LOCATION: Rynvale, A Harbor Under Reconstruction (rp’d location)

Awne breathes deeply of the fresh air of the water, idly twirling at her hair before pinning the silver tresses in a bun upon her with the onyx pins she had. Pleased with her hair out of the way and her choice of dress, a light white dress rather than the robe; much too stuffy for a nice day and work to be had, the feline glances out to the harbor as it comes into view. Smiling at the idea of her first day as the new crew's healer she looks down to the...dragon whose head she rode upon. "I see the harrborr Trrish!" she says lightly while petting her husbands head. "I'm so excited...I've been looking forrwarrd to this worrk all week..." she trails off as she nibbles at her lip "Do you think we'll do well?"

Trishtar had kept his eyes in the direction of the harbor and never wavered on their journey. At his wife's words he slows his swimming for a moment...his fins on both sides slanting down to add more resistance. This was just to add more time for him to think. Finally he chuckles in his large dragon form and rumbles in a deep purr, his only way of answering now before bellowing out to the harbor...announcing their arrival as he speeds up now, cruising like a demon fresh out of the underworlds. Ah how he loved to give his mate a thrill.

Vaar briskly walked into the harbor, every footstep thudded against the ground as it caught a taste of his weight. A look of confidence grazed his golden scaled features. His greenish hued eyes looked about the harbor to see what sort of a state it laid in only to see that everything was still a mess. The water still laid filled with debris, clogging up any work that could be done. There were two piles by the salty water, one of which was objects that could be reused, the other was things that couldn’t be. It looked like the men here, were keeping the orders they were given, well. The dwarven stone masons were busy working away on a huge slab of raw stone, it was in no doubt to be used for the new harbor wall. Finally he came to a halt within the harbor somewhere towards the middle. A few small tents had been erected here, housing a few different men who had been hurt earlier. He knew that Awne would see to them. From his reports, a near fatal accident had happened when a stone slab was being placed within the water, almost crushing a man. How this man was still alive, he could only guess at. It was here where he would wait for his crew members arrival at the docks. There was a lot to do and very little time to meet the demands.

Rilla :: A shadow in the skies and the smooth sound of wings was all that there was to indicate the arrival of another. The female was graceful in the sky, her landing just as practiced as any bird. Brilliant white wings disappeared-nothing more than tattoos on the skin of her back- as she pulled the leather jacket over top of yet another too short shirt the woman often wore. Mahogany curls were gathered into a twisted bun at the nape of her snowy neck, delicate tendrils falling around her face softly. The wind had pulled them from their confines and created a softer look as they settled around her elegant features. It all truth, she was just a little out of it today, nothing but the fact that her hair was out of her face would suggest such a thing. Rilla never did that. Soft footfalls began and then halted again as she spotted the others, she recognized Awne. A rather surprised expression changed the set of her mouth, playing on the corners of those rose lips. She had been with her adopted son. It would be easier to pretend that hadn't happened. Looking further she spotted Vaar and continued walking right up to him- obviously comfortable. "Hello." She breathed, looking up at the draconian with those crystalline eyes, not entirely sure what the man thought after last night.

Awne yelps at the sudden speed, gripping at her husbands head. A good thing she trusted him to get them through the debris and water safely and not run into the dock or she would have been far more afraid. As his pace slowed she prepared herself to move to the dock; only waiting for him to stop before she climbed off and onto the dock, brushing the dress lightly "Thank you, love!" she calls, rushing off ahead to weave her way to the center of the harbor; sapphire pools racking over the area to spy the tents and the people near them. Moving forward she smiles as the one she had met in the tavern appears to her vision. A light bow of her head is her greeting to the golden male "Hello Sirr..ah..Captain." she corrects herself with a sheepish grin, looking to the side of him to the sounds of groaning of the injured. "I do believe that is my post then yes?"

Trishtar had given a soft nuzzle to the feline as she dismounted his head, and quickly dove down underneath the waves. Mere seconds later he would emerge in his normal form, red spiky hair with avian wings coming from his back and slightly reddish skin, and a long slender tail behind him. As he lands on the dock he gives the same courtesy by bowing beside Awne. "Greetings." Looking around he would raise an eyebrow while looking over the harbor that was in shambles. "I do believe....that we will have our work cut out for us."

