoping he might be in hearing distance for her shout. She then would quickly... Or as quick as a woman with a low amount of blood could, stand up from the bed, using her cane, and then grabbing where the saber was ~Dammit... If this isn't Roytoc, then I'm in serious trouble without Kraar being useful...~ Baring her teeth she'd hold the sabre, in her injured hand, towards him, and walk around the bed as quickly as she could to get between him and Aeon. But she was dizzy, too... So very dizzy. None of this would end well, without some help, should this be a different drow.

Roytoc would fall to the ground, grasping the woman's dagger that was now embedded there, "AHHHH! Why did you do that, Glitch!?" He would scream, blood funneling outwards, the Drow would be in pain alright. "What's wrong! Why are you acting so strangely!? Damn, that smarts!" He would curse between clamped teeth. "Lay back down, you're going to pass out!" He would say softly, not angry with the woman but thinking she had freaked for no reason, he would try to pull the dagger out but it was embedded in his leather pants and flesh, "AHHH! Damn, you can throw!" He would scream and then grunt, trying not to hurt her ears.

Raziel would practically drop the sabre when Roy screams, the pain immense. She was listening, trying to tell if he truly was Roytoc or not. Her breath seemed a bit increased as well. "You better... As hell... Be the real Roytoc....." words spoken choppily, though she'd stand her ground. Cautiously the woman would walk over to the drow, hooking her cane over her wrist. She would then reach to the dagger, grabbing its hilt, and she'd pull at just the right angle, then back away, still growling a bit. "If you are the real Roytoc, then I greatly apologize for that..... But... If you're not... You -will- be sorry...." she takes a slight gulp of air, the room wavering a slight bit then straightening out. "Your voice... It was different... And you spoke... Different... So angered... And you're shadow... I couldn't see what he looked like... I know not why... You yelled at him... But it was like you forgot..." her breath soon starts to become shallow, her hold on the sabre loosening just a bit. "If you are not... The real Roytoc... Then stay away from... Aeonis... I'd sooner die... Than allow harm to come... To him...."

Roytoc would wince as the dagger was pulled out, he would place his hand firmly upon the wound to stem the blood flow, "Who the hell else would I be!?" He would say in a questioning tone, not truly understanding. The Drow would sigh and shake his head ashamed to admit such, "When I am angered I drawl, it is a trait I picked up from my brother, I cannot help it but it just happens, I was angered because I was reminded of Trayial, I don't like to speak of her," Roy would say softly, limping to a standing position. "And yes I screamed at Barra, he never listens and his antics annoy me, I did not do it for your benefit, I did it for mine, so I do not have to view him," The Ranger would tell her, hoping she would understand and calm down. " Now come on, sit back down, you'll only injure yourself," The Drow would place shaky hands upon her shoulder, slowly and cautiously so he wouldn't get stabbed, or hurt at all for that matter. If she would allow him the Drow would lead her to the bed, though he would be hindered a bit, he didn't want her to pass out on him.

Raziel when she hears his words, and deciphers that his heart was only beating fast from pain she'd drop the sabre with a clang, her dagger following suit. "Bloody... Bells.... I am -so- sorry, Roytoc!.." she'd say, as a tear would trail down her cheek. "I... I just thought... Maybe someone was using... Your form... I had heard of creatures doing that..." her skin would be icy and so very pale, as drops of blood would drip from her fingertips on her injured hand. "Please... I... I am sorry..." soon her mind would spin and she'd nearly collapse, but catches herself, she'd allow the drow to help her back to the bed, and once she's laying down she sighs a bit, and shake her head. "Kraar is so weak... He can't help me... Muraski was going to train me to... Be less dependent on him... But I'm such a hazard... When I don't have his help... Truly... I'm so very sorry for that... I meant for it to... Land in the floorboards... I swear..." she then covers her face with both her hands, even though the one is bleeding. "I didn't mean to... Hurt you.... And I... I'm just so afraid of... Hurting people I care for...." she'd say, sobbing a bit... Which only causes her to feel all the more dizzied. "I'm sorry...." these last two words just barely whispered.

Roytoc would sigh and pull her bloody hand from her face, tightly wrapping it up in the cloth, he would wipe some of the blood off her face as well, truly depressed that she was saddened, "It is fine, I have been through much more painful experiences than that, trust me, and no one is using my form, it would be obvious if they had for they would not know of my childhood or even the companions I have," He would say with a laugh, for he had met a man like such before, but hardly had any memories. "Don't cry, I am fine, it saddens me when such a beautiful woman cries," He would say softly, hoping the compliment would put her at ease. "And Mura will most likely be able to teach you to fight well, as well as I and Aeonis, we are all here for you," He would explain to her, the words ringing true.

