RP:Planting The Seed

From HollowWiki

Summary: Meri, Chisel, and Alvina all happen upon each other on the Larket border, where Alvina and Meri are led to Chisel's new base of operations. They discuss the old ship in Chisel's possession and the possibility of restoring it to functional ship status for Meri. Alvina likes the challenge and Meri likes the idea of a free ship. Chisel seems a little perturbed that Callum had been offered the Royal Botanist position in Larket. Meri departs before the plans are finalized but Alvina promises to return with blueprints in tow.

Edge of Larket

This time around this encounter would not occur within that space within the forest that Chisel keeps all to herself (and a few select friends that have been gifted a map). Visiting Chisel down there again has not at all escaped Meri's mind, it's just that returning with Alvina was not nearly as easy a task as she thought. Today Meri and Chisel would cross paths by happenstance, these instances are bound happen for both women are prone to their travels. Of course Chisel tends to limit her own to travels to patrolling the forests while Meri herself just travels, sometimes with purpose and sometimes to try and sate the wanderlust in her soul. Meri is not alone in her travels, with her is a gray mare that Chisel has met once before. She had helped Meri to haul that creepy painting all the way into Larket! Also accompanying Meri is an adorable little fox, Meri calls him Gage. He is a middle-aged critter, but still full of playfulness and energy, if the way the little fox was darting between Kadence's hooves was any evidence. Time of day was mid-day and the particular stretch of forest that Meri is traveling is between Kelay and Larket, for she was leisurely making her way into Larket.

She would actually find Chisel walking through the forest, along with a couple of her flora colossi carrying... things. Is she moving? There is an annoyed looked on her face as she watched the creatures lumbered about and slowly walked toward the direction of the Ancient Forest, planning to close the gap caused by the town of Kelay quickly as the colossi never really liked stepping out of the forest. She groaned as she made a hand gesture as if trying to quicken the creature's pace but she knew herself that this is the creature's top speed. She eventually turned about and saw Meri but instead of happiness she just stared at her, emotionless. It was clear something has happened recently.

Though Kadence has encountered the colossi before, briefly and from a distance, she is still not comfortable with their presence which is made evidence by the few snorts she releases as she beady black eyes stare intently at them. Meri on the other hand is far more comfortable with them, if only because she recognizes that they are Chisel's companions and she has faith that her friendship with the murder-doll has not been tested or tainted making Meri safe from the wrath of the flora colossi. Ideally Meri will not be doing anything to change that, but this is Meri we are talking about. Intentional or not, one way or another Meri usually finds her way into trouble. Normally Chisel would be greeted in a chipper sort of fashion but the lack of happiness upon the marionatte's features causes Meri to tone that down and reel her reaction in. Instead Chisel is greeted with a polite nod and a bit of a frown, one stemmed from concern, "Is everything okay, Chisel? Why do you have those..." Okay if they had ever really established what it is what the flora colossi were called, Meri is drawing a blank on what they were referred to as in the past. "Why are they carrying all that stuff? Your stuff? Are you moving?"

Chisel stared for a few more seconds before finally placing her arms before her chest, shaking her head, sighing. There is no reason for her to hate a friend but the pain still seem to linger, she can't get herself to be jolly before the drunk artist. "If that is what you are calling it." She looked upon the lumbering giants as they moved ever so slowly, carrying various objects from her garden shed. Pots, Collection of vials and potions, various other things. She glanced at the creatures as if trying to get herself to 'appear' busy but in truth she doesn't know how to say it to the woman. Nonetheless, it would be rude to a friend if she ignores her now, she has nothing to do with it. "A mortal... Avian, I think they are called... tore down a tree within the sacred Ancient Forest. I was not there to stop him. It was already felled when I finally caught him." she stared motionlessly upon the forest as the being continues to walk before her. "I. I just think.. maybe I need a bit of air. Living amongst the citizens of Larket isn't making me any favors."

The death of an ancient tree is not something that Meri fully understands, she was not always the most in-tune with nature. However, it was something that was upsetting to Chisel so Meri was not going to be completely dismissive and obtuse. "Oh. I am sorry to hear that. Avains, the very tall creatures with wings? Did he happen to say why he was trying to destroy the tree?" Meri knew quite a few avians, she may even know the one that Chisel is currently displeased with, but no name has been put to this man as of yet. "So will you be staying out in the ancient forest full time then if you are not staying in Larket?" When she is not roaming with the intention of trying to keep her forests safe from bandits, that is.

