RP:Kain Talks With Awne

This small path breaks out from the sparse trees and becomes an open area on this cliff. People come from all over Hollow to look off of this edge and the view is amazing. As you stand you become slightly dizzy from the great height. Such a sight your deprived eyes have never seen before. As you walk toward the edge of the cliff, you notice small signs of a great battle, an array of booted footprints here a spot of blood there. Stepping to the edge of the cliff, a great slab of stone has been ripped free of the ground, and where it had been, there is nothing but a hole in the earth sloping ever downward to the edge. Creeping out over the edge you can see a heap of shattered rocks and piled up earth at the bottom. Something powerful had devestated this rocky cliff face. tearing your eyes away from this destruction, you can gaze over the most of the land. Towards the south you can see the mountain path you've once traveled. So small it looks from here, yet your legs can tell you differently. To the east you can see a great forest of trees, obviously being Sage Forest, with the little town of Kelay deep within. Beyond the edge of Sage Forest you can see the mountains to the north, although the path to the small town of Larket is not visible from this vantage point. At the very edge of the horizon you can just make out the beginning of Milious Planes, and beyond that you know is the great city of Cenril. You take in the wondrous view and wonder what this place must look like at night under the canopy of stars, lights glowing from the towns below and east of here. To the west is where you came, a mountain path. A small cliff in the area seems to lead up to a hill.

Kain nods as he sees Awne. "Ello again. I been thinkin' over me options, 'n managed ta limit it down ta me top three choices. Either I'll be joinin' the Temple, Champions 'o Kanos, 'r Providence. Ye asked me b'fore fer another meetin', someplace a bit more private. This seems a good time 'n place." Kain eases off his massive pack and sighs. Sitting down, he pulls out a bottle of ale, and some dried meat to munch on.

Awne looks up from her seat upon the ground, cloak and robe around her in a circle. She looks up to the male with a smile "Hello again to you as well, and yes.this seems the best place." She shifts her seat to better look to him "I would like to know again, what is it that you wish forr in a clan to join?"

Kain said to Awne, "Well, security fer me family be important ta me. Me sister Sammi be tryin' ta recover from havin' 'er tail 'n arms cut off 'n poisoned. Also, Ramsi been ill 'n battered a bit from 'er mental link with the bug. Dawn be pregnant again, 'n Violet only be a few months old. Aye, security fer me family be important ta me. *shrugs* Though each 'o the three I mentioned all be in different clans. *chuckles* Me adopted family be quite 'n odd bunch. Beyond that, I'm not real sure what all the clans be offerin' ta be truthful."

Awne blinks in surprise "Miss Rramsi is a student of mine..she has not been to call forr lesons but I hd offerred.." She hums faintly "what else is imporrtant to you? A family within a family is always a good choice, at least therre you will be taken carre of as a full family."

Kain said to Awne, "Ah, Ramsi's been in ill health. She left fer Rynvale yesterday, hopin' ta keep 'er distance from the bug. As fer me, I've been busy at me forge these past few days. T'ween craftin' Swords 'n armor fer 500 troops, 'n makin' sure Sammi be gittin' food 'n milk... *sigh* But Rawnie did agree ta sell me the antidote fer 50,000 gold. So after that, Sammi kin be treated by magical healin' again. I'd also like the bug killed, 'n that despicable Helich as well. Past that, it just be me family 'n buisness that be really important ta me right now."

Awne nods her head "When miss Sammi is able to be healed, I would be honorred to rregrrow herr limbs and heal herr wounds." She offers a smile. "Ourr clan is small...but it is my intention to make this a family within one. my husband and daughterr arre parrt of it, I wish nothing morre tha to brring a family clan to hollow." she smiles "if this is appealing to you, I would welcome you to it, and do all I could to have yourr family be taken carre of within ourrs."

Kain nods with a smile. "I be appreciatin' that. Would ye actually be able ta grow new arms fer 'er? We was thinkin' artificial, but..." Kain strokes his beard thoughtfully. "Real ones would certainly be better, if that be possible."

Dawn appears from the west.

Kain nods to Dawn as she passes through.

Awne nods her head "it's painful..and it takes time and enerrgy but yes." She chuckles lightly "even if she wished forr new ones my birrd-sisterr might be willing to make herr new ones."

Dawn smiles then heads away.

Dawn exits north.

Kain said to Awne, "This be me sister Dawn, 'n little Violet. I dunno if ye've met."

Awne shakes her head "no we haven't, a pleasurre though."

Kain said to Awne, "Well, considerin' the pain Sammi's been through already, this be pain I be thinkin' she be willin' ta bear. I be rather certain that Rawnie not be willin' ta ever give up the ones she cut off, so tryin' ta reattach the originals be outta the question. Still, either artificial, 'r regrowin' new ones, we'll all be happy when she kin drink 'n eat by 'erself again."

Awne chuckles lightly "Then when she is rready let me know and I will do all I can." She nods her head to him "as forr clan buisness I will not preasurre you to choose us, and will happily wait forr a choice to be made. Even if it should not be with us, I would be happy that you find one that suits you best."

Kain nods. "Aye. There were some others, like the Fold, 'n Phantasmal Knights I were thinkin' bout, but somehow just didn't quite make the grade. Now ta talk with someone from Champions 'o Kanos again, refresh meself on why it be in me top three." He chuckles. "I'll be sure ta tell Ramsi that ye asked about 'er, 'n Sammi that ye kin regrow 'er tail 'n arms. Oh... ye mentioned bird sister. I be thinkin' ye mean 'n avian. Kin I ask who that be, 'n if she be part 'o yer clan?"

Awne nods her head "Herr name is Cerrinii, she is not but ...she is avian kind, they seem to flock with theirr own as it is." She chuckles softly "but she lives with me in my home, she is verry much family."

Kain nods. "Cerinii... name sounds familiar, but I'm not sure if i've met 'er or not. Still. Thank ye fer yer time, 'n if ye be needin' any metalwork done, 'r money fer yer services 'n helpin me sister recover, all ye need do be ask, 'n I'll be happy ta oblige."

Awne chuckles as she stands "nay, I do not charrge forr my serrvices." She dusts off her and cloak and smiles again "I wish you the best though, and to call on me when everr you have need."

Kain smiles brightly at that, "Much appreciated indeed." Finishing his meal, he rose, then put on his massive pack again. "One 'o these days I'll have ta git meself 'n enchanted pack, that kin hold all this stuff in a regular sized backpack," he chuckles. "Fare thee well, m'lady."

Awne chuckles and pats her bag "it's what I use." she chuckles again and waves to him "farre well to you as well good sirr."
