The Roleplay!

Lycidas had sent forth his summons to find Blut and bring him to this place. He had a plan, a caravan was on it’s way, many and many of them were and he wanted to gain as many as he could. The supplies were vital to the reconstruction of Larket and if he nabbed just a few of them, it would be all worth it! Maybe two? Maybe three? Just giving Blut a single one of these material wheel shacks would be sufficient payment for years to come! He awaited on the path into Larket, a good mile and a half down the road from the city awaiting either supply wagon or Blut to show.

Blut arrived with two others a lean tall man carrying a halbeard behind his back and a slender woman with a longsword both wearing a black coat covering their body. Blut approached in his assassins garbs hands hidden within the cloak and the faint crimson glow of his eyes emerged from his hood. "Hello Felix lets make this first business outing we have memorable shall we. I've brought two of my best troups the man here is Hector Heinds and the woman is Taliya Solair both very capable warriors. Now do we have a plan?" Blut asked as he looked down at the road he was aware of what they were hunting what he didn't know was if Felix had a plan or not.

Lycidas wore his typical mask, clearly not pointed out in a prior writing by mistake, but the man was large enough it’d be hard not to distinguish him from most others. With a nod he spoke, “Pleasure as always Blut and yes, we have a plan.” He pointed north in the direction of Larket, “The guards are to far away to hear us at this distance, I have been testing their strategies and tactics for about a week now. I know how long they take to respond, what force they respond with, what distance they can be heard.. And I know, as of now, they’re incapable of hearing us at this distance. If you’d like to conduct a raid on these wagons coming into Larket, the supplies will include, metal, timber, clothing, food, and much much more.”

Blut nodded as he looked around for a good snipeing spot "Hector look around see if there are any leverages I can take advantage of." The man nodded as he walked off Blut took out a notebook then fill me in on the details this will all come down to timeing and I would like every little detail. This raid could be very big due to the earthquake the citizens need these resources more than ever before we should take advantage of this situation whilst it lasts. Blut sat down and took out a ink quill in order to write down all the information that Felix would provide them.

Lycidas thought that this was the best part of his plan, “The guard is currently crippled as well, hundreds if not thousands died from the massacre that was that earthquake.. While they need these resources, their ability to defend them is intensely limited.” With that Lycidas began to go over number, times, weaponry, mounted combatants, as best he could and the final detail he offered was Mythayus. “The man is an outlier, he comes and goes but he is definitely something that could occur and if he does.. He isn’t worth fighting so if he comes, the objective is flee.. He can summon lightning as a movement, capable of covering great distance to stop a bolt from impaling people before they’re killed off.”

Blut chuckled "very well then I'll keep that in mind but if we get the opertunity to remove him then we really should." Hector informed Blut of a nearby tree that Blut could use to snipe from he went back to stand next to Taliya Blut looked at Felix "if thats all I need to know then I'm going to move over to my position I give you comand of my men use them as your own." Blut confirmed as he nodded at the pair Hector put on a white mask that looked like a devil ape whilst the woman put on a mask that resembled a raven. Should Felix give the signal Blut would dash over to he designated position and take out his chaos crossbow ready to take out the caravans.

Lycidas nodded at the man, “This should be incredibly simple the first few times, though I believe they have a schedule on when the caravans should be arriving and will be suspicious if they do not.” The man moved along the road, large hood pulled over his head and waited for the first caravan to arrive. He had instructed the two others to wait within the treeline, out of visible sight, while Lycidas made first contact with whichever caravan. He had a plan to point call out the first target for Blut to remove by pointing at them, the other two were to come immediately after the shot to ensure maximum damage to the caravan within quick succession. As the first caravan rolled within distance, seemingly coming from the city of Cenril? Rynvale through Cenril’s port? It was unclear which, it had four guards and a man as a driver, seemed noble? Merchant like? Whomever he was he had money. Lycidas approached to conduct conversation while out in the open, only to hear the words, “Halt!” As two of the guards approached the large man. Their size was miniscule compared to the massive vampire, “You can not approach the caravan any further! Please stand back as it’s on it’s way to Larket for the relief effort.” Lycidas looked over the horses, the caravan and the guards surveying which would be the best to remove first. “Ahh my humblest apologies good sir but you see we’re here to help escort you to the city of Larket.” And of course, once Lycidas got close enough the guard didn’t have any belief that the man was being honest, for the mask kind of gave it away. “It’s a trap! We’re being attacked!” And Lycidas pointed at the merchant first, remove the driver and how might they get away?

