As you stand here, towers of bookshelves completely surround you. Most of them look to be magical in nature, but there are books of more mundane subjects in the library. Some are for spell research, some are about the history of spell casting and magic, while others are just lists of spell uses and objects. The cases are of a dark oak or pine, and glow a little at the ends, where runes have been placed to protect these sources of information from aging and decay. There are tables all over the room, with people of quite a few races sitting and studying. You notice a small door behind the rows of shelves to the north, and as someone opens and enters the room you see that it is the dormitory for those who stay here and study. To the east are two massive doors with designs carved into them, a golden dragon on each door.

Vasha sits at a table, the surface covered with open tombs, but one very large book seems to have caught her undivided attention. Long, sable hair hides her profile from any who would enter the place and her plain gown has seen better days if one to look closer

Saren strolled into the library with a particular book on his mind, the mage he'd spoke to outside said that the ranger could find the book on the languages used by certain forest dwellers such as the elves. Letting his emerald gaze move over the various tomes the male wondered how he'd ever find it in such a place, it was quite large due to the owner of this tower's thirst for knowledge. Sighing as he moved a finger up to move the raven lock of hair that had become particularily stubborn as of late, he soon turned about to see the only other person who had decided to spend their day in library. Walking towards the brunette he quickly discovered she was human before he addressed her. "Excuse me miss, do you happen to work here, or at the very least where the section on languages might be?" Saren's tone was kept polite as she seemed nice enough, not to mention he needed her help.

Vasha looks up at the sound of the mans voice, her eyes slightly dazed for a few seconds as his words sink in. Pushing curling locks of hair from her face she smiles and waves an ink stained hand to the bookcase to her left she replies, "I believe the books your looking for might be there. I myself am still learning my way around this place." leaning back into her chair Vasha pulls back her sleeves to her elbows revealing black runic tattoo's starting on the backs of her hands and travel up her arms to disapear under her sleeves. "My name is Vasha sir and it is a pleasure to meet you." she says in a soft voice.

Saren smiled as he noted that she must have been around these books quite a bit to get ink stains from them, looking down the ranger noted her tattoos as he offered his hand to her. "It's nice to meet you as well Vasha, would I be too intrusive if I asked where you got such markings?"

Vasha firmly takes Sarens hand in her own and gives it a firm shake as her gaze moves to look at her tattoo's, "I actually did them myself. I am a mage and I specialize in runic tattoo's. I'm studying how to add magic to them to give the bearer special protections and powers." Taking a deep breath she lets it all out in one heartfelt gush, "So far I haven't been able to find much out about the art in any of these books."

Saren nodded in understanding. "Well of course not." The ranger chuckled. "Your looking in a civilized library, the teaching you want is usually handed down among more tribal folks. I'd try there if you wanted to know more." Smiling as he examined them a bit closer he soon lightly touched her wrist using his index finger. "Do they bear a specific meaning?" His mind had leaped a bit as he tried to look deeper into them.

Vasha chuckles and shakes her head resulting in her hair falling back into her eye's, dashing it back with a impatience gesture she sighs again, "Great...those groups almost never give away there secrets to outsiders. I guess I'll have to experiment on my own then." Running one slender finger over the back of her hand her gaze takes on a faraway look as Vasha remembers the day she gave herself the tattoo's Saren asked about, "They have a deeply person meaning to me, but they have no special powers except to remind me of the past."

Saren chuckled as he thought for a moment. "I might be able to get you a scroll on the subject, I have a few friends who still live in the tribal way." Placing his hands within his pockets he looked to the left as he heard a book fall.

Vasha turns quickly to look at the book that fell and notices a soft, blue glow surrounding it. Curious she rises and walks over to puck it up. Reading the title on the spine her face brightens and a smile breaks out on her lips. Raising her eye's to Sarens she laughs happy at her find, "I think someone might be helping me for this book is about just what I've been looking for." A slight frown marrs her face, "I wonder who that person might be and what they might want though."

Saren blinked at the stroke of luck she just had. "Well now... that's a bit strange, how much do you think you'd charge should you get the tattoo's enchanted?" Secretly the male believed someone was in the room with them but he let that suspicion fade as he saw the excitement on her face.

Vasha taps one finger on her crimson hued lips as she thinks about it. Coming to a decision she replies, "I figure about five gold for now. Once I can make them alot stronger then I'll charge more." Saren thought for a moment as several shadows moved about the room, the hallucinations of the male seemed to be happening frequently as of late. Ignoring them he focused purely on Vasha. "Speaking of making them stronger would you be able to enhance the ones you've already done at a later date?"

Vasha looks thoughtful for a minute before answering, "I don't see why not." Glancing down shyly she murmers, "I haven't reached master status yet as a mage, but I'm not far from it." Looking Saren's form over she wonders what and where he'd want his tattoo's, "What exactly would you want?" Saren smiled as he slowly pulled the sleeve on his arms up, sliding his finger on the underside of his wrist he showed her the placement of the two tattoo's. "I'm sure you know the tribal styles of body art correct?" You arches one dark brow ironically then rolls her blue hued orbs, "I think I can manage it." Saren would've normally taken offense to such a reaction but no matter... He required her services just as much as she required his payment, the shadows were always telling him otherwise but they wouldn't win out. "Good to hear, just what can you make them do?" Regeneration is what he sought the most as this world wasn't known for being safe, an edge against future opponents would always be welcome.

Vasha sighed as she leaned up against the table she had been sitting at earlier and crossed her slender arms over her chest, "Right now all I can do is offer the wearer some slight protections from magical spells cast at them. More will come later as I work the spells out." Pushing away from the table Vasha picks up her bag and the book she had found and heads towards the door. Casting her gaze over her shapely shoulder she says, "I shall send you a message as soon as I am ready to give you the tattoo. Should only be a few days" A far off look enters the young mages orbs and her voice is soft, "I must go now....I have a meeting I can't miss." With that Vasha pushes open the door and steps out into the night.

Saren merely kept himself calm as the possibilities of magical protection flashed through his mind. "Perhaps we can make an arrangement, but it will have to be done later. I've pressing matters that I must attend to." Turning to walk away the male pulled his hood back over his head as he disappeared through the doorway.