Alvina had come to Larket with the goal of trying to catch Odhranos before he went off the the avian city. The two had business involving Schezerade. The path that would have carried her to the Mage’s house also intersects along the same path that holds Meri, Chisel, and her flora colossi. The bard is traveling on Mercedes, her spoiled winged mare, when Meri’s mount and Chisel come into view, the Colossi ambling along in between. The hood of her navy cloak flutters back, falling on her shoulders as she approaches to give them a clear view of her tempered expression. “Fancy seeing you two here.” Was her greeting, a careful smile that wilted around the edges as she examined their own expressions. “What’s wrong?” She asked, late to the party but intending to stop and converse. Odhranos could wait a few minutes at least right?

Eventually the line of Colossi went by, leaving the three alone to stand there in awkward silence. She turned and looked upon Alvina, she wanted to see her, she even asked Lady Meri here to find her for the dryad but clearly today wasn't exactly the most exciting moment for her. "Hello and good afternoon Miss Alvina, a surprise to see you here. I was hoping to see you once again after that work you did with my body." Though her voice somehow lack coherence, emotion. Clearly something was off. She looked toward Meri before she continues. "I was just talking to Lady Meri here about what happened few days back. A mortal. Avian. Went to the Ancient Forest and tore down a tree. Its very existence equates to thousands upon thousands of years and that man tore it down. He did say he wanted the tree to find a cure for some ailment. I have spoken to the tree and it allowed it. So I told the man to bring a druid to ease the pain. Instead he brought in a scythe and slaughtered the ancient one. I.. I was not there to stop him. So.. I'm here, moving. I might stay in the Ancient Forest for a bit while. Staying with the citizens of Larket is only making me remember. You do have your map. Yes?" she does that last bit as she looked toward Alvina. She did gave her a map, wondering if she kept it somewhere.

Meri's features do brighten at the sight of Alvina just a bit, greeting the familiar red-headed woman with a wave. It is not as chipper of a greeting as Alvina has earned from Meri during past encounters but that is because Chisel is having a bit of a rough day. Okay, perhaps that is a bit of an understatement. "Hey, Alvina." It is not that Meri did not have more to say, she would love to know how Alvina was. How the hubby was. The kids? The usual talk that two people would have when it has been a little bit since they have seen one another. Such would be rude to do in light of Chisel's predicament so the marionette is given a bulk of the spotlight. "Still have mine," Meri confirms regarding the map question, that that it was really geared toward her.

Alvina smiled at Meri’s greeting. She almost said hey again reflectively but thought better of it. Get yourself together Alvina! “I do! Just a second…” Her golden left arm juts deep into her weather worn satchel to pull the delicately folded parchment containing the aforementioned map on it. “Unless something’s changed, that is.” She grins, hoping her joy might be infectious. Not too broadly, but just enough. “I am sorry to hear that Chisel...I wish I knew why some were so careless with others.” Avians, Humans, Nagas...they all possessed the ability to be selfish but who was she to judge? Perhaps the cure was required immediately to save a life that stood on the brink and no druid could be found. She pictures an avian male, weepings as he tears through the trees tender fibers. She had a disposition that allowed her to empathize with most situations. However, what mattered most right now as cheering up Chisel. “You shouldn’t blame yourself. It’s impossible to stop every bad thing from happening...no matter how powerful or all seeing or knowing we are.” Which, in her case, was minimal on all counts. She had the all seeing eyes of a mother and that’s about where that ends. All knowing powers would have saved her a buckle or two of grief, that’s for sure. She’s gotten distracted down her own internal monologue about life and it’s choices and how the world is cruel. Alvina clears her throat, noticing the fox and smiling for it’s existence. Maybe life wasn’t so cruel after all.

Chisel moved her hand as if to ask the two to come with her, a walk through the forest is good. It always is. The rumbling as the giants moved through the forest eventually faded off in the distance as they already knew where to go. Chisel on the other hand have to entertain her guests and assist them traverse the thick forest which in turn slow her down. She turned to Alvina and said, "Oh yes, I remember. Wedding. I wanted to give you a gift to be honest but you never accepted your prize from when I gave you the map. That in mind, I am unaware of what you want. My own limited knowledge of gift-giving also didn't help. Same with the lack of idea of what items in my inventory is worth. I would not risk giving you useless junk." She moved her hand before the forest and the shrubs and branches moved away, allowing them to go through smoothly. Turning to Meri and said. "I was hoping to getting rid of more items. After that incident the other night, It made me think. What if some other person cut down the wrong tree and found my stash? They would go to any length to find it again. Risking the safety of my forest isn't really the thing I have in mind."