Blut saw the signal as he sent a bolt right into the mans skull. The bolt flew in a arc of red lightning as it was imbued with chaos energy easily ripping through the standard armour of guards. Hector ran from his tree quickly impaleing the second guard and flinging him a good distance away his lycan strength made swinging the halbeard meer childs play for him. The women drew her blade as clicked a switch as the sword extended into a serated whip as she flung the blade across the horses necks when they reared. The blade wasn't two impressive meirly a weaponised fishing pole however it got the job done. The horses droped dead leaving the cart stranded until assistance arived. Blut trained his crossbow on the doors of the caravan if they seemed hostile they would die as he continued to watch through his spyglass.

Lycidas watched as the horses were slaughtered, a ding to their profits for sure but not a complete loss. There were still two guards remaining and the merchant who was left behind. The guards and merchant were outnumbered within moments of the battle beginning, having little time to react or respond to the sudden and quick ambush placed by Lycidas, Blut, and cohorts. “Leave back to where you came or be slaughtered with your friends.” The merchant was already shaking in fear and bolted to run but the guards had a job, their job was always placed on life or death. “Blut, the merchant.” As he rushed into the guards, shoulder down to smash into the first one and bring him to the ground. Once upon the ground, Lycidas moved quick, massive skull smashing down into the unfortunate man's own, crushing it and leaving brains all over the vampires own face. One left, Lycidas turned to spot him, wondering where he might of went.

Blut took the shot the bolt sored and headshot the merchant as he was running he died in a instant as the body dropped to the ground. The guard tried to sneak up on Lycidas but Taliya's blade wrapped around his foot as she tripped the guard Hector swung his halbeard and with one swing he cleaved the mans head in two on the ground. The three looked around to scan for more resistance Blut quickly loaded a new bolt as he looked further down the guard

Lycidas searched around the carvan, seeking to find if any more guards were about yet none were visibly seen. He spotted no more individuals from the caravan either. As the fighting seemed to wrap up he walked around the back to open the caravan, seeing what they might have claimed this day, only to find the back filled with medical supplies, food, and clothing. "This will only help in sales, unless you need this, Blut." The death knight looked about for a way to move the caravan and spotted none he turned back to the rogue's position, "We may have to pull this off the road." Blut jumped down from his position sliding down from his spot.

Blut scavaged the goods as he measured the worth of it. "This could go for dime a dozen back in Cenril. The medical industries are booming over there and the doctors can definently use this stuff." Blut continued to look through the goods before finding a vial labled antidote "I could use these by useing these we can walk through clouds of poisionus gas without suffering the side effects. Sea urchin antidote boasts the bodys resistance to its toxins. Hector grab the cloathing and Taliya take the medicine, Felix you can choose what to do about the food take as much as we can then burn the rest. We can't risk people getting a early warning from seeing the site." Bluts goons grabbed their respective resources as they moved with Blut to hide them leaveing Felix with the food resources.

Lycidas looked at the resources of food, wheels spinning in his head where this might make the best use. He had a fairly good idea of when and where he would be utilizing this. The vampire turned to face Blut as they were leaving, “In the future, if we leave the horses attached we can utilize them as well. We re-shoe them, sell them, or keep them, and it makes it easier. The caravan as well can be repainted, then used for distribution. However, if you want to simply burn and scorch, that is fine.” As the man searched behind him something seemed off in the distance.. “Is that.. Another?”

Blut leaped into the cliff climbing back into his position and takeing out his spy glass. Blut calculated the distance before they get here they were out of earshot range but the were approaching fast Blut waved his hands in a criptic fashion. The three ground troups suddenly looked like the dead soldiers wounds and blood all over their armour "Hector take the drivers seat Felix Taliya get in the caravan pretend to be one of them." Blut crouched in his sniping spot illusionary bandits appeared around the caravan as the scene played out like on repeat of the raid they just did. Blut closed his eyes and stayed stationary in a meditive position all these illusions take alot of effort to maintain.

Lycidas got into the back of the caravan, laying down upon his back and awaiting the arrival of the next supply caravan. The man looked the part, blood, brains, all over him that until checking it’d be hard to discover for certain. As the caravan spotted the other up ahead, the riders and guards ushered it on with due haste, attempting to come to the supply wagon’s aid.

Blut heard the approaching Caravan and guards and in due fashion made the raiders run off with the suppliers they had stolen. The guards started checking the corpses before letting out a yell "Is anyone alive in there." Blut realeased his illusionary bandits allowing him to take up his crossbow once again. The costumes were effortless however so Blut could aim without needing to much concentraion to maintain them.

Lycidas shifted slowly, with immense patience towards the back of the caravan. The vampire watched as the guards searched the scene, moving from one pool of blood to another. One of the guards from the second caravan came close to Blut, two of them towards the back where Lycidas froze, and the final guard went around the front. The drivers of the other caravan remained on the wagon, awaiting to hear what he should do, scared the raiders might return.

