RP:Redovian Paladin of Cyris joins the Champions of Kanos

Setting

Near Masbane 20th Sept 2011

A meeting on the road, between two who had been seeking each other.

Sophie said to Redovian, "I am told that you came to my shop looking for me when I was out, yesterday sir."

Redovian said to you, "I did, I've heard you wish a word with me."

Sophie smiles gently. "Indeed sir. I am told you are a brave and noble paladin in the service of the light? Is this true, Sir?"

Redovian said to you, "I have stood before the timelord to protect the innocent. I Defeated his wraiths, an obtained a cure. I am Redovian, Paladin of Cyris. I am but a man, but one of pure heart. Does this answer your question?"

Sophie is delighted to hear him confirm it "It does indeed sir. Thank you. This accursed land badly needs brave and good people to protect it. I am constantly terrified for the safety of my children, there is so much evil in the lands of late. Daily there is news of yet more terrible atrocities commited by the barbaric drow, speading like a rampant horrific disease through sage forest. The dark elves take great delight in brutally torturing, enslaving and murdering surface elves such as myself. Then there is Vuryal...." She breaks off. "Sir I wish to beg you please to consider joining my clan, the Champions of Kanos. We are all servants of the light, but there are too few skilled warriors in our number of late. Can you help us please sir?"

Redovian said to you, "If I can be of service to you, and those who are within your ranks, I shall be glad to join."

Sophie sighs with relief. "Forgive, me my new friend, you don't know how relieved I am to hear that. The ceremony to join is very simple you must simply swear to embrace the light and refrain from evil acts. If you will make such a vow to me here, I can add you to our ranks at once."

Redovian smirks. " I took such vows when I became a paladin. But, I am willing to do such here, with you."

Sophie smiles happily, "Redovian, Paladin of Cyris, do you swear to embrace the light and refrain from evil acts?"

Redovian said to you, "I do."

Sophie said to Redovian, "Then you are now a Champion of Kanos, with all the duties and priviledges thereof. I am sure that many of our members would be honoured to learn from a great, and noble man such as yourself sir. I am very happy to welcome you to our ranks."

Redovian said to you, "I thank you, and I hope to be a valued member."

Sophie said to Redovian, "There is blessed armor of Kanos (ooc + 10) for sale in the clan shop sir, and many free gifts that I have dropped there to help our members too."

Redovian said to you, "I thank you again, I must return to my training."