Raziel continues to have her tears flow down her face, she truly hadn't cried for any reason in years... She hadn't allowed any to flow since the slaughter of her wolf family. She keeps her uninjured hand upon her face, however, as though she were using it as another mask, her last one being broken when she collapsed from the blood loss. "Please... I didn't go with Mura, last night, to hurt Aeonis... I love him too much, and made a promise.... I said... I don't believe I'd ever betray his trust, promise...." she'd recited her exact promise that she made to Roytoc the night she had first met him "If... If I break a promise... If I -had- broken that promise... Then... I'd have to obey the one... I made to myself... I told myself that if I ever broke a promise.... That I'd go back to my old self... Back to being a loner... Back to hiding away from the world... So I'd never hurt anyone's trust again..." more tears flow from her eyes. "And... I don't want to do that... I like it too much here... It used to be just me... And Kraar... But now I have a family... A new family..." finally she simply breaks down and tears start flowing greatly from her closed eyes, as she clenches her fist that lay against her face; she had somewhat scratched herself in doing that. Then she pulls her knees to her chest and clenches her teeth. She hadn't cried so hard in so long, and was rather embarrassed to be doing so in front of somebody... She'd even be embarrassed if she cried like this in front just Aeonis, while he was awake.

Roytoc would slowly frown, not liking this at all, he didn't want to see Glitch cry like this, he cared for her a lot, even though he hadn't known her too long. The Drow would sit next to the woman and hold her against him, saddened that she wouldn't stop crying. He would press her head against his chest and kiss the top of her head, "Come now Raziel, it's fine, everything is going to be alright," He would whisper to her, trying to comfort her since Aeon was sleeping. He would stroke his fingers through her hair softly, wishing she would stop, Barra would quirk his brows suddenly at the door, his ears twitching, the shadow would slowly get up and walk towards the shadowy wall, he could see through the wall and his face would drop a bit, he would just stand there though, and ignore everything else, just staying close by the door. Roy would hold the woman closer with each second if she wouldn't stop crying, he wanted her to be comfortable and now that they both loved her, Aeon and Roy. His collar wasn't constricting him…

An Old Friend

Raziel seems to ease on her crying quite a bit, using all her strength to pull them away. Once she feels that she has a good control again she speaks, though her voice is raspy "Thank you... I truly am sorry... For throwing that at you.... I've just lived... On my own for a very... Very long time..." then she would sense Barra move towards the door, and she'd listen too. "Barra?" she'd ask in a whispered voice. She'd not be able to understand him if he responded to her, but she was curious about what was out there. The young elf would then take a deep breath and mutter "Usstan tlun ssin'urn" to herself, once. It was odd. She had never, even once, learned anything of the elven culture or race... She knew very little of herself, of who she would have been, were she not abandoned... And yet the first words of anything that she'd ever learned happened to be drow words. "Roytoc... What is he looking at?" she'd say, for though she cannot see him her senses have an odd way of picking up of such things like what Barra was. Were she in the presence of someone who could sense energy, they'd see that she has a very large aura that pushes and pulls against and around things, to help her find her way around. Raz then sits there, total silence, as she'd listen for something. Anything.

Roytoc would smile as the woman would calm, he would back from her a bit, so he wouldn't be invading her privacy, he would look to Barra though and quirk a Brow, what was he doing? Barra would look to the two and grin, "lotha dalninuk," He would say in a hiss, Roy's face would remain stoic, he wouldn't say anything except to Raz, "Nothing, just an old friend, I know not how he found me but I do not wish to speak to him," Roy would say softly to the woman, sitting up a bit, he would say something to Barra and the shadow would nod, going out the window's shadowy wall. Roy would look back to Raziel and smile, though she couldn't see it, "Would you like anything, maybe food or drink to calm you nerves?" He would ask. "I am glad you have calmed a bit, and trust me, the leg is fine."

Raziel nods a bit, but is confused, and forgets her manners because she was still a bit out of herself. "Um... Why don't you want to talk to your old friend?... I don't mind... If you leave to do that..." and then she shakes her head at the idea of eating or drinking anything "N... No... I can't eat or... Drink when I'm upset... But thank you..." she'd then turn towards the door, and sighs at the fact that she had dropped her sabre and dagger out of her reach. She still had one more dagger, but it would do her little good if something were to happen. "I hope you’re not... Still mad about Muraski... Wanting to train me..." she then adds, her voice still a bit raspy.