Vaar continued to look through the tents, taking note of everyone within them. Only a couple men were in dire need of healing. The notes upon their beds labeled what sort of state the men were in. A few men suffered from dehydration; they were obviously working very hard. The man who was almost crushed laid upon a makeshift bed, with a broken back and a few broken ribs. He was by far in the worst condition. All of this was troubling to Vaar as some men were putting the needs of the harbor before their own. His concentrated state was abruptly interrupted as he heard Rilla’s voice. A small smile spread across his golden lips. “Hello Rilla.” He said calmly as his gaze turned towards her. His greenish hued eyes began to study her for a moment only to leave her as he saw Awne and what must have been Trishtar approaching. “Hello Awne, It’s good see you.” He made direct eye contact as he spoke to her. “And you must be Trishtar.” A small nod was given towards the man. “You are correct, we do have our work cut out for us. As you can see the harbor still lays in ruins.” He stated calmly as he began moving away from the tents. “Awne, there a few men here that badly need your attention. A man almost died earlier when they began placing parts of the stone wall. From my guess he has a few broken ribs and a broken back. The other men have minor things, cuts and a couple of broken fingers. There are also a few men suffering from dehydration.” His voice paused for a moment as he realized he had not introduced anyone to Rilla. “Forgive me, I have forgotten to introduce the First mate upon my ship. This is Rilla.” He swept his arm to the side towards Rilla, a gesture to show who he was talking about. “She will be overseeing the activities of the people here as well.” His voice trailed off slightly as he looked towards Trishtar. “I could use your help in the water. There’s a lot of junk clogging the way. We need to pull out everything we can.” His gaze turned towards Rilla again. “Would you oversee the dwarves. They seem to have a bit of a drinking problem. That work ethic is what almost killed a man today.” His voice stayed calm and serious as he spoke.

Rilla turned to face the others around her as the spoke, professionalism taking over when she realized Vaar's response to her. That was fine, if he was going to act like nothing happened, she would as well. There was a pleasant expression in her eyes as she listened to all the speech quietly. The palm of her left hand rested against the blade of the rapier she was carrying, a habit she had gotten into when she first started carrying blades with her. A light blush dared to color the porcelain of her cheeks with rose at the introduction. It was unexpected, but not entirely unwelcomed. A casual wave with just two of her fingers acknowledged the fact and greeted the others without bothering with any sort of speech. The quiet she held was easy, obviously by choice. A laughing smile broke across her lips at the request. Dwarves with a drinking problem? Vaar really didn't know anything about her. "I suppose that will make for an interesting conversation. I'll give them a lovely lecture." Amusement twinkled in her eyes, shaking her head. Yet she didn't get right to it. The woman would wait a moment until the others had left to get started on their tasks. How on earth would Rilla deal with drinking dwarves? This was quite the problem.

Awne frowns at the list of injuries that were for her to deal with. She had her bag at least, the bag of tricks and seemingly deep pockets. The male with the broken back would have to be first; he would take the most time, though perhaps she should begin making the drink for the dehydration first to let it sit better.... The white felines mind was running already, hardly paying attention anymore though she managed a distracted nod in the general direction of the first mate..one who looked vaguely familiar but she couldn't quite place it right. Looking up to the male she nods her head "I'll get to worrk." she states simply with a brief smile before moving around her new captain and into the tent, tail flicking. A white ear twitches as she looks over the patients in need, taking in the ones that were visually apparent: bruises, signs of sunken skin from tiredness or dehydration, bandages waiting to be looked at or those simply laying down too hurt to move. Taking a deep breath the feline moves first to a table that would be hers to use, regardless of who had it before, it was needed now. Clearing a space for herself she sets the bag from her side on it and pulls, remarkably really, a cauldron from the pits of the bag. Jars follow suit, one with a white powder substance, sugar, one holding a few green fruits, lime, and one with an item that was far more apparent just from look, salt. A pitcher, a spoon, and a large jar of water are pulled next. The process was simple, pour the water to the cauldron for a larger space. Cut the lime in half and squeeze the juice to the water from both halves, the amount of water to lime ratio required the full lime, three pinches of salt and four spoonfuls of sugar. She stirs this together for a moment until the water began to clear then moves away to the first patient, letting the concoction settle. Bright eyes move to the bed with chart marking the man from the accident. "Hello" she says softly, motioning with her hand for him to not speak, she didn't want him to be in more than than he was already. Moving to his side she rests a hand gently at his shoulder, her fingers curling down towards his shoulder blade while the other rested on his stomach. "Hold still, and brreathe slowly." she says softly as the glow settles over her hands, blue-grey in color that moves from her hands to cover his body, her eyes glowing white as her vision moves with the magic to watch over it.

