If you are a Druid, an Elf, Dryad or descended from an Elf, or even if you visited the Eternal Tree recently you may have been troubled by a strange dream.

You are standing in a forest; the vibrant living colour is vivid almost oversaturated as if covered by a misty veil of multicoloured light that shrouds all things within the ethereal wood. The rays of light penetrating the lofty branches seem to be split into the full spectrum of colours creating an overwhelming sight. All you can hear are the sounds of the forest, the animals rustling in the undergrowth, the gentle whoosh of the wind through the thickened leaves of the tree canopy but the volume of the expected noises is far greater than normal as if magnified in some way. You begin to realise that you can smell things you could not smell before, it is almost as if you can smell every flower, every animal in fact every scent is clearly defined in your nostrils, you can even taste the forest itself It is as if your senses are totally overwhelmed by sensations. It is as if you are experiencing through the mind of somebody or something else. Without any warning your ears are deafened by a sudden loud noise and you feel pain wrack your body as if a thousand blades lacerated each of your limbs. You cannot move, cannot even hear your own screaming, as you fall to the ground you can see your reflection in a pristinely clean pool of water. Your face is a mask of pain your mouth held open wide and your eyes filled with terror. Your eyes are bleeding and you begin to only see red. Your face becomes red, then the pool seems to fill with blood as you own reflection is washed away... but before you can perceive what replaced it all becomes dark. In the darkness that now surrounds you there is only heat, as if you were standing in a blazing inferno but you cannot see through the blackness. You begin to taste and smell smoke and the sensation of your lungs filling up with foreign matter, rises from below but it is hard to separate this from the rest of the pain which is becoming so excruciating you cannot tell where the pain is, your whole body is in agony.... then nothing. You awake in your usual sleeping spot, covered in sweat and none the wiser about what you just dreamt.

It is slowly becoming apparent to those who experience the dream that it is a message from the eternal tree, the ancient spirit of the forest. It is in pain and angered greatly by what has happened to the forest both recently and in the past and it now reckons it may need to fight back

Enter your character's name below if they have the dream.

Neema Trill experiences the dream while napping by her beehives, one of which is knocked over onto her head thanks to a startled jerk.

Liana experienced it while sprawled in a clearing in the forest...

Ginger experienced it while napping after a string of brawls in Venturil. She immediately ran to Luthentius and cried on his hands. It's been -so- long since anything to do with nature, or still-living for that matter, has touched her mind.

Athyaron Kianil experienced it while napping in the comfort of a tree in the forest.

Thea of Enchantment experienced this 'dream' while meditating in front of the Trembling Tree. She is convinced the connected roots of the trees brought the vision to her through their empathic connection. Needless to say, the Druidess is highly concerned and by what she's witnessed in this vision and intends to inspect the situation closer to try and determine whether this was in fact just a 'dream', or if there is some source of threat to her beloved nature.

Arien, governor of Rynvale experienced this dream while on recovery retreat aboard her private schooner. Disturbed by its intensity, she nevertheless has set it aside as a by product of the stresses caused by recent combat, and her near fatal personal experience of the horrific bombing of the Kelay tavern.

Keturah experienced the dream after falling asleep in Rynvale. Though troubled over the vision, the druidess could make little of it.

Skylei Lucindio experienced the dream after falling asleep whilst working late on the texts from an ancient book. She assumed that it was due to hallucinogenic spores within the parchment of the tome.

Juliette Rennoir had the dream after an encounter with the giant centipede Ymheshphilun. She assumes it is because of the mind games he played with her that she had this disturbing vision.
