Induction Into The Coalition

Location: Coalition Outpost

  • Vashja – Hydrophiinae Naga, Spaciomatic Healer
  • Kwen – Elapidae Naga, Cryomancer

Kwen emerges through the tent which he had slept the majority of the day in. The long day that occured yesterday evening had tired his mucels and figure in which effected his sleep. Kwen examined the area to see drills and tools resting from -their- hard days work. The stinch of dirt and oil lingered into his nostrils; a fine crinkle developed on his nose. The cryomancers tail coiled around the shaft, perhaps awaiting greetings of an unknown, or someone he might have met prior.

Vashja looks around in curiosity. She had heard that the Coalition had a huge base of operations but this was more than she could have expected.

Kwen looked at the female naga in which he;s been attracted to since the first time he saw her. The feelings churred through him was resisted, perhaps the female wanted to join the Coalition? Kwen slithered toward Vashja's way, to ask her the simple question. "Here for the Coalition?" Gesturing toward the mining and digging devices he stated, "You can see we are hard working characters." The cryomancer wasn't sure whether the female had visited the area -because- of the application's toward the clan or she was just wandering around.

Vashja grins at the other naga. "Nice to see you again Kwen." Since he was clearly smitten with her she decided to gauge his sense of humor. "No sir. I was planning on enslaving all of your members and forcing them to build me an eel-birthing facility. I've found that my favorite food is sadly scarce in this area. " She puts on her sweetest smile for him.

Kwen chuckled at the response presented, although the conversation was to sound proffesional in his prospected; that would be dismissed. Kwen examined the female to determine whether she was correct for the Coaltion which he had been thinking of for the first time he had saw her. Naga's were -always- the hard working type, thus him agreeing toward his internal conflict. "Would you 'like' to join? If so, We have already determined you were aloud if you wish?"

Vashja was pleased that he didn't take her joke seriously, so many people here did. Yet at his offer to join his clan she was briefly shocked. The man hardly knew her... had she been the murderous type this would have been too easy. Yet perhaps he was just a very good judge of character. "Well... I must say the coalition has peaked my interest, yet I would like to have some more information before 'signing up' for an organization." She smiled, hoping that he would understand her concerns.

Kwen said to you, "The Aphelion Coalition is structed by hard-working, logic-thinking, beings. Morvious Van Kalia is the creater of the group, but no leaders are appointed; unlike other clans." Vashja said to Kwen, "That's good. I hate taking orders." *she chuckles* "Well what do you all work on? Goals and what-not?""

Kwen said to you, "You can see her we dug tell dawn last night." Gestering toward the mining equipment. "It would be very intereseting with another naga joining our clan. SO far, it looks like it's just me; unless you join."

Vashja raises a confused eyebrow. "But what are you digging FOR?" She hoped they were digging for some interesting reason... it would be nice to have a group who could look out for her while she was getting aquainted with this land and hopefully apprenticing in the mage guild. The fellow naga was an added bonus.

Kwen said to you, "That is confedential, until; you actually cvonfirm you would like to join." Vashja laughs openly. "Wait so I'm supposed to join a group that I have no idea what it was formed for?" She eyes Muraski as he enters and hopes she didn't offend anyone too much. Yes, it may be beneficial for her to join a clan, but she wasn't stupid.

Kwen sighed. "AN underground cavern was disgovered yesterday. Follow please.

Unexplored Cavern

You grinned. Now she was interested. "Thank you for understanding dear."

Kwen said to you, "If you are interseted, follow me to The Gathering."

The Gathering of the Aphelion Coalition

Vashja blinks in confusion. "Do I get to know what we do here yet?"

Kwen said to you, "And Yes, the things that we do here is, we explore. Currently we are exploring to find a new land, The Shadow Enclave. If you would like more information, you would need to speak with Morvious. I am a bit vague on the idea. "

Muraski said to you, "We're treasure hunters.. In the most basic form of the words. Anything the snake says, is half-ass.. If you want a clear explanation, ask the man of Vhys, he can give you a more definite opinion. "

Vashja beams, now fully interested. "Excellent" Looking around at the headquarters she is completely in awe. Never having been in such a large and beautiful building, she doesn't know where to go first. So she merely stands there letting her eyes soak everything up.