Trishtar looks with a smile at Rilla as well as a nod in her direction. Turning his attention back to the, captain was it? Yes, best term for now, he would assume. "Where should I get started? No doubt there must be an enormous amount of rubble underneath the waters..." At the moment he seemed to be thinking to himself and to Vaar at the same time. "I suppose in extreme cases, or if the need called for it...I could very well just change and use my size to push the debris away, but would you have any need for it? Or is it all just trash now that needs to be taken -out- from the water itself?" Goodness he was rambling now. A blush comes to his face, making it even more red as he casts his sapphire eyes to the harbor water. "I apologize for my ramblings, I just like to know the basics for what is wanted. So...what do I do with the ruins, other than move them out of the way of course."

Vaar watched as Awne moved into the tent to take care of the people in need. He was glad to have her help here as his men sorely need it. His gaze returned towards Trishtar as he heard his voice. “Most of the trash has been cleared, but I could use your full form size to help remove busted up ships from beneath the water. All we need to worry about is getting all of it out for now. I have a team of men coming to dismantle it all and separate what is salvageable and what isn’t. Pulling these things out of the water by rope, gets tiring really fast." He kept his gaze upon Trishtar seeming to watch him for a moment. It wasn’t because he didn’t trust him. It was simply because he had never met him and he was curious to see how he would react. “When you go beneath the water you’ll see what I’m talking about. There is no way any decent sized ship will be able to enter until we clear it." He gave a nod towards the man as he spoke as seriousness still laced his voice. “And you can all call me Vaar, I’m not one for titles or being called sir. I would rather keep on a personal basis with my crew.” His voice stayed calm. “Trishtar I can meet you in the water here in just a few moments. I need to show Rilla the group of dwarves that she needs to keep a particular eye on. He turned his gaze towards Rilla as he stated “Right this way.” He planned to follow her over there to speak with her for a moment.

Rilla was certainly not usually the most patient of people, but with the facade of professionalism it was easy to stand and listen to the men speak. There was something telling the woman to wait another moment before figuring out who it was that she had to 'keep an eye on' as Vaar had put it. Absentmindedly her slender fingers ran along the hilt of the blade that in all truths didn't belong to her. The hollow area would have to be adjusted before she could use the soulstone around her neck with it. It was made for Kail. Once more her name had her attention, she'd zoned out just a bit this time around, it showed in her eyes. "Alright." The word came as a velvet breath in response to Vaar. Quiet footfalls had her ahead of the man, hips swaying in a less seductive manner than usual. Clearly it was simply the way the woman walked. The hand that rested on her blade was flexed now, just a habitual place to rest though it left her having to remind herself not to hold it too tightly. Some were very easily offended or threatened by a woman that held any sort of power over them. It was amusing, actually. The woman's right arm swung slightly as she walked, just within distance that Vaar could take it to stop her. It wasn't intentional; she didn't know how close the other would follow and of course Rilla had no idea where she was headed. She could only assume that it was in the direction the draconian had pointed her.

Awne 's unseeing eyes stay trained in the direction of the wall, not wanting to really scare anyone by looking at them but not really see them. With eyesight following magic she's able to see the progress of her healing from the best angle of all to ensure that no complications arise during the healing. The magic moves over the man's body to encase him from neck to thigh, she wasn't planning anything for the thigh but it was the best place to stop at the spine and check. Fully body healing was taxing and time consuming, however for this case the feline thought it to be best, slowly the magic moves through the tissue and muscle to the bones in the back along the spine. The damage was amazing, she wasn't quite sure how he had managed to live through the pain but one could only guess the goddess still had plans for him. At least he was in good hands now. The hand at his shoulder clenches slightly as she wraps the healing energy to the vertebrae, shifting them slowly back into alignment, while others…those that she could not salvage are encased in energy that turns red, the bone dissolving into the magic, and allowing an open space. It doesn't stay open for long, pulling from the blueprint inside the bones present the magic moves from the top and begins to make another, re-growing from the information present in the body to create replacement that would connect to the one below. This process is repeated for all the bones that she couldn't use, and only after all were in place did the next stage begin, wrapping over the spine and repairing the connecting tissue, strengthening the marrow and bone and moving outward to repair the muscle and tissue. The nerves were last, not wanting more pain to be added while she had been healing the mass section, are now reconnected to the spine and the information section to the brain, letting it see the parts that had been cut off from it as functioning again. One part down; one left.

