RP:Ryker Visits Cenril

The Troblin Faerie, The Bronze Dragon, And The Blind Elf Lycan

Dyzz wanders about the sandy beaches, watching the water and trotting along merrily. It was a great day for esplorin!

Ryker awoke on the third day with a better outlook on reality as it stood. There was a lot of work to be done but he would perform his duties diligently and would return to his proper standing as a keeper of order and peace. This would be the day that he rose from the depths of his underwater cavern. It was quick when he shook himself again, having put on about fifty pounds since he woke up from the meat and other organic material he had ingested over the past couple of days. Towards the back of his sleeping chamber he went, nearing the escape tunnel that he cleared only the day before. The dragon gave one more mighty stretch before he dove into the clear waters that resided in the route that would guide him to the west side of Rynvale. Spread forelimbs and natural webbing allowed him to glide through the waters with both a swift and a limber ease that few could actually achieve. Faster and faster he shot through the gentle curve until he was out of the branching of caves where he made his lair. As he made it out and began to sink he spread out his massive green-edged bronze wings, flapping them which allowed the massive beast to rise towards the surface without wasting any time. He launched himself to the west, not yet prepared to see the dire condition of his home island towards cenril. It would be a while before he made it there, but when he finally reached glorious freedom it would all be worth it.

Dyzz skipped along merrily, watching her footprints fade in the sand, and digging for conches after watching some other kids do it. Unlike them, though.... she ate it, shell and all, swallowing without chewing, and many kids that were already eying her warily started backing slowly away from where she was. She didn't seem to notice, looking for more conch shells... maybe she'd chew on one~

Raziel is currently working at the pawn shop to the south East, that which belongs to her and her father. A few customers would have come and gone, a few sales made, though Raz seems rather off in the distance at the moment and not expecting anything odd to happen today... Just another quiet day in the city of thieves and pirates, apparently.... For nothing seemed to ever happen to Raz while here...

Ryker stopped raising about ten meters from the ocean’s surface and then went on a straight course for cenril, his velocity and bulk creating an increasing swell as he neared the land. However again it would be a while before he actually appeared. His wings wrapped around his body, tail gyrating madly which shot him forward like a torpedo at speeds unknown to man and beast alike other than of his own kind. Other sea creatures were panicking in his wake as his movements were whipping up a trail of bubbles that obscured just about everything in his wake. A thick film, like that of a shark’s covered his eyes in case some floating debris should invade the space of his face. At the same time his forelimbs stretched out to travel more fluidly. All this served to make him go even faster, and soon he was pushing forward, cutting a path through the waters like a hawk in the sky, just quicker.

Dyzz looked out over the distant waters, and saw something moving. She squinted, trying to see further, but it was far off... a few people were pointing and mumbling, wondering what the growing speck was.

Raziel sighs as she moves about her business, talking to the troll at the register, to see how the days been going, while the Minotaur guards watch over the store with scrutinizing eyes. Raz being watched over by a particularly tall Mino that seems as though he'd be both a family friend and a body guard. She'd be paying little attention to much of anything, and it was hard to hear small things past the granite walls of the shop some days, anyway. Raziel, however, hears her raven cawing outside and goes out there to investigate, the bird not being allowed inside.

Ryker followed the trail, the vortex he made behind him actually pulling in debris and smaller fish due to the powerful suction. At the same time the electricity began to flow, the beak like sections of his mouth parting and filling with a bright light. As he got closer people would wonder what was illuminating the water in such a way. Should they ever figure out they would probably run off in utter terror as the dragon was getting too excited so to speak and was readying a powerful static charge in his throat. It would not be long now, before he came to the shore, raising up to fifteen feet below the ocean’s surface instead of thirty. The swell increased in size, perhaps mistaken for a wave, but no tide would create such oddities as this cone shaped object that was racing towards the beach at speeds that he had reached.

Dyzz saw the odd looking wave, and stared at it open mouthed, drooling a little. The faerie screamed at her to run, but as usual, she just ignored the pestering presence in her head. She said dragon! over and over, but Dyzz was still convinced those things didn't exist.