Blut survayed the area around him takeing note of the guards around the caravan. Blut swiftly shot the driver of the caravan a signal to spring into action. Hector sprung forward swinging his halbeard whilst Taliya waited to follow Felixs move. They didn't know about the pair inside. As for the guard approaching Blut before he could even say anything Blut pounced on the man knocking him to the ground and winding the poor man before ending the dance by drawing a dagger from his sleeve as he plunged the blade down into the mans throat.

Lycidas watched as the two guards turned, startled to hear the driver’s scream of agony just before dying.. And that was when the knight sprung forth from the read of the caravan. He dove at the two men with ferocity, hands attempting to grasp both of their heads in a single leap. The men ducked, managing to be hit upon the top of the head but avoid the grasp of the large death knight. As Lycidas turned to face the two men, his eyes were fixated upon their weapons, rushing to attempt stopping them from drawing their blades.

Blut watched with a small smirk as whilst the men were distracted with the large vampire Hector and Taliya approached from behind impaleing the men with their respective weapons. Their eyes fixated on the caravan as they walked slowly towards it. "Are we expecting more guards or this the last of them" Hector asked as he none shaluntly walked towards the caravan the lycan had alot of confidence in his skills as he rested the halbeard on his shoulder the corpse of the guard still dangleing on it whilst Taliya swiped her blade cleaning the blood off it. Paired with the huge vampire behind them it made a rather imposing presence Blut swiped his blade cleaning any excess blood off it before resheething the blade in his sleeve and returning to his crossbow.

Lycidas nodded his appreciation for the two as they skewered the two men upon the ground, his eyes fixated upon the other caravan. As the vampire watched the wagon with curiosity, only to hear the sounds of something starting to fly. Bolts began to whiz forth from the back of the caravan, as the remaining member of the guard had a crossbow capable of firing multiple bolts in rapid succession. Each shot fired towards Lycidas and group, a total of ten rounds before you heard, “Crap crap crap!” And the man attempting to reload from the safety of cover.

Blut 's eyes widdened as he watched the bolts fly Hector was glad he still had the corpse on him as he held it infront of him the corpse acting as a shield. Taliya wasn't so lucky as she took three shots to the torso area of her body "Taliya no!" Hector yelled as he rushed to his compainions aid holsting the halbeard to rest on his shoulder his meat sheild behind him to block any more bolts. "Come on stay with me Tal your going to make it we got supplies just don't close your eyes alright." Hector begged as he held his companion applying pressure over the wounds to slow down the bleeding Blut leaped from his position quickly getting a new angle on the shooters. Blut fired a shot as it wized past Felixs arm boreing straight through the mans head as he droped dead instantly not even being able to let off a scream.

Lycidas moved past the shot companion of the group, heartless it may have seemed but it was not his concern. The horses were intact with this caravan, the supplies in the back of this new one was more of the same as before. It seemed that people were mostly attempting to send supplies to keep Larket alive. As Lycidas moved through the back, he then approached the original caravan again, loading supplies from one caravan to the other, without hesitation and moving past both dying victim and her comrade. “If she’s going to make it, you perhaps should use the supplies on her.. Or, there is a healer’s hut to the south of here, run with her there and take a horse.” He pointed at the one attached to the caravan, “It’s part of your portion of the supplies anyways.”

Hector nooded at the vampire as he got his companion on a horse the pair galloped along passing Blut not even achknowledgeing their leader in order to get the woman to the healing hut. Blut walked forward to meet up with Felix he's going to need help transporting the supplies. "So thats two caravans we gonna cut our losses and load everything into this one or we going to wait for another. I don't want to risk alerting the guards of our presence so what do you suggest we do." Blut asked looking back at the caravan.

Lycidas confirmed the others words, “I’ll load everything into one, then disperse it to you soon. If there is anything you want to take now load what you can and go. I’ll take care of the broken caravan. You’re to do as you see fit with your people.” He continued to load everything from one caravan to the other, “Unless you’d like to take the caravan, the choice is yours. But, I have ways to distribute everything and return the value back to you.”

Blut took a crate of medical supplies and antidotes from the next. "I'll take a horse I don't need a caravan especially one that smells as bad as this one. But I expect payment soon deliver it to my favorite bar and I will look forward to working with you again." Blut took off on the horse on his way to cenril leaveing Felix with all the supplies.

Lycidas lifted up the other horse, placed it in the back of the wrecked caravan, corpses dragged inside, and with some time and effort.. Had them all placed within. The man ignited the caravan with a quick flame, seemingly from thin air and watched the pyre burn. With that, the man moved back to his remaining horse and caravan, drawing it away from the scene.