Trishtar was already getting ready to dive into the water while Vaar was pointing Rilla in the right direction. Closing his eyes he quickly jumps into the harbor and allows himself to be totally submerged. As with any water dragon, he was very much at home here and oddly enough, this was the most water-time he had gotten in a very long time. A few harbour fish swim past him before he decides to look around before changing just yet. It didn't take long for him to understand what Vaar had been talking about. All these other sunken ships and parts of sunken ships surely would inhibit the passage of larger vessels. Cracking his neck once, he grins as he begins to change. All that could be seen above the water was a humanoid shadow that had started to change shape. His muscles started to bulge out as his skin took on a magnificent color of sapphire and ruby scales, his pink hair receding into his head and his face changing and elongating as his teeth grew longer and sharp. His wings however, grew back into his body and were not replaced. He wastes no time though, in using his head, quite literally. Gently pushing, he would first begin by loosening the wreckage from the sediment of the harbor.

Vaar gave another nod towards Trishtar as he began walking away with Rilla, once he had known the others were at work he simply moved closer to her. He definitely didn’t want her to feel like he had no interest, that was far from the truth. The problem was that duty was here and he couldn’t help but fall into his automatic way of thinking. He hoped that she would understand. His golden scaled hand moved towards hers only to grasp it within his own. “Rilla.” He stated calmly and quietly. His greenish hued eyes looking at her, it was good to have her here with him. Before she would even have the chance to react he pulled her inwards towards him, to embrace her. He knew that she wouldn’t be expecting it, by the way he had been reacting. His arms gently worked their way around her back. “I’m glad to see you..” His voice trailed off at the loss of words. He just wanted her to know that she was still on his mind. Before long he loosened his grasp around her and smiled. “I’m sorry I didn’t give you a better reaction when you showed up.” His voice was serious as he held his gaze within her crystalline blue eyes. “these are the dwarves that need you to run them. I know you're a drinker, just like me, but they are barely able to work. I just need you to inspire them a bit and get them moving.” He gave a slight nod towards her as he finished talking. Quickly he released her and turned towards the water of the harbor, while quickly removing pieces of armor. He didn’t feel like drowning. Upon reaching the water he dove in splashing into the salty liquid and he began looking for debris more his size.

Rilla turned rather abruptly when she felt the hand on her own, a smile trying to pull across her face, but that would break the facade she was putting on. It didn't quite make it past the little twitch of her mouth as she was pulled into Vaar's chest. At least he didn't make it hard to think like some people. Sometimes, words were completely lost as she looked at a mans eyes. Some were just so distractingly amazing, this man was different. He was good enough to use as a distraction. Only the strongest survived, Rilla knew very well. She would be the strongest even if it meant using distractions to keep it that way. It was odd to see the man mixing pleasure and duty, but it was sort of alluring. She gave the man a quick peck on the cheek before he would turn to swim, silence was easy. It kept her safe. Turning to the dwarves she surveyed them quietly, an air or seduction coming over that crystalline gaze. It stole the power and authority of those around her which was precisely why she did it. "Alright. I hear you all drink too much." Her voice came louder than before, an accent weaving through it to leave the velvety sounding like music. Rilla paced among the dwarves, looking them up and down individually. "So tell me, how many of you would like to get killed on the job?" Pausing a moment to ensure that she got just the right reaction from the men-no, they didn't want to die working. One slender hand reached out to brush something off one of the dwarf's shoulders, leaning into the short, broad man. "You, sir, need to be sober in order to prevent that from happening." Her breath was warm against his face and she watched as he leaned in to her, smelling the perfume of her skin. Patting the side of his bearded face Rilla took a step back and said louder, "That goes for -all- of you." The woman went back to pacing among them, forcing the workers into a rather organized line. That was an accomplishment. It seemed that now that the young woman had their attention she could get something through to them. Maybe even get them all working again.

Awne moves the healing attentions now to the chest of the male she worked on, the ribs would be a cinch compared to the spine. Pulling lightly on a few ribs to set them back into place, she wraps them in the healing to strengthen while those that were gone were re-grown as the ones in the back had been. Far simpler and less work, the time for this was faster. With the ribs repaired she looks over his form from the inside, healing minor things she thought might bring him pain before pulling the magic from him, the glow fading from hands and eyes as she smiles to him "Therre..lay still a while longerr and trry not to move too much yet." she instructs before moving from his side and back to the cauldron. Stirring the contents again she nods, it was ready. Lifting she pours the contents into the pitcher she had ready, waiting until the last drop was out before setting the pot down and taking up the pitcher. An easy heal was dehydration. Moving around the tent she fills the various cups with the concoction, instructing each person to take a few sips slowly then to wait before taking more. Setting the pitcher to the side she moves to the next patient in her list, the minor pains and aches.