Raziel listens to her bird familiar's chittering voice going on about what he sees in the distance, and at one point he gets so excited that he flies to Raz, and she has to hold him and stroke his inky black wings to calm him, her currently pure white outfit, hair, and eyes, sharply contrasting the bird. "The hell is going on?.." she'd start moving in the direction of the beach, only to find the large hand of Bresk, the guard that was watching her, grasp her shoulder and pull her back into the store... He knows how often she gets into trouble. Though she'd still be listening and waiting for a chance to move and get out of work to see what's possibly invading her home. Honestly, she's really curious.

Ryker was almost there, merely a thousand feet from the beach in itself. Slowly he unfurled his wings, letting the appendages stretch out, his eighty foot expanse spread out, widening the oncoming ‘wave’ while slicing a path through the waters much like an airplane in the sky. Slowly he continued to rise until his massive body was just below the surface, large amounts of water flung into the air. Suddenly as he came to the point where the water got shallow, he dove down, disappearing and the swell fading into nothing. Where did he go? He just wanted to make a grand entrance is all and so dove deep, a couple hundred feet down below, which wouldn’t feel like much at all seeing as he was half that distance in length. All would be silent for the next moment until he chose to make his move.

Dyzz watched the incoming wave, and braced herself, then was baffled when it disappeared. So baffled, infact, that she wandered out into the water, swimming to where the wave had been, and looking around, with eyes that didn't see very far underwater, for where the wave had gone. What a mystery!

Raziel blinks, for she was standing near the entrance of the large sliding door that was on the building. The sound of something on the waves and water was gone... Perhaps it was nothing at all in the first place. Still, after setting Kraar upon her shoulder, she goes behind the counter and grabs her black fedora, and her sabre, clipping the sheath of the bladed weapon in place on her belt. Her instincts were telling her something was up, like a calm before a storm... Or even a storm itself.

Ryker stopped once he reached the ocean’s floor which wasn’t far since he was in a shallower water section. Cenril lay only several hundred feet away. Wrapping his arms around him once more, his back legs were crunched, until he pressed himself forward powerfully and shot off towards the surface, the light in his mouth unusually bright. He was rising perhaps too fast, he would launch out of the water like a rocket. Tail swishing powerfully and his beautifully colored scales only becoming too clear. His giant head broke the surface, his maw unhinged and open as it released the blast of electrical energy into the sky where it blasted and parted a cloud, a loud thunderclap following immediately after which cascaded over Cenril. The Dragons body glittered in the light, his tail having rose up under Dyzz, possibly catching her and tossing her into the air if she didn’t grab hold. However his intentions would not purposely do this, he just didn’t know the small troblin was there. His wings opened up sending out a massive sea spray that would drizzle over the beach along with a powerful gale. This was also very revealing of the twenty-three thousand pound beast in all his glory, bronze scales reflecting the shine of the sun while the emerald hued edges of his wings gave a bit of brilliance and stood out against the various shades of bronze that covered his scales. At the same time the film over his eyes lifted to reveal the giant green tourmaline orbs as they gazed upon the beach and its occupants. He was as of yet still unaware of the little troblin somewhere nearby.

Dyzz saw the light, as though all the water around her was suddenly glowing brightly, and lighting up more and more until... The water broke open, and a huge, shiny mass shot up out of the water, rocking her along the waves, and she yelled loudly, for such a small thing, as she desperately thrashed and tried to grab ahold of something... Using the body altering techniques the spirits had been makinng her practice, she made the tips of her fingers slimy and suction gripping, and stuck onto the tail of the thing. When she found herself pulled up out of the water and into the air, she found the shiny scales blinding her, reflecting sunlight. Was it really a dragon? She had to know! She used her grip, which worked in spite of the wetness and weirdness of the situation, and crawled at a quick pace along the long body, working her way towards the tippy top as lightning shot somewhere around her.