Gage was actually a very friendly little fox and once he notices Alvina's attentions were upon him, the little fox has to come over to say hello. "He was a gift, years ago, from Raphaline." Kadence a gift from Tristram, Meri is not usually inclined to take on caring and being responsible for some other living being on her own accord, it would seem. Chisel says something that practically brings dollar signs to Meri's eyes. She wants to get rid of all of her garbages? Of course that was not the only thing that Chisel had over there that had managed to catch Meri's attention. Living up to Chisel's nickname of 'drunk artist', that wine is something that Meri is fond of. But also, "Did you know she has a ship down there? Just sitting there, in the middle of the forest." Which still baffles Meri beyond understanding, ships are meant for the sea and not the air. There may be some bias, she might have a little bit of a fear of extreme heights/flying. No dragon riding for Meri.

Alvina watches as the forest bends to Chisel’s kind requests. It seems less like control and more like she’s using some secret plant sign language to communicate her whims. The bard has no idea how forest magic works and therefore does not even begin trying to pick it apart. When Gage approaches, little hearts practically appear in her eyes, as she reaches to let him sniff her hand. Ahhhhhh so cute! Once the fox moves safely away, Alvina’s mount continues beside the party at a healthy clip, so she’s able to speak with both woman without shouting. “I saw Raphaline not too long ago…” She comments, “At the beach in Cenril but...I don’t think I’ve seen her since. Said she was doing some travelling? I hope she’s well.” While Alvina isn’t overly familiar with her red haired counterpart / bardic sister, she is fond of her still. “No gift is required,” She tries again to persuade the scary yet polite woman, waving her hand to dismiss the notion. Chisel had sent her the map but Alvina didn’t feel like she had need for much. It wasn’t until Meri mentioned a ship that Alvina looked less charitable and more interested. “Like...an old air ship?” If there was a nerd alarm that could have buzzed, it would have been going BANANAS. Her eyes darting back and forth between the women, pupils dilated in excitement. Someone tell her it’s not an airship before her little bard heart explodes.

"Lady Meri here have been kind enough to assist me on cleaning it up a bit. But there is still much more there." she moved her hand once more before saying. "We are nearly there." the forest clears away a bit more. Turning toward Alvina and said, "I believe so, yes. I found it out there, out of fuel. It was abandoned. Everything that isn't nailed down has been stripped away, I had it guarded for two months and no one returned for it, so I took it and brought it home." turning her head back to the 'road' and soon finding themselves deep inside the Ancient Forest where her little stash lies. Somewhere in there are thick hedges and trees criss crossing each other creating a natural wall surrounding her little spot. "We are here." She moved her bare feet against the dirt, kicking off a bit of it till the broken stone path appears. Finally finding the front part, she extends her hand and wills the wall to move, exposing more of the beaten stone path leading inside. Within Chisel's Hoard is a beautiful simple garden. All around them are various rare flowers and plants that is being taken care by the woman. The Flora Colossi from before have been piling her items in a corner. On the center of all is a broken military structure, like a small castle or an outpost. Long abandoned and have most of its defensive walls missing. Around it were piles of 'junk'. Items segregated perfectly as they stood in piles a few feet from the other. Chests, Clothing, Weapons, Kitchenware, you name it. On top of it all, sitting above the broken outpost is a small airship, though a bit dirty, it is in near pristine condition, untouched and undamage since Chisel found it.

Oh they were supposed to tell Alvina no? This was not an airship? Well hopefully Alvina's heart does not explode from the excitement of it all for neither Meri nor Chisel are probably capable of assisting her with that. Unless CPR can fix an exploded heart? Meri thinks not. Somewhere along the way from point A to point B, Gage wanders away from the grouping. This is not something that seems to alarm Meri, the little fox has always been prone to coming and going as he pleases. He probably saw a rabbit he wanted to chase, yum yum. Kadence is left toward the entrance of the clearing while the trio makes their way closer and closer to the airship that Chisel has kept hidden for....well Meri does not even know how long this airship has been here. During the walk toward the airship, Meri is going to pull her usual routine of trying to claim some of those 'garbages' Chisel has collected as she espies the precious gems. "Yeah, I have no idea of what it would take to clean it up though. I was actually supposed to find you and drag you down here for an assessment. Mission...slightly accomplished?" It is more like Chisel AND Meri managed to catch a wild Alvina.