Trishtar finally managed to loosen the piece that he had been working on. Using his tail now, he turns to wrap it around the wreckage and starts to swim forward as hard as he could before finally moving it out and away from the rest. Now...what to do with it. An idea occurs to him and he swims up to the surface and sees a nice clear area in the distance. A perfect place for the salvagers to do their work. Using all his physical strength, he whips his tail and tosses half of a ship over and lands it perfectly in the area before returning to the depths to repeat the process.

Vaar quickly swam towards debris and rubble that laid around a ship beneath the water. For a moment, he struggled against the current of the water as he pulled the rocks free from the sunken ship. One ship had already been cleared recently, but there still was plenty more work to do. Each rock was moved off to the side of the wreckage, making a pathway of sorts that would allow the ship to be pulled free. before long he felt it, a burning need within his lungs to get air. Without hesitation he swam back up to the surface an inhaled deeply. The fresh air felt good within his lungs as he quickly dove back under the water. This time he began tying ropes the ship, it was needed if they were going to muscle it out of there. Six ropes in all were tied to the ship before he was swimming towards the surface. Loudly he yelled out his orders to the men that were standing around waiting. “Take the ropes and pull that ship out of the water!”|| The men around quickly dove into the water to grab the ropes from him. Their bodies were already sore from a long day of work, but they were still more than eager to help. The men gathered together upon the docks chanting in unison as they pulled on the ropes together. Slowly but surely the ship moved towards the harbor and free of the water. It came to rest upon an open area within the docks. More salvageable materials could be pulled from this.

Awne moves around the room, broken fingers were set back into place and healed, though a splint was still set after just to ensure that the finger rested; Cuts were bandaged with salve, they would heal on their own and wouldn't hinder any work so there wasn't a pressing need for them to be healed by magic. Sallow skin and tired patients were given a firm lecture "I don't carre how badly you want that wall built orr this harrborr rrestorred, you look afterr yourr health as well. Do you think that Sirr Vaarr wishes all of you to end up in this tent day in and day out because you werre hurrt on the sight frrom dozing off? Orr skipping a meal because you wanted a few morre hourrs?" With her hands on her hips and her tail flicking about in agitation, she looked every bit an upset parent...with the features of a lioness that could rip you to shreds but a parent all the same. "Eat yourr meals, sleep at night, and take brreaks when you have to. You drrink waterr as much as possible do I make myself clearr?" she looks around the room at this point to ensure that they all had heard her, the brief nods were enough for her "Good." She nods and waves a few of her away "now go and sleep and get something to eat." She looks around "And morre waterr! I want you all to drrink thrree glasses tonight at least!" With that said the feline moves to the male she had worked on, helping him to sit up, "Move yourr rright leg...now the left...wiggle the fingerrs.." she was checking his functions to ensure that nothing had been missed.

Trishtar decides that for right now, the best thing to do is clear out what all had spilled out during that move. Taking his mouth, he scoops up some of the loose wreckage and moves to walk out from the water and over to the pile he had just started. He looked very odd on land, instead of claws and legs he had fins of a sort. Not like a dolphins fin or a fish fin, but thick paddle like fins. As he waddled back to the water, he imagined himself to be a seal which only made him laugh on the inside. He slips back into the water and repeats what he just did, until he clears out that pile. Next, he would move to another ship and start using his head again only to find it was already loose. Using his tail he wraps it around the wreckage once more and gives a tug.

Vaar went back beneath the salty sea water as soon as the men had grabbed the ropes from him. He thought about how hard those men had been working for him and what they were doing to themselves. He kept moving rubble around as best he could trying to free another ship while the men pulled the other one in. It was a good thing that ropes were easily found here in the harbor. Quickly he tied three ropes to this smaller ship and began swimming back to shore.|| Much to the same affect the men were already waiting for him and grabbed at the ropes and began pulling. Before long this ship was also pulled free from the water. The men around chanted and cheered as their harbor was beginning to become cleared out. It wouldn’t take much more than this to free the bigger items from the bottom of the ocean. Trishtar was able to pull the others out freely. Amidst all their shouting and cheering, a loud bell began ringing over the harbor signaling the end of every ones shift for the night. It had been a good day and four ships were cleared.