Roytoc would shake his head, "No, I rather not speak to him at all, not at the moment anyway, I will soon, I just have some errands to run before I will meet him," The Drow would say with a smile, slowly standing up to stretch. He would rub his wounded leg softly and sigh, it hurt, he would get to it later though, "I sent Barra to lure the man off, I rather not see him for a while. But no, I was never mad, just giving you a fair warning about what could happen, I am not mad but Aeonis might be," The Drow would say calmly. Roy would slowly retrieve the dagger with his blood on the blade and flip it end over end in the air, before catching it, he would twiddle with it as he spoke again, "I am sure some water would do you good but if you cannot drink any I understand," He would tell her, continuously playing with the blade.

Raziel nods in understanding, and then removes Muraski's fedora from her head, setting it upon her lap. "I had hoped to talk to Aeonis about it... But... He seems to close to the edge of ferality... Unless he's usually like that..." she strokes the sleeping Aeonis's hair softly. Boy, that man could sleep! She then listens to the wind whistling around her dagger as Roytoc plays with it. "Have you used those.... Types of daggers before? ... There was once a man... He saved my life from an orc... He gave them to me... Said they were his... But I don't quite know if he was a drow, or not... There's no seal on them either... But he called them Wind Howler and Blood Blade... Actually, you're playing with Blood Blade right now..." she says, cocking her head. "He seemed nice... But he never told me his name... And he lived alone in the forest that I resided in..." she seems to be going back to her memories of this man, for he had taught her most everything. Quietly she brushes her fingers through her hair as she thought.

Muraski stormed his way up the stairs to the man who stood outside, he'd already tried to go through the window but apparently not even flame could break through the shadows. Rage filled the man, he was rather excessively pissed and when the man outside the door stood there, the thief's hand quickly removed the crossbow and unloaded bolts at him.. He cared no more, pissed as he was, between wife and being separated from his kid, he was feeling slightly murderous.. A move towards the door would be made, a slam against it with his fist, again, and again, and again, until someone would answer he'd not stop.

Roytoc would smile, "I have expertise with nearly every weapon out there, I know how to use them very well, do not fret, I won’t harm them." Roy would look to the door then, a grin appearing on his face before sitting down next to the woman and handing her back the dagger. "What more do you know of that man, do you wish to tell me anything?" He would ask. || Outside the room, the man would be quite surprised as Muraski suddenly began firing blots at him, though he was quite lithe and agile, he didn't have a problem dodging them, also the man wasn't really trying to aim, a bolt would graze off the Drow graves the man wore but no other damage would be gathered. Suddenly the man would look curious, "I thought you were the one in there," The real Roy would say, confused at the turn of events, "I thought maybe you had done this as well. Barra went off to see what was going on but he has been gone a while, I'm worried about Aeon and Glitch, and I checked all the other rooms, this one is the correct room," Roytoc would say calmly brushing his hand against the acrid wavery wall, he didn't want Muraski to injure himself so he would say, "No blunt force can get through this, though I could call Barra back and he can try to go through it, or we can even go to the next room and crash the wall down," The Drow would say sternly, he was rather worried about the strange shadow wall.

Raziel takes the dagger back and flips it in her hand, soon storing it back in the sheath beneath her sleeve. "Mmmm. I don't really know much more..." she says with a sigh, before the sound of banging can be heard. "Muraski?" she says, facing the shadow door. "Can't we let him in? He sounds like he really needs to have a word... With... Me?" her ears would pick up on Roy's voice outside, as well. "What in the..." she'd freeze momentarily and her blind eyes would narrow a bit. "What the hell is going on?" she says, as the wolf-like growl returns to the elf woman’s voice.

Muraski 's fist continued to pound at the door, a wave of his torch swung at Roytoc, "Shoo pest, I'm getting my kid back." As the poundings effect took none upon the door the man stood back and walked into another room, past the feline hooker from before, stole the window curtains from her room and walked out. He moved back towards the hallway, laid the curtains down, then moved once again into another room, once again looting curtains, in which he'd continue till they spanned the length of the hallway. Finally, when they were finished he left down the stairs, grabbed lamp oil from the basement, then returned upstairs again. The sheets would be drenched in it as he passed, if Roy tried to stop him, he'd find a torch shoved in his face, and he'd continue on with his job. Once the sheets were soaked, he moved towards the stairs, lit the curtains, and moved back outside. He'd wait at his grappling hook till the shadows left and he could climb up to save the kid.