Alvina was waiting for someone to tell her but no one had so commence royal internal nerd freak out about this airship holy Sven. Everything has been stripped away? No big deal! It's the shell of the airship that's she's most interested in (okay well it would be cool to take apart it's engine to see how it worked BUT that was almost impossible considering airships had taken a hit in the last decade). The bard laughs at Meri's joke about her mission being accomplished and looks ahead as the trees continue to part to reveal the secret treasure stash in assorted piles. It would be so interesting to sit and pick apart the ancient or perhaps more recent items in each pile but now that there's talk of a ship; Alvina wants to see it post haste. "Would you be okay parting with it Chisel?" The bard anticipated she would but a ship was expensive and valuable and just all around COOL. It felt more like they should be doing something to cheer up the murder doll instead of taking something from her protected hoard. Maybe they should name it something fitting. After the ancient tree that was felled if it had a verbal name? Alvina would certainly discuss this possibility later. For now, her emerald gaze is trailing through the items and wanders just how long all this had been here and how long it would continue to stay under Chisel's careful and murderous watch. Has Alvina ever told her that she loved her? It felt appropriate after replacing someone's basically severed head on a body. The entire situation is hilarious and semi terrifying.

"I have no use of it." she simply said. "Though I have a thing in mind, such vessel is too small for it." She began to walk toward the broken outpost as she said, "You two enjoy yourselves. I'll just get something." With that she began to walk away but the forest around them began to move. Setting down a table and couple of chairs from a stash somewhere. Dusting them off and making sure that none of them have termites or dirt. Fruit soon came onto the table after a branch weave itself into a small bowl and fresh water from a nearby underground spring. The forest reverted back to the walls and trees they came from as soon as the table has been set. Chisel soon returns with a couple of bottles, liquor, something that Miss Meri might enjoy. "Lumber would be provided ofcourse, I have a couple... 'reclaimed' lumber from an illegal wood farm couple weeks back which you can use. I doubt that its engines would work however, it has been a while since it was used and corrosion have claimed a bit of it. If you need a servant, I can assign one of the Flora to you." she smiles as she approached the two again. "You have your map, you can return here whenever you like.... Just don't bring anyone else I don't know ofcourse." looking at Meri as she says so. "Drinks?" placing it by the table and said, "I could have some meat slaughtered if you want. Not all animals are gentle to nature you know. I have a couple of boars caged here somewhere, they were destroying plant fields just because they are bored."

Why Chisel has disappeared temporarily is no mystery to Meri, she has been to this area a couple of times now and was familiar with the fact that the marionette was a surprisingly good hostess. Chair, fruit, beverages, Meri knew all of these things were about to be provided and so she looks upon the airship, gaze pulled away once the forest begins to move and deliver some of these luxury items. Meri makes herself comfortable without delay and Chisel is appearing barely a beat afterward. The look that lands upon her does not escape her attention, and Meri meets it with a slight lift of her brow. "I don't intend to, we've talked about this a couple of times already. I understand, I promise." The subject moves right along, with Meri helping herself to a glass of the liquor that Chisel has brought and some of the fruit. The logistics of the repair are ultimately up to Alvina, she was the engineer and Meri was not. Food is something that Meri does know and understand though, "Cal would be probably not be pleased with me if I came home with a spoiled appetite. He does usually cook for us." Sometimes take-out happens. "I'll stick with the delicious fruits and a bit of the booze."

Alvina stops and waits, watching as this small table and chairs are placed down and the forest around them moves to provide fresh fruit and water. Ah yes, it's coming back to her. When she'd run into Chisel in the forest even though she didn't have a functioning body, she still offered Alvina tea or something to eat. So proper and polite. She waits anxiously until the forest moves back in around them, uncertain if she'd be interrupting some part of the process. Her attention is drawn back to Chisel as she reappears and offers the possibilities of a feast. She's quick to wave her hands to dispel the offer. "Oh no no, I'm all right but thank you truly for asking." She smiles, finding this encounter a lot less...creepy than the less time. Pleasurable even in it's quirky humanity. "I'm happy to take a look and let you know what it needs... The biggest problem might be actually getting it to water." The bard refuses the assistance of servant. "Maybe if I can't lift it or need to set it up a different way to work on it. Meri -" Crimson curls swivel while her emerald gaze falls on her. "-Would you able to make use of the ship if we could fix it up and get it to sea? Chisel -" She turns back to face the marionette "-Would that be all right with you?" Alvina drinks some of the water, waving off offers of fruit or alcohol. She still had to catch up with Odhranos at some point today!