Raziel made her escape when the thunderclap happened, distracting the guards for a moment, just long enough, for the elven lycan to slip out and dash towards the sound, her white gown getting a tad messed up, but she didn't seem to care. As what appears to be rain pours down upon Raz's head, she is all too happy that she wore her fedora. She'd pause when she got close enough to the scene to hear the chattering of the people at the beach, and Kraar squawking to her about the dragon... This causing Raz's eye to twitch... Much bigger than she thought it would be, though she hoped it wouldn't stay in her town long.

Ryker roared, his rough but heavily deep voice covering the expanse of the beach and beyond that into the town. Many of the women and children ran away screaming, men panicking, grabbing weapons of any kind as they thought they were under attack. More people from the town came out of their houses by the sea to gaze upon what they thought was the next biggest storm in history. It actually happened to be an enormous dragon that their eyes would be feasting upon. However they wouldn’t be able to see it clearly due to the fact that he was in the light of the sun. Those nearby that were not afraid would most likely be in awe as he flapped his wings, blowing away sand, rubble and water from where he planned on landing. That just wouldn’t be for a while yet. Turning his head down, he spotted each person, taking faces to memory, even seeing the strangely clothed woman before he gazed up at the sky and took off. His massive wings carried him far and fast, rapidly rising to above the clouds. “Haha!” his excitement sent a secondary burst of electrical power outwards into the clouds, filling the clouds nearby with his power surge. Ryker was only vaguely aware that someone was following him. Or so he thought.

Dyzz found it hard to hold on as the thing went up, and up, and up... she had to adjust her lungs and circulation, her ears popping horridly with the steep change in elevation... but she pressed on, until she made it all the way to his head, and suctioned her butt and planted it. She peeked her head over his eye, and looked into teh big, vertically slit pupil. "Hiya, mr dragon! Boy, are you big! You is all shiny, too!" She wore a charming little grin that looked silly with her once nicely arranged hair in wet, dripping clumps all around her shoulders, her wet rags barely coverning her properly. She was having an amazing time, though.

Raziel only moves around the general area, in an unnoticeable fashion to those who were staring at the dragon, her pointed ears taking in everyone's conversations and voices, keeping them all in her photographic memory. She wouldn't be able to hear what was going about it the sky, but the blind elf is rather intrigued with what's happening at ground level anyways. Though as she finishes her circle back to where she first was she bumps into Bresk, the minotaur clearing his throat. "Uh... Heh, hey Bresk." is all she'd say to him, before the creature looks skyward then around at the people, keeping his mouth shut like usual.

Ryker only noticed the little creature when she started tromping around on his head. Then she dared to sit her rear on his head. As long as she didn’t do anything he probably wouldn’t mind. As of right that moment he was too joyous to be angry or annoyed. He just found it to be partially entertaining. “Greetings zere young vun.” His voice would be like a bellow to her as he continued to rise, stopping just above the cloud line. Even with the obstructions he could zero in on the beach with almost perfect clarity. The air, it smelt so fresh! He was elated, almost high it would seem. “Ready to go back down?” he understood that most land dwellers couldn’t survive up here for long at all, the oxygen thin in general and unable to use the little there was to offer up here. Even if down near the ground the air was contaminated with pollutants. Before she could answer however he had already flipped his massive body and began his rapid descent towards the ground, going even faster than he was getting to Cenril.

Dyzz hung on tight, suction forming her entire body to hang on for the descent... it was one wild ride. She woulda whooped and hollared for joy, but she was so scared she about to pee herself, and going so fast she couldn't do anything but hold on anyway. Still, it was one heck of a ride~!

Raziel hears the air whooshing by the large, scale covered, beast. And while other people among the beach ran or prepared to fight, she just stood there with Bresk, not really scared of anything happening. Though her raven let out a startled caw at the creatures descent.