Roytoc told Raziel, "*An immense wall of pure energy would pierce Raziel's mind, resisting would be to sap all energy from you, to nearly die and be unhappy, it would be easy to just let in the tremendous force, and go about the calm instructions. They would go as suit, calm down, smile and forget the last minute, you did not hear Roy outside the door, you heard him going to it and opening it, dispelling the shadows, Muraski will not enter. DO NOT GO WITH HIM!!! DO NOT LET HIM TAKE YOU-The voice would command violently, the pressure upon your mind escalating- Harm him if you have to, do not let him take you, explain you are fine, DO NOT GO WITH HIM, IF YOU DO YOU WILL DIE! STAY WITH YOUR LOVE AEONIS!!!- The voice would continue this commands until the woman would accept them, becoming slightly tranced until the second she would get use to the feel, then the force would leave, because she had obeyed. If she did not obey the force would become crushing, putting the woman in mortal peril, the voice would calmly explain to accept this piece of advice."

Roytoc || Zalctor would smile at the woman sweetly, before sending forth one set order from his mind to hers, unrelentingly and forcefully, he would then say, "Yes of course," Before slowly walking towards the window. It turned out the man needn't burn the whole place down, for as soon as Muraski was started gathering the first curtains, the shadow wall would drop, the man would see it obviously as well, so he shouldn't continue with the burning. Zal would then send nearly all of his mental powers into Roy's mind, they would enter with a malicious laugh as he took nearly complete control of the Drow's mind. Zalctor would then utter a small incantation under his breath and his whole body would be drenched in a tar like substance, he would easily go through the window and take the hook with him, disappearing into the night, but his mind would continue moving within the abode. || Roy would suddenly seem like he was about to pass out, before standing erect, his eyes glimmering red, he would see the door drop and smile, "Look!" He would say to the man, before he could drench the place with flames, the Drow would walk in and he would suddenly feel immense vertigo before speaking, "There, I let him in, all is okay," Roy would say happily, hoping the woman was calm, and the man wouldn't freak out more. "Muraski, everything is fine," The Drow would say softly.

Raziel before Raz could do anything against the imposter she'd suddenly feel a pure energy pierce the unblocked confines of her mind, and her eyes would become foggy. Once she was released she'd blink a couple of times and then Zal would tell her he'd let Muraski in. She seemed to have forgotten the past minute when she had heard a separate Roytoc's voice, and when the true Roytoc enters and says that he let Muraski in she'd smile "Thank you." she'd say. Then, should Muraski have entered, she'd smile towards him "Hey, boss!" she say, though her voice was raspy once more. Then she'd hold her index finger up to her lips and say "Shhh. Aeonis is still sleeping... I think he's exhausted." it would be noticed that one hand is bandaged up, and there is a puddle of blood in the corner of the room, her saber lying upon the floor. Were Muraski to calm down he'd probably notice some pretty odd details with how the scene is playing out.

Demands

Muraski noticed the walls had begun to fall and wasted no time for before any could move inside, the newly sired was in a sprint for the room, as he cared little of anything else. A storm of feet would bring him to a halt before the female, her words to be cut off before she could finish the greeting, "CHILD!" A scream ot be made, "WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED HERE?!" Obviously more was on his mind than just this, as his torch was swung about with reckless abandon towards anything within the room except Raziel and should any try to approach her, he'd most definitely try to stick with the firey stick as well.

Roytoc would smile at the man, he was glad he was no longer lusting for blood, though he still seemed quite angry, he would keep his distance and go to the window next to the woman, the shadows seeming to chip away there and disappear, "Everything is fine Muraski, she just cut herself on the sabre you gave her, I was speaking with her and she got a bit too excited. And the shadows were put up thanks to Barra, we were making sure Sempter or another wouldn't charge in here and wreck the place, I hate that bull, when I found it was you outside I let Barra allow you access inside. I stepped out for a bare second to make sure who it was, then I pretended not to know what the shadows were, just to make sure you were rational, and you were rational enough," The Drow would laugh, thinking on how the man was about to burn the whole place down.

Raziel would slightly flinch as her words are cut off, and remain silent as Roytoc explained everything the way he did. The woman would nod "Mhmm. That's what happened, Muraski... Please don't me mad, I'm ok." she'd look towards him, with a frown and an apologetic feature. "I'm sorry about all this mess too... Things were a bit crazy earlier, and some fellow smashed the real door... To escape from some woman... Please, Boss, don't be mad." she'd continue saying, as she brings her bandaged hand a bit closer to her body, a natural instinct of hers. There did seem something off by the slightest of measures, but Mura wouldn't notice in his rage.