Chisel stares upon Alvina for a couple of seconds, clearly seeing the ship made her a bit... talkative, within those few seconds she was able to spout four sentences and yet when she met her before she was too shy to speak. Still, the woman is curious as ever. She looked toward Meri. "Cal... you mean Callum? From Larket?" she wasn't sure if that is who they are talking about to be honest. Sitting down as she worked on making some fruit juice, a bit of freshly cut up fruit mixed with the cool spring water would eventually make some refreshments for her to serve the two. She ofcourse had to take every seed and inedibles so she can plant it somewhere. On the basket she prepared, were fruits and vegetables, though she highly doubt people would straight up consume vegetables, that's why she offered cooking. Turning to Alvina she said, "I could.. probably have a couple of my colossi to carry it. But I don't think they would be welcome inside Cenril.

"It would be fairly tricky getting it to water, because yeah...I am not so sure how Cenril would feel about the colossi traveling through it..." A glance is spared toward Alvina, as if deferring to the expert upon this subject. "I don't think I have the capabilities of moving something that size for an extended period of time and I don't know too many others like me to make it a team effort." As if explaining what she means by this statement, a whole pear that Chisel has provided for her guests lifts up and out of the dish, gliding smoothly into the palm of Meri's hand. A small bite is taken as a wink is given to Alvina and Chisel and then Meri continues on, "If we could get the thing to the ocean I bet I could think up plenty of uses for the thing...Provided that all of this is even agreeable with Chisel." Which it sounded like it was, so far as Meri could tell. As she speaks Chisel's name those baby blues slide over to the marionette, circling back to the being's first question and bobbing her head in a nod. "Yes, Cal. From Larket. I know you're not his biggest fan but he is my guy so..." Meri is probably going to end up bringing him up again at some point or another. The psionically inclined woman shrugs in a defeated sort of manner.

Alvina was listening, really, but her mind was always whirling. She always looked like this when she was considering a project, like there was an invisible blue print behind the glass of her eyes that only she could see. Her pupils dart in various directions while her face adopts a thoughtful expression. "No we can't do that..." she mutters, in reply to strutting the ship through Cenril...but how would they move it? She breaks her concentration to watch the pear float over to Meri's hand and a broad smile spreads over her face. What! Her friends were so impressive! She beams at both Chisel and Meri while they discuss this Cal that Alvina has heard literally nothing about. She gives Meri a mischievous grin, like she's about to burst out into some school house rendition of 'Meri and Cal, sitting in a tree...' but she doesn't. "ooooooo my," is what she says instead, waggling her eyebrows at her. "I'm going to need to hear all about that. As for getting it into Cenril, I might know someone who could help us get 'approval' to move it through." Her husband had some connections to the political scene there among other things like body guards. "We may have to sneak it in at night...But we can work on that once we get the ship repaired. I feel like I still would owe you something for this Chisel..."

"Owe me what? I want it gone. Besides, the body you have made for me is still of good shape, though not as combat oriented as I have hoped for, my first body wasn't either so there isn't much of a complain." she smiles at the woman as she spoke to herself, deep with her thought. Turning to Meri and said, "And people say I am the crazy one." can't help but tease the architect as she reply to Meri. "Yes, not the biggest fan. I challenged him to make a tea plant for me.. he never returned. Then few weeks later I hear he is Larket's new go to when it comes to plants. A bit weird especially that I am a dryad and yet I didn't get the position... It was never offered to me to begin with. Only people crazy as you two tend to be brave enough to talk to me really." Turning to Alvina before saying, "Stealth is never been in my list of skills. Besides... numerous giants carrying a ship through the streets of Cenril would be spotted no matter the time of day."