Ryker opened his mouth and fired one more burst of thunderous power, the bolt crashing into the ocean’s surface and blowing a gap in the waters, looking like a crater with walls immediately crashing down to fill in the hole. He slammed his wings back, opening them at the last minute to throw them up into the air and glide quick over the waters, his claws trailing through the ocean surf. That was until the elegant beast landed upon the beach, tail sweeping through the sand as his talons dug in. “Greetings.” His maw opened wide in a yawn, accidentally firing off one more bolt of lightning which cracked open in the sky, another thunderclap echoing over Vailkrin somewhere.

Dyzz whoops and hollars now that she can, clapping for the show from on the dragon's back. "I found one, I found one!" She seemed to be trying to get everyone's attention. "I founds a dragon! They's real, they's real!"

Raziel smirks at Dyzz's words, but the smile soon goes away, a slight growl releasing from her mouth. Were anyone close a slightly odd cracking nose could be heard as though a bone snapped out and into place. But the newly made lycan only stands there, keeping her hearing up, for she didn't wish for someone to be invading her space... Her territory. Though she did seem lightened up by the troblin's antics.

Ryker curled back his lips in a toothy grin, his fangs daunting in every sense of the word. Those enough would tear apart any of these minor houses by the seashore, and his jaw could easily crush the people gathering. These thoughts would however not cross his mind for he believed in peace more than war, unless it was necessary. “Vell uf course ve are veal. Vut ver zhu shinking?” he turned his head, just trying to get the crazy critter that thought she had ‘found’ him off. However he was sticking to him hopefully would wear off. At the same time his eyes turned to the sound of growling. “Vut iss zhour problem young girl?” His accent was heavy, having not fully picked up on the formation of human words when he was last awake. If one were smart though they would understand what he was saying anyways. His head turned to Raziel and the minotaur, his breath hot and the smell of seaspray flowing off his body almost overwhelmingly. Just depended on the sensitivity of the senses. Otherwise his breath smelled of shark meat, blood, and seaweed. Maybe a little turtle as well.

Dyzz found herself tumbling off, and landing on her face, rump in the air. She scrambled back, and sat up properly, rubbing a temporarily sore cheek while getting a good look at the large dragon. "You sure is real, alright! I not think such big things could exist, but I has seen giants, and now I guess I seen dragons, too. Makes me feel kinda tiny, to be honest. Real tiny like." SHe rubbed a little harder, then stood up and looked him in the eye... if she could over his snout, depending on which way he was looking. "You sure got a funny way of talking. Where ya from? You eats a lotta fishies, and you came outta the water, so I guesses you from the waters. You so shiny! I like shiny things." The little troblin rambled on and on, her excited mind unable to stay on topic for very long.

Raziel crinkles her nose at his scent, her alabaster eyes facing the general direction of his own eyes, from beneath the brim of her hat. Her red lips part and bare over her teeth as another growl escapes. "My problem, is you're awfully close to my shop. In my town. Shooting what my bird says is lightning, into my father's ocean. As long as you stop shooting stuff off in this area, around all these civilians and children, I won't have an issue with anything. Be respectful of my home, and we'll get along nicely." she faces Dyzz with a smile when she's calmed herself. "Heh. You sound like someone my brother, Roy, would enjoy talking to, dear." the elf chuckling, before turning to Bresk and mentioning that it was probably time for her to go visit her kids.

Dyzz heard her comment about Roy. "Hey, lady, you is the sister of the drow elfs? How is that? You isn't drow elfs, is ya? He gave me lotsa meats... I wants to thank him! Can you tell him I say's thanks?" She jumped up and down, and danced in circles, oblivious, excited, and not knowing what to do with herself! The excitable troblin's little mind was easily overwhelmed, and now she was almost insensible in her whooping and laughter.

