RP:Joan's Self Study

From HollowWiki

This is a Necromancer's Guild RP.

Joan entered the dimly lit reading room with her book held in the crook of her elbow, a jar of pickles in her hand and the skeleton remains of the mouse she had managed to animate, the woman takes the first empty table she can find, placing down first the remains of the mouse, next her pickle jar then her book. She arranges the bones in the correct positions before she opens up her student book. Her voided gaze skims over what is written, her index finger traces under each word of the introduction in the first few pages, her lips mouth the words to herself as she pages through to the very first chapter. Here she pauses to open up her pickle jar, her fingers dip into the juice of the jar, fishing for one of those baby dill pickles. Grasping on to one between thumb and index finger she lifts it out just a bit to shake off some of the brill before she partakes with a quite solid munch. Her eyes never leaving the pages she scans, once the pickle is finished she’d lick at her fingers before turning her gaze from the open book to the arranged skeleton. “Okay...let’s try this again.” She mutters to herself. The vampire takes a couple of steps back away from the table as she now folds and cracks out her fingers, feeling the knuckles snap and pop with the motion Joan also rolls her neck side to side, loosing up. Shaking out her hands the vampire pins her voided gaze upon the bones. She speaks the first lines of the written incantation, sparks of color jump off from the very tips of her fingers as she channels her magical energy at the bones. Wisp of that energy and magic envolpe each and very tiny bone. It is visible that lines of colored magic connect each bone properly, this excites the woman as she moves on to chant out the next few lines in a slow even tone. Now, empowered with her beginning Necromancer magic Joan continues to power a slow amount into the next harder part. Glowing brighter, veins and muscle tissue start to form from where the heart should be located, this was hard work...never had she been able to get tissue to form, and as it did the vampire merchant’s eyes widen, had she a beating heart, it would mostly be thumping hard with excitement.

Joan :: Chewing at the inside of her lower lip her constant gaze never left the mouse as it continued to knit together organs now. From memory, Joan slowly increases the amount of magic and energy she is directing into her tiny little project. Slow and steady won the race, people say. And here she was, focusing on knitting on the next level; Skin!

Very so slowly she chants out the next line, power flares out from the corner of each eye, setting her shadow aglow as her hands move to come together in a cupping motion over the mouse. Feeling herself waver just a tiny bit Joan exhales as she focuses on ending up knitting the last bit of skin of the tiny mouse. Little shiny black eyes stare up her as the undead mouse appears before her naked. With a shaky breath, Joan finishes the incantation by clasping her hands around her undead little mouse. As it squeaks in a muffled manner in her gasp the vampire slums forward as she drains the remaining bits of energy and magic into the animal. Hopefully completed with a decent presentable furless zombie mouse!