Meri suddenly feels rather uncomfortable, and once again definitely less inclined to discuss Cal in front of current company. That seems to be just Alvina's luck, every time they sit down and have a moment where they could potentially share a moment of gossip -- Meri feels forced to clam right up. A frown is extended to Chisel first and foremost but it softens as it shifts to Alvina. "Ah, well. On that note, I guess I should probably be going. I mean like I said, Cal is probably at home waiting for me. Probably with dinner, so...I will leave you two fine ladies to discuss the plans of the ship." Up from her chair Meri goes, trying her best to force a smile to her lips but it doesn't really linger. "I don't know too much about his failure to meet with you to deliver tea, what I do know is that when I have mentioned bringing him here...You've never expressed any amount of want to meet with him prior to now. I believe when I first established that we both knew the guy, you said that you knew him but that didn't mean that you liked him. And that was before he was hires as the botanist. When he was just an herbalist based out of Kelay. It also seems like you are blaming him for taking a job that was offered to him, you don't need gold...He does. And who tells the Queen no...?" Meri sighs, "I hope you have a change of heart one day." Her gaze transfers to Alvina, "It was nice seeing you." And to the both of them, "I will show myself out." And on the way out? Well Meri felt rather weird about taking any garbages from Chisel, they're dropped during her exit of this space. Back through the forest she would ultimately go, returning to Larket.

Alvina is silent through this exchange between Chisel and Meri about Cal. She hasn't had the opportunity to meet this man but she meant what she said. If it was someone special in Meri's life and Meri wasn't highly embarrassed to introduce them, she'd like to meet him! She's ignorant about Larket jobs (most of her work takes place in Frostmaw, beyond the witch detector she built for the Royal Cause. That's a whole different discussion...) and didn't know Chisel even wanted a title like that. "I could always make a more battle appropriate body. With thicker grooves to allow smoother motions.." She adds, just as Meri stands to go. She'll hug the woman, make her promise to write soon in the way friends often do before waving her out into the forest to vanish from sight. Once Meri is gone, the bard will turn to Chisel with a soft smile. "To be fair, you scared the hell out of me when we met." It's said with affection, because who can go through the process of meeting a woman like Chisel without a little fright and fun. It wasn't bravery that brought them together, but circumstance. Life was funny that way. "We can figure out something to do with the ship later. First we need to fix it up, and for that, I'm your gal." Granted, the whole point of fixing the ship wasn't for Chisel but Meri and maybe Alvina (just to see if she could). There's nothing like a project to take your mind off things.

Chisel simply turned her head as she watched Meri walked out. Not a single word or an expression to her face before turning back to Alvina, listening till finally Meri was out of the area "I never wanted the title.. or the gold... simply curious how a mortal got job when someone else is more qualified... Mortal interactions are pretty difficult to mimic. She was upset about something I have said, Problem is.. How exactly am I going to appologize to something that I have no idea that was wrong?" she picks up her cup and takes a sip, simply dropping the subject entirely right there and there. "A leap of faith. Either you lose something or get something entirely unexpected. Though they say that there is a thin line between courage and recklessness." listening to her as she began talking about the new body. "Anything you build would be amazing, I'm sure." she smiles and looked upon the corner of the broken outpost. "I am not sure if that is enough wood though, feel free to ask me anything should you need more resources. You may also use anything that is within this secluded abode of mine to repair the ship. Again, you are welcome to come here anytime you like."

Alvina had the feeling something was lost in translation here. It sounded, from the outside, Like Chisel and Callum didn't get along or perhaps maybe Meri thought Callum was qualified and might have felt insulted on his behalf when Chisel mentioned it in that manner. She rubs the back of her neck, pushing away crimson curls, to chuckle idly with no real amusement behind it. "Maybe a broad apology would work best?" She offers. "Something like, 'I'm sorry if I've upset you.' and then she's likely to tell you what you said but I think she's just trying to defend this guy's skills." Shot in the dark, Alvina was sometimes bad at reading people too. She hadn't seen Meri express very many emotions at this juncture so she can't tell if it's minor annoyance or actual offense. Hopefully, they would work it out in time. The subject swings back around to the ship and Alvina's smile partially returns. "It'll all depend on the shape it's in...and I'll be sure to stop by and say hello if I can find you while I work on it. Since it seems you've moved here, for now." Maybe she'd do just that. Build another body as thanks for the ship. Maybe then they would be even. It felt too much of an expense, even though Alvina would be doing repair work, to trade one for the other. "I'll look it over, draw up some blueprints, and see if we can't restore it back to it's 'almost' former glory." Her eyes dart overhead wistfully. Oh how she missed airships.