Ryker turned one eye to watch the troblin with curiosity. His other eye was in a fixed position, staring down the lycan woman and her companion. The slits of that single eye narrowed, taking every last detail of her complexion to memory. As she spoke about someone actually ‘owning’ the ocean he felt a bit hurt. Not emotionally. But the actual idea of someone owning the sea was preposterous, so much in fact that he felt angered. “Zhu all did not own ze vaterss before, and zhu shtill do not own zem. Zey belong shtrictly to us creatures of zha shea. Like me.” He growled in return, his much more intimidating than the lycan’s own. He even smashed his tail against the beach for added effect, sending sand everywhere behind him and briefly parting a small section of water before it filled itself back in. His head raised higher and stared down at the woman, “Vut be zhour name girl?”

Dyzz heard the dragon's anger, and the tail flopped down, and she flailed about, then fell on her rump when the ground shook. She crawled as speedily as she could, going to hide behind the elf woman who was Roy's sister, susposedly. If the dragon got mad, she could protect a scared little troblin~!

Raziel smiles at Dyzz "Mhmm. I'm his sister. Though I'm not a Drow elf. I'm a wood elf. He and I are possibly from the same lands though. I'll pass the message on, my dear." When Ryker makes his comment and sounds, however, Raziel is not fazed by his growl, or tail, her white hair bristling beneath the hat. "Not his as in owning it, you oaf! His as in something he loves!" another growl releasing from her throat. "And I'll not tell you my name, as I have no reason to. To give ones name so easily is foolish and can get assassins at your back."

Dyzz peeped out from behind the elf lady, "Ya, givin names is gives you 'sassins on your back! Those things are itchy! My name not Dyzz, cuz I no want sassin's on my back, thank you very much mr. lizard!" She was shaking her fist bravely, now.

Ryker turned both eyes upon Raziel, tourmaline emerald hues rearing back with his head before he shot several bolts of lightning into the sky, “No vun vill ever own zhe vaters! Not hyumans, not anyshings!” he roared at the heavens his voice scaring away a small group that had come to investigate what the hell was going on. At the same time he found amusement in Dyzz’s words, taking her name to memory. “Sho be it. Hy vill not give my name eiszer.” He spread his wings yet again, beginning to beat weakly, his body becoming lighter but not yet rising from the ground. The winds created from such actions was enough to send a spray of sand in Raziel and Dyzz’s direction, but all unintentional. “Tell me. Vut is zhe condition of zhis schity.”

Raziel smiles at Dyzz again, finding her rather innocent, and happy to meet someone like her, "Don't worry about assassin's, dear. They wouldn't be sent at someone like you. And if they are, Roy and I'll be there to help you. Though she faces back to him, covering her eyes. "No one does own the waters. Never said that in literal terms, hot head." though when he asks of the condition of a city that her and her father have been working on alone to fix, she gets irritated. "The city is perfect in every way, shape, and form. Why do you ask?" her teeth grinding together when she finishes speaking.

Dyzz snuggles against her hip, the short troblin loving the feeling of safety in her words~ "You hear that mr. lizard? I not get sassins! Yay! And the city is nice and pretty, for a city filled with soft-skins, at least." She smiled, glad she could be useful, and glad it didn't seem that she was going to get eaten or smushed today. "I loved the ride in the sky, it was very, very fun!" She was hopping a little bit now, excited again. She was such a young troblin~

Ryker shook his head, turning to the lowering sun, deciding to take Raz’s words as truth for now. There was so much to do! So many places to go. “Vell zhen. Hy shee zat zhis is all under control. For now atleasht. However.. Hy shink zhat Hy’ll be off for now” he beat his wings faster, rising slowly from the ground until he was off into the sky, listening to them for a little longer before taking off in the direction of kelay. So much to explore that he had been missing in his slumber, what was there now? How much has changed?

Raziel goes to very gently set her hand upon the troblins head, when she snuggles against the very tall elf (Raz being 5' 10".) "Nope, you're not my dear. You're too sweet for them to be after you." would turn back to the dragon, smiling when Dyzz mentions the city being pretty. It's the only city the elf had ever lived in, and she loves it. She wasn't going to let anyone storm in here, quite literally, and act like the governer. In her mind, that dragon is in need of being put in his place. Though she'd not speak another word to him, only turning to Dyzz. "Dear, I'm heading to Roytoc's house right now. My children live there with their dad, Roy's brother. Would you like to come with and see him?"

