RP:The Butcher the Baker the Candlestick Maker

From HollowWiki

Message Renaldo enters through the large ornate tavern doors into the newly rebuilt tavern that is once again worthy of the name hanging corpse. Weary emerald eyes drift across the familiar scenery, catching a glimpse of the puppetteer, though at first paying no mind. Brushing a greasy untamed lock of pitch black hair from his visage the lycan approaches a barmaid, whispering lightly into her ear before he grabs a seat within earshot of the puppetteer. Pyde is found sitting atop a table practicing at his skills, though he was skilled in it he didn't want to get rusty. Some of the duller wit patrons found his mechanisms funny, and so they surrounded his table. He offers the new patron a bright smile and asks, "Care to join a show, good sir?" Renaldo gives a slight dip of the chin in response and moves forward, pulling up a chair and seating himself. Awaiting the show, receiving all that is visually offered through his glowing emerald pools Pyde :: Upon the table you see three puppets, Butcher, a Baker, and a Candlestick Maker. "Now some of you may have already heard a similar story, but not one like this you see. These three were notorious, and their mischief of la mythic level. Almost to the point some found it hard to believe." The fermin makes the puppets dance around the table wielding their tools of trade menacingly, the Butcher with his obvious cleaver, the Baker with his rolling pin, and the Candlestick Maker with his with his cauldren of wax. Renaldo observes the puppets frolicking about the table, never having heard this story he sits back in the chair and enjoys the show. Pyde wiggles his fingers and the puppets stop still, a fourth puppet jumps from Pyde's belt and begins its path among them. "So in our story, a young boy gets lost in the woods, I'm sure that's always the story, but he stumbles across a run down looking shop that just so happens to be there. Now this particular shop has certain conditions to be made present. 1) The moon has to be in alignment with the other planets along with our world. 2) Though the season is summer snow must fall from the heavens. And 3) At this time the trees will bleed from their buds and icicles of red must hand from them like gnashing teeth. As the boy wanders deeper and deeper into the woods, it gets colder and colder, he begins chattering and shivering. The how ever cold he is, he's determined to push forward." The puppet mimics the boy in the story, and eventually falls down at the feet of the three other puppets. Renaldo leans forward, obviously deeply attuned to the story, intrigued by the plot, visualizations play through the lycans mind as he tries to imagine thees happenings as if in the woods of vailkrin himself. Pyde :: "As you can see the boy is in horrible shape, even though that is the case, he pushed forward, even going as far to crawl up the the doorstep to the shop and weakly knock at the door." The puppet boy knocks on the table to give a real effect of knocking on wood. The dim patrons are excited by this, and move in closer intrigued by the happenings. "At first there is no answer, so he knocks again, only weaker this time as the cold seeps to his bones, and as he passes out, the doors open and he sees a pair of boots before everthing goes dark." The puppet slumps to the table as if its strings were cut. The Candlestick Maker steps forward as from the edge of the table and picks up the boy, only to lay him down as if on a bed. "When the boy wakes up he sees the Candlestick Maker as a kindly older gentleman, as he is the one who is also tending to his wounds. The boy asks, "Where am I, sir?" The Candlestick maker replies, "I found you on our front steps. You were in pretty bad shape. I have a bath waiting for you. It will warm up your bones from the cold outside." The Candlestick Maker shows the boy to the cauldren, where he can take his bath. Though old and cover in a thin layer of wax it can hold even the largest of men." Pyde take a break and drinks from a nearby cup of water. Story telling does take its toll. Renaldo remains interlocked in the fantasy realm being so brilliantly crafted by the puppeteer, awaiting in suspense the lycan also takes a few long deep swigs from his mug, letting the bittersweet amber fluid to take him away. Pyde :: "After the boy's bath, the Candlestick Maker made him stay in bed until he was better. He had the luxury of a king, he was given meals in bed, and told to stay in bed despite how he felt. "Remember this old man knows when better is, and you will stay in bed untill told otherwise. Well unless you have to use the bathroom of course, but other than that, stay." With that the boy did as he was told. Not moing until he needed to. Now unbeknownst to him, the Butcher and the Baker were preparing this boy for the meals of his lifetime. Never would he ever recieve such good quality cuts of meat, or even such fine pasteries for for a king. Now the Candlestick Maker had a farm of bees below the shop with an even larger garden for the bees to live off of. The wax would go to the candles, and the honey would be used for Baker as well as the herbs in the garden. Which on occasion would also escape from a pipe that help as a air shaft for such a garden. These sweet smells drifted to the edge of the woods, and allure the boys sister. It would be a while before she got there. So as The butcher and Baker begin to create the most grand feast for the boy. The scents wafting form the kitchen reach the nose of the young boy and he begins drooling after knowing such food he has eaten already this would out do most anything. So he wanders down into the kitchen, only to find that the Butcher was at work on the meat. Now he didn't mind that, but the boy did soon find out that the Butcher was using humans to create the oh so tasty meals he was used to. At that, the boy screams and runs for the front door. The Candlestick Maker slams the door shut and says, "I told you to stay in bed, but now I have to take care of you." When the boy turns to run from the old man, the Baker is there and knocks the boy out with his rolling pin. "We can't have you run from us or even die before we can use you," the Baker says gruffly. Pyde puts away the puppet of the boy, and sets down a puupet of a girl, the little sister of the boy. He has her dance around skipping along the top of the table, "The girl is the sister of the boy who was caught, though she was dresed for the weather, even though it was such a drastic change. She skips along in the snow, and around trees playing with the animals and singing with the birds. She spots the shop in the woods near a clearing lined with the bloody trees, and the most wondreful aromas reached her sniffer. she follwed it into the house, and right into the dining room where the most luscious of meals was laid out. She sits herself in a chair and begins feeding herself. "Oh this is so scrumptious!" she exclaims. She digs into a meat pie, such a savory thing she found. she spots a few cakes that catch her eye, and begins chowing down. Eventually she tires and falls asleep in the chair. When she wakes up the Candlestick Maker was there, and he smiles kindly at her and says, "I found you in our dining room, you didn't look well so I brought you here so you can feel better. Now stay inbed until I say, that way we will know you are better, despite how you feel." And that is where I leave the story for tonight. I hope you had fun listening in, and watching my puppets go about." He gives a bows and begins collecting his marionets as they walk up to him for their master to pick them up