Kwen said to Muraski, "Look, vampire. I was ordered to show her around, that is what -I- am going to do. Now if you don't mind, I will be attending my three hard-working slaves. "

Muraski said to Kwen, "I do mind, actually. As you see, snake, I am here to instruct her about what this place is about. You go ahead and give her the grand tour, i'll explain it. I wouldn't want your simpleton mind to ruin her first impression.. "

Kwen said to Muraski, "Before, you got here. I already told her to speak with Morvious; so if you would wish to explain it then go ahead. Snake, no. Kwen, yes." Turning his attention to Vashja, "Welcome to the Coalition."

Vashja snickers at Muraski's comment. "Now now boys, there's plenty of me to go around." She laughs again and slithers in between them. "Peace and love. Think of puppies or something guys."

Kwen exits up.

Vashja blinks in confusion as Kwen exits. "Guess you guys don't get along..."

Muraski rolled his eyes, "Peace isn't something I'm a fan of. Us Cenrili's grow uneasy during peace."

Vashja smiles at the vampire. "I could tell by your duel earlier. I happened to catch you tearing that human a new one. Nicely done." She extends a hand to Muraski. "I am High Priestess Vashja, but you may drop the title if you wish."

Muraski grinned widely, normally not accepting a naga's hand this one was quickly grasped to keep Kwen waiting longer. "Muraski LeskoVac, Merchant of Cenril. It's a pleasure, priestess."

Vashja bows politely, “The pleasure is all mine. Its wonderful to come across someone with such manners.” Her coral ring briefly glows a pale pink and her tail transforms into a pair of human legs clad in a colorful skirt with suede boots on her feet. “Wouldn’t want to scuff the floors.” She winks.

Muraski blinked as she transformed. A quick tilt of the hat made once his senses were recovered and his hand to release hers, "It's always a pleasure for me, to meet a beautiful female. Even if they aren't of the same species, beauty can always be appreciated."

Vashja blushes slightly, never having been called beautiful by a non-naga. “Well thank you!” Despite looking like a human he didn’t smell like one… “May I ask what species you are? Your smell is familiar but I can’t place it.” She hoped that she wasn’t being too blunt, but it had never stopped her before. Taking in more scent with her powerful nostrils she remembered back to a party that she had attended in Vailkrin for a woman who was leaving… and of the man Morvious who she had met.

Muraski nodded at her question, "Don't thank me, love, I'm not the one displaying such a fine figure." He then blinked at the bluntness of the next question and noticed her sniffing. A brief thought would be had before finally he added, "I am a human, though a little different. I changed to preserve my life span though what I changed into is not who I am." Vague, very vague and very Muraski.

Vashja wrinkles her forehead in thought. “Oh! A Vampire! I knew I had smelt it before.” She smiles, proud of herself for placing it. “Do you drink blood?”, she inquires, not scared or judgemental at all, just naturally curious. It always intrigued her when people chose to eat things other than eel.

Muraski gave but a brief nod as she spoke the truth, "Indeed that is what I am and as for the blood, it's what I drink. Though, I preffer it in steaks, eating them raw." His brow raised, "And what brings the lovely sea lady out from her waters?" (Assuming naga are from the sea that is ><)

Vashja nods. “You should try eel. It’s the best food in the world.” She smiles, thinking of biting the head off an eel and drinking its blood, she’d have to try it sometime. “Well I am from an island that is essentially south east of Rynvale. I was the healer there for almost my whole life, but I’ve grown bored of that life so after securing the safetly of my people, “ she thinks back to the series of un-navigatable riptides that she cleaverly created around the islant, “I came here in the hopes of learning new things and meeting new people.”

Muraski thought over the food choice but shrugged, "I'm not usually a fan of sea food, though I love shrimp. Perhaps I'll try and eel but for now, I must apologize, it's time to take my leave." He gave a light bow to the female, then removed his tux jacket and placed it on her shoulders. "It would be a shame if you caught a cold, love. Make sure to stay warm while you're about." With that he headed for the exit, "Till we meet again." And with that, he was gone.

Vashja blushed again and watched him leave, not quite knowing what to say. After regaining her composure she decided to explore the clan headquarters, not quite knowing what to make of the vampire, but appreciating his jacket. Since she couldn’t sense temperature it was nice for people to notice these things for her. She hoped the rest of the Coalition would be as nice as Kwen and Muraski were to her.