Dyzz mouth falls open. "The dark elf's has a house in the city? I thoughts dark elves lived underground, real deeps-likes! I guess he must be lots different though, huh? All the stories says drows do terrible things to little goblins." She shivers a bit, remembering stories. "Yay! I'll fix my hair on the way, then!" She hops little circles around Raziel, fingers working with surprising nimbleness in her thick crop of wet, messy hair. Soon, it would once again be in an intricate style, to make a troll lady proud~

Ryker found their conversation to be uninteresting, the words of mere short-lived surface walkers. The small one, the blue skinned creature was little more than intriguing, while the girl and her minotaur were an odd couple at best. He found himself not wanting to bother, in a couple of generations they would all be dead either way. He would move on as if it was nothing, for that would not be a long time in the expanse of his life at all. Quickly he rose the beating of his wings becoming ever less apparent to those below as he lofted above the clouds. Immediately following, he turned his body towards Kelay and furled his wings to his body and began his dive-bomb of the small town, leaving the two to do as they so pleased with one another.

Yummies!

Raziel chuckles with a nod. "Yup, he has a place in my home, and I have a place in his. But, his home isn't here, I'm afraid. His home is somewhere in Vailkrin. I can lead you there, if you'd like." she seems rather happy now that the dragon seems to be gone.

Dyzz thinks for a bit, chin in hand. "Iunno where Veil-kin is. I'll just go where you's going, that way I dun hasta get losts!" She nodded her head fervently, proud of her logic. It was too bad she already had no clue where she was, nor how she had gotten here, excepting that she knew she walked.

Raziel nods, telling her guard to go on home for the night, and holding her hand out to see if Dyzz would take it. "Alright then. I'm certain my brother will be happy to see you! He's always so happy when he's around people that are cheerful. He probably needs it now, too." she'd begin walking off to the direction of the city gates, keeping the thought of Ryker in the back of her head. Her father no doubt heard the scaley creatures words all the way from the shop...

Her father no doubt heard the scaley creatures words all the way from the shop...

Dyzz took her hand, gladly skipping alongside her. "Being happy is all a state of the mind, yup. Being happy makes more happy too, and the more happy there is, the less hurt there is, yup! No, you shush faerie, I can go where I please! I don't wanna tend your stinky grove!" The faerie presence in her mind... which she had eaten not a week ago... was getting quite irritated with her once more now that the danger had passed, badgering her about protecting the grove the faerie was supposed to protect. "If you care bout the groves so much, you shouldn'ta gots eaten, you meanie!" She skips along, humming between bouts of talking to herself, her hair nice and troll like. She had to use one hand often to hold up her soaking wet rags so they didn't slip off of her tiny form... she had been bigger, with nice, thick skin, until she ate that faerie.

Raziel faces Dyzz as she speaks, a grin appearing on her face, "Well, my, aren't you a wise one." she wouldn't pay any mind to the talking to herself, as Raz has a 'sister' who often does that as well, though for a different reason. The long legged elf ends up talking outloud to herself too, though as a mental note, "Hmmm... I really should make some venison stew for everyone when I get home...."

Dyzz gasps audibly. "Oooh, ooh, a stew, can I has? Stew is real yummies." Her stomach growled really loudly, punctuating her words.

Raziel grins and nods. "Of course, dear, as much as you like. But first we must get to Vailkrin... I could carry you and run, that would be faster I suppose. Of course, only if you'd like."

Dyzz hopped up and clung to Raziel with her strong, little arms around her neck, hanging from her like a little monkey. "Yay, let's goes! To the yummies!"

Raziel balances herself, the raven flying off ahead when the troblin clings to her back. The lycan elf smiles to her "Alright then." Raz leaning slightly forward and taking off, not doing so bad of a job of running in her dress, for it didn't hinder such a thing. They be off to Vailkrin as fast as a long legged elf can run!