Muraski swung the torch around more, angrily even, till it pointed directly at Raz, "YOU! CHILD! YOU! WILL COME TO STORE TOMMOROW! WE TRAIN!" He huffed loudly then turned towards Roytoc, "You! Dark skin! You try and talk her out of it and I'll beat you down with this torch!" Another loud yell to be directed at him till he turned back to face Raz once more, "AND YOU! You'll stay with me starting tomorrow! Bring the stupid half ling as well! I'm sick of this crap! ALL OF YOU! Quit being dumb, stupid, etcetera and get to my damned shop tomorrow or I'm coming to pick up all of you frecken personally!" With that, he threw the torch at the wall of the room, it still aflame, and stormed out of the room before one might reply to him, he cared ever so little, just found himself so angry..

Roytoc would just stare at the man's outbursts, understanding why he was so angry, though some of the words irritated him, the Drow wouldn't do anything. Though as Muraski threw the torch and stormed out Roy would quickly collect it and make sure there were no flames upon the floor, he would put it out and throw the thing out the window, making sure not to hit anyone. Roy's eyes would suddenly push down to their regular gray, he would nearly pass out but he kept his footing and shook his head, "All this stress is giving me a headache," He would mumble, sitting next to Raz again. "Your boss seems mad," He would say with a laugh, shaking his head, he would recall what they had been talking about but Roy would have to leave soon, unless he spent the night. Actually that was a good idea, Roy would spend the night here, rent a room and everything, "So, how are you feeling?" He would ask the elf, hoping she felt better than before.

Raziel would shrink back as Muraski yelled, the loud tones hurting her ears ever so much. Once he gives his demands and leaves Raziel frowns a bit. "Um. What did I do?" she asks, thinking to herself that she didn't want to go. She then, once more, brushes her loves hair gently with her hand and shakes her head. "Boy, I wish I were as heavy a sleeper as he sometimes…" then she would listen to the drow's words and nod. "Yeah… I think Muraski is having a hard day…" sighing she would then paint a weak smile upon her lips. "Oh, I'm alright. Far better than before, I suppose... Although these happenings are a bit opposite of rest... I'm glad that Muraski didn't try and take me away from Aeonis... I love him, and don't want to leave him." she'd then hold her injured hand carefully. "Perhaps I should be getting rest more than I have been..." she'd sigh once more.

Roytoc would nod, understanding the woman perfectly, "I apologize, I have been keeping you up, you do need to rest, he seems to be doing a good job of it. And it lightens my heart to see such love, I have been having doubts that such things even exist anymore," He would say in a joyful tone. The Drow would walk towards the door way and hold out a finger, "One moment please," He would say softly. Should she wait he would descend the stairs and quickly rent a room for two nights, paying the man the gold and filling out his name, along with his title, Roy would then return upstairs and lean against the door-frame, thinking that Glitch was a beautiful woman and Aeonis would take care of her, Roy's choker didn't constrict. "I have rented a room so I will be right next-door should you need me, or you can stay in that room, it has a door and it would be much safer, I could carry you there, and wake up Aeon so he could join you, it's your choice, Raz," Roy would explain in a soft and loving tone.

Raziel smiles to him and shakes her head, her pure white hair wavering around a bit. "No, that's not necessary. I have plenty of birds outside that can keep an eye out for me, and I'm not worried about anyone coming in... Er... But, if you could, it would be most helpful if you grabbed my sabre for me, and placed it elsewhere, so no one gets cut by it." she'd then give Roy a sweet smile. Once that would be said she'd carefully lie back down, and set the fedora hat upon the counter beside the bed, thanking Roytoc for any help. Roytoc would nod and once again wave the woman's apology off, "It's fine, I told you I have been through worse," The Drow would say, though strangely enough there was no wound, and even if she had thrown it the greaves would have stopped them, the Drow wouldn't consider those small factors though, for these were the memories he had. "Goodnight Raziel, sleep well," He would say, blowing out the room's lanterns, the Drow would then walk out, no limping whatsoever, He would go to his room and begin taking his gear off, glad to get the heavy equipment off, he had been walking in it far too long.

Raziel would nod and bid Roytoc a good night, then curl up beside her love and drift off into an exhausted slumber.
